An absolute treasure trove. Beautiful place and people. I'm so annoyed that I've only just found this place (they've been here since 1987!). There are SO many handcrafted items you won't find anywhere like clothing, jewelry (gems and even metalwork), and wood/stone sculptures. There are all types of incense, teas, sage, herbs, oils, and they even have natural saffron. I found something unique in most of these categories that I ended up purchasing. The people here were super helpful guiding me throughout the store and gave me goosebumps multiple times describing the care that went into the items and where they came from. This is a really nice Indian Market. They are very friendly and helpful. They have a great supply of various flours and spices. For those that cook with rice flour, bean flour etc this is a great find. I bought a small pizza just to try and really enjoyed the product. I can't believe I found this hot sauce that I've been looking for since I visited Belize years ago! I had no idea they sold it in the states . I bought 2 10 .oz bottles for $5.99 a piece which I thought was a pretty great deal for that size bottle. Pretty excited about that! I also found jackfruit chips, Lychee Juice, naan pizzas and even bought some Homemade Samosas. They were delicious by the way.. Not hot spicy , but full of spice. I wish I would have bought more because I already ate all of them. Glad I found this grocery place thanks to Yelp and I will be back. The owner was very sweet and helpful too. read more

This old dusty store may have seen better days.It is now like a junk shop.It is almost impossible to get into their freezers as they are in such disarray.Every thing has been juggled up and is upside down.Some food has thawed and been frozen again.The store has bottled and dry Indian spices,condiments etc.The owner is a disgruntled person with little charm.The place just says.."I have had it with you"even before you enter.Better times left a long time ago,sadly. read more

Clothes are all clumped together and it makes it hard to search for what you are looking for... most of them out of style. Watch out for expired grocery! And if you are looking for affordable stuff, this is the wrong store to go... overpriced :( read more

I was shopping here and as I have done so many times I wanted to take a picture of a product so that I could remember it's name later and then I was told u can't take a picture in here. I was then led to the front of the store with the female associate in front of me and the male associate behind me. This is the last time I will ever go to this store. I recommend the Indian market down the street much friendlier and helpful. read more

I'm a food blogger that goes to a lot of ethnic markets. India Bazaar is an excellent example of how a market should be run. The owners are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is well organized and very clean. They have incredibly fresh spices and unique high quality goods. There is two sides to every story, the two star reviewer below is not telling the whole truth. I was curious and asked the owners about what happened, I believe their version for what it is worth. Great store, simply great. I only use henna for my hair and was afraid I would not be able to find henna in Ft Myers. This store has it, they have many pretty dresses and cosmetics, they have a great variety of foods and you can order something hot to go, too. I had samosa ready before I was done shopping. Yummmm. I normally shop at Indian stores & went to this one. They overprice literally everything. Shan masala is supposed to be 1.49-1.99, they sell one single Shan masala for 2.99. A bit outrageous. Dust everywhere, a little cleaning couldn't hurt. I saw expired products in various places. Save yourself the time and money, go elsewhere. The cashier was very rude to me when I pointed it out. All I said was "it seems a bit pricey to me" & he was quite defensive. I doubt I'll be shopping there again & thought I warn everyone else about it. read more

This is a great little Indian market that sells every kind of Indian food item that one would desire! A little pricey, but otherwise an excellent store. They call themselves a bazaar because they also sell some clothing and other non-food items. read more

Today was the fourth time I entered that store. It is run by a husband and wife. I always feel rushed by them although I am there hours before they close and there's never a single customer in the store besides me. In spite of their rudeness I continued to try to shop there, I have bought 6 bracelets, incense, and some Indian foods on one day that the male owner seemed to be in a pleasant mood. Today I went in and was looking around at the items, while the lady was on the phone, I wasn't even there eight minutes when she got off the phone and told me that I had to leave because she had things to do. The last time she kicked me out, I didn't even get to walk in five feet, she announced I had to leave because she was closing. it was two hours before closing, she lied. So today, I told her why is it that they treats customers like this when there isn't even any business going on, no customers at all. She responded that I was not shopping and I was not a customer. Unbelievable!!! Someone needs to tell these arrogant people that they are in America, and we do not treat our customers like this. She was very nasty, and unprofessional. I will never shop there again and I will spread the word around. There is another Indian store on Cleveland, it is a little further away, but they are much kinder and know how to run a store properly. It is also easier to shop because it is very organised and very clean, unlike the Indian Bazarre, that has a horrible odor that makes me queasy, their items in the store are very dusty and thrown about. The clean Indian store is on Winkler and Cleveland Ave, it's called Indian Grocery. They are much cheaper than the other store. Indian Bazarre marks there products up by a large margin. it's rediculous. their Florida water for example is 14.99. I buy if for five dollars at my local Spanish market. Don't buy their overpriced goods. these people are there to steal your money and they are extremely rude. read more

very bad customer service and they charge more than any other indian stores in fort myers and florida.. .they charge 3.99 dollars for a packet of frozen indian food normally 2.49 for all other stores in fort myers...so we beware guys..that was my experience.... thanks read more
