It seems on several occasions my wife is always told me that they are bad about not checking and rotating Goods that have expiration dates out and she is constantly catching expiration date problems. I wouldn't have believed it until my wife went there yesterday and bought two Starbucks coffees out of the fridge. Hers had an expiration date of November 29th 2018, however when I went to open mine and look it had an expiration date of June 11th 2018. Which is crazy because today is October the 11th of 2018. That means that this product went 4 months to the date without even being noticed that it had expired. It certainly does not mean that I will not shop here however I will be watching much more closely before buying perishable Goods to ensure that they have not expired.

Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars.

Pub Subs, you are correct! While I have walked this store a few times to pick up random items on occasion, my main purpose for stopping has been pub subs. The line is always expected, busy, but the staff are always very friendly and helpful. Sandwiches are always made with precision and care, and are always extra tasty! Her food is amazing. If you can swing purchasing your food from local farmers, you really should. Food in grocery stores that are raised in feedlots have a lot of medication in them to keep disease down. I don't think this is a good idea for feeding your family. So I went looking for a CSA - community-supported agriculture - meat share. The search lead me to Caney Fork Farms. Boy, am I glad I signed up!! So a full share runs you $100 a month roughly. This is all organic fresh butchered meats from their farms. The taste is simply unbeatable! If you live in Murfreesboro, the closest pick up is at Smith and Lentz Brewery in Nashville once a month. Not too bad, really, for what you get!! The shares vary in meats and you can set preferences at the start. Plus, the weekend before your Tuesday pick up time, you can customize your share based on availability. You can even get extras - I got fresh local honey and focaccia bread this last time! I have had roasts, steaks, pork chops, ribs, bacon, Canadian bacon, sausage links and patties, and even bratwurst! The flavours are unlike anything you can get at a grocery store. Once you try the fresh bacon, you won't want grocery store again!! A full share goes a long way for the two of us. Family of four would need more, in my honest opinion. Nevertheless, the share is worth it to me for the freshness and flavour!! Shares go by the season, so if you do one season, you can skip out of the next if you wish. The staff is super nice, too!
