One thing I love about the 'south' are the Publix grocery stores. I practically squealed with delight when we passed a Publix while vacationing in Lebanon. We ran inside to grab a couple of things. Hubs immediately hit the bakery in search of apple fritters. They had them. We left spending $15 on only a couple of things. Beautiful store and convenient hours. Much more pricey compared to Walmart or even Kroger. Customer service was good, but could have been great. read more

No pizza rolls? No Blue Bell Banana Pudding ice cream?! The store was clean and bright, sure. Some of the stock in the frozen section was low and really, not as many options. This was the first grocery store we've been to since moving here (if you don't count Walmart or Costco). We used to frequent Publix back in NC. This location definitely has a better layout. We didn't interact with any staff nor did they look at us, which was fine. We were there for ice cream and pizza rolls and were on our way. Only left with ice cream. I like to go to Publix on Main Street in Lebanon, Tn. The last time I was there I ordered a 1/4 of a pound of roast beef and the girl who waited on me handed me a 1/2 pound and proceeded to tell me it is too hard to make it the exact amount. I am a native Floridian, where it seems like Publix stores are on every corner. I was so excited when I realized I was in Publix territory and there was a store just a few miles from my hotel. I picked up some cookies and browsed around the store. The store felt very clean and organized, despite it being towards the end of the day. When I'm down south I usually try to find a Publix. Isles are very wide , it's very clean and store is very bright and the prices aren't too bad either. Their bakery has a wide variety of cakes and breads which was what I was looking for. Italian bread! Was close to my BNB so was home for dinner quick. The people in the store are very helpful and go and get things for you if you can't find them. Worth a stop when coming across one of these. read more

This is the worst supplied Publix that I have shopped at and the only one in Lebanon, Tn. If you go on a BOGO day it's rare that you will find it. They must be the last delivery stop from the Publix warehouse and get just what's left on the truck. It's not the personal it's just hit or miss with the product your looking for. I was in publix recently and a young man named Xavier was very helpful. Prices were a bit high but staff was very helpful.

Manager Kristen is extremely rude and unprofessional. She surely does not uphold the extraordinary service you usually receive at Publix stores. I stood inline behind an older women trying to check out who was having trouble with something and Kristen decided she would talk to them very condescendingly and at one point pulled down her mask to berate this poor lady! I really hope she gets some better training from Publix on how to treat people with respect! Will not come back to this store even if it's convenient at times. read more

Here we go again! I travel all over Nashville and stop at several publix locations through the week and enjoy their deli and baked goods. So I can honestly tell you it's this particular location that has a problem. The employees at this establishment are less then helpful. The prices remain high and even their Bogos have become a joke " $8.99 buy one get one " but every other grocery store sells the same thing for $3.00 ! Instead of plying your customers why don't Publix go back to fair prices and the stellar service they were once know for . I was in the deli yesterday and asked for "very thin " there should be a number on the dial of the slicer that associates with this request but this young man did not feel like slicing he sliced a piece and clinched the slice as he showed me a tiny portion but you can still tell it was thickly slice so I iterated "no very thin please" so he walks over to the slicer and comes back with the same piece and a grin that sent my adrenaline flowing ,so I left . I will NEVER return to this mismanaged crap show of a Publix again unless their is a management change and the self serving ,snide ,lazy employees are dealt with . read more

If you want you medication on time do not use there pharmacy! Worst customer service they could care less if you receive your medication.

A very clean and friendly store. The selection of deli items is very good. I like the nice quality like Boars Head which is what they offer. A good variety of deli salads, some unique others the old standbys. Rarely need to wait in line. Always helpful to find items. The produce department is set up a little awkward for me and not always a great variety. The packers are so nice bringing your groceries to the car even in the rain. A little more expensive than Kroger but worth it. read more

The pharmacist Barry has been above and beyond at this location. Better than Walgreens when it comes to making refill requests. I had to take a moment to give compliments to Mr. Barry who not only remembered me but gave me very useful tips on how to get my special needs daughter prescriptions filled in a timely manner. I have not been disappointed. Barry LISTENS and not dismisses you like other pharmacy locations or pharmacist have done. I appreciate that type of caring as my daughters medicine is a very NEEDED remedy to control very SEVERE epilepsy. I wish I knew the lady's name whom took my previous refill request. She was very rude and over talked me, didn't care, didn't listen. Just abruptly said we're out and you're to early to request it call on Monday and hung up. My daughter went without this particular medicine for FOUR DAYS . Barry, thank you is all I can say. You've made a difference to me. Anyone reading this should deal with Mr. Barry. I want to the pharmacy to get my Modena Covid booster dose next day of the snow, there was nobody at the pharmacy and the pharmacy tech older lady was unpleasantly told me that I need to have an appointment to get the shot. My wife had her booster for J&J the same pharmacy and pharmacist was really nice and told us if you want Modena booster you do not need appointment, that's why I didn't make an appointment, there was 2 pharmacy techs working and no one at pharmacy. This is very hard for me to write because I have been an avid Publix customer since I was a kid. As a matter of fact Publix was my first real job ever. During orientation they Iterated heavily on customer service. But things have changed dramatically for Publix customer service is secondary and their high pricing has remain the same. I have been getting boars head cold cuts since I was a kid and I have always gotten them very thinly sliced. The employees at this location refused to slice them very thinly but instead they argue with you and tell you that the thick slices are "sandwich thickness "I don't want them sandwich thickness slicing them thin changes the texture of the cold cuts. I know it takes a little bit more work but maybe Publix should invest in some automatic slicers sense their employees are so fatigued by having to move the slicer back-and-forth too many times.. I have called several times to the management but the Deli clerks will literally be aggravated at you because they see no need to slice anything thin. Publix pricing is obviously a premium tied to service in a clean atmosphere but I don't feel that they are giving either one of those any longer. Clean and friendly. Quality produce, a little more expensive than Kroger, but it does show up in other places like customer service in their Bakery. The only reason why I gave it 4 Stars versus five stars is it doesn't have a wide selection for those that are plant-based and looking for some lower-calorie options for common vegan and vegetarian Staples such as non-dairy milk blends or some plant-based proteins. read more

Not impressed with the Deli, I grew up in Florida and have.been to public my whole life. I like having my cold cuts cut super thin but the employees in this deli seem to think it's way too much cardio to do that much slicing . So when you ask for very thin they start out showing a piece that's a 1/4" thick then they go down from there until you give in. The prices at Publix are a little higher then the Compiter bit it's the service you are paying extra for. Another competitor has board head I will go there from now on. read more

From the manager who offered assistance to my befuddled looking self while shopping to the ever-patient cashier who encouraged my couponing and had to re-enter my demagnetized card number a couple times and the young lady who walked me to my car and loaded the groceries! Publix Bakery gets 5 stars from me! I've had Publix cakes before and they're always amazing, so when we set our wedding date we knew right away to use Publix. The price for our 2 tier wedding cake was surprisingly cheap, and there was only a small fee for delivery and set up. The cake itself was so beautiful and even more perfect than the picture I showed them. It tasted crazy good and everybody loved it. The bakers were so nice and attentive, and I'm told that they delivered the cake and set it up right on time. Such a great choice for a wedding or any event! read more

If it wasn't for the pharmacy, I would have given the grocery 5 stars. The pharmacy has the worst customer service and is not managed properly. I have been to other Publix Pharmacies that deal with a greater amount of people and they still manage to deliver fast and reliable service. The majority of the Pharmaceutical techs are rude and pushy. They act like I'm giving them stress when I simply drop off my prescription. I'm a generally laid back person and it takes a lot to make me angry, yet I will not be using this pharmacy ever again. read more
