I also was encouraged to look for an outfit for myself. I was shown a beautiful lehenga. i had already purchase one from another store. The owner insisted for me try it on. I hesitated , but did it anyway. I felt rushed but the owner all says "it your choice." i endeded up buying the outfit and i knew it migh be similar to the one i have. I thought i can return it. The top of the outfit was big so they sent it our for adjustments I got home and called the next morning because thery were closed that evening. I spoke to the owners and i explain the problem. I took the outfit i had to compared with theres. It was similar in color. I wanted a refund. The answer was all sales are final. Its easy to miss the sign they posted because it not at eye level. suddently, the owner says the tailor has it and they already started opening the outfit and fixing it. Putting on the preasure. The charge for the adustments is pricey, She also said we spend a lot of time with you. Basically, they started pointing out their time and said i should have seen the sign its all over. They signs blended with the decor too much. Their Behaviour suddently change . I feel that customers should be aware before cashing out ,that all sales are final. when cashing out the bill has a tip section also. They also said their system does not allow them to make any changes sorry no exchange and no refund per the owners. I went to pick the outfit a few days later. i tried it on to see what alteration they had made. Honestly, everything looked the same. the skirt was still long and the shirt was still big. i pointed out the length of the skirt. She said they fixed it .You wanted to wear it higher to cover your belly. I know it was not altered because it was the same. The owner offer to sent ithe top back to get it adjusted. I told her i needed iit. the owner fixed the top in the store. It looked ok. They are nice people but when you put the money in their hands they will not give it back. Be careful and be aware of all their store policies before you purchase. Good luck everyone

This was my first time buying Indian clothes for a 3-day Indian wedding. Depending on the…read moresaleswoman for advice, I bought 3 outfits. Two were OK. The third outfit, a dress, really did not fit properly although she convinced me that it did. When I wore it to the Gharba Night, my friend, the groom's mother, commented that she could not believe that she sold me that dress. She had originally said that she would like to visit that store when she was in the area, but had now changed her mind. I also bought 2 pair of earrings for $50. When I went to put them on, both pair had broken backs and could not be worn. I did buy a necklace and earring set that I was able to wear. I spend over $600. Their policy is no exchange, no returns. I will find someplace else to shop next time.

Since it was an online order and the item is not in stores, I have to return it and reorder the correct size. The ring is no longer on sale and is now $70 more. Customer service did nothing to help and refused to exchange it. Any other store would have done an even exchange for the same item.

I'm extremely frustrated by how this situation was handled and the store's total lack of…read moreaccountability. I returned a pair of shoes gifted to me by my mom to exchange for a better size, and in return, I was issued a merchandise credit card. The next day, when I tried to use the card online, it failed. When I called the number on the receipt, I was informed that the card had never been activated. The following day, I went to customer service with all of my receipts, expecting a quick fix for what was clearly the store's mistake. Instead, I spent nearly 4 hours (from 4:10 pm to 7:51 pm) dealing with a situation where I was wrongly blamed. What made the situation even more suspicious was that the card number on the merchandise credit card I received didn't even match the number on my receipt. That alone should have raised major red flags, but I was told that I had "probably dropped the card," which is absurd. I never let go of the card, and I had a witness with me who can confirm that. Then, as if it couldn't get worse, I was informed that someone else had used my merchandise credit the very next day, along with multiple other Kohl's cash cards. The woman who used my card claimed she found it on the floor, which I know is impossible because I never dropped it. This entire situation reeks of a coordinated scam. The speed with which this woman was able to use not just my merchandise credit, but several other Kohl's cash cards the very next day, strongly suggests some form of organized theft. No one wanted to question the suspicious amount of cards she used. No one wanted to question how I got an unactivated card assuming I gave it to someone which is insane. I sure did file a police report. The investigator tracked her down, and I got my money back! Despite the overwhelming evidence--the mismatched card numbers, the quick use of multiple cards, and a witness on my side--management was dismissive, unaccountable, and entirely apathetic. Instead of investigating, they kept asking, "How would you get an unactivated card in the first place?" but refused to answer that same question when posed to them. This should have been a massive red flag for management, but they seemed more interested in deflecting responsibility than resolving the issue. To make matters worse, this was money from my mom, who struggled financially, and had gifted me the shoes as an early Christmas present. Her money was essentially stolen, and Kohl's management treated the entire situation like it was no big deal. This isn't just poor customer service--it's a violation of trust. I've never experienced anything like this before, and I strongly believe that the store needs to investigate this matter properly instead of trying to shift the blame onto their customers. This happened in 2022, and I felt the need to speak out in case it happens to anyone else! I will be sharing across platforms as well.
