We went to Rodeo and after about 45 seconds, we engaged in conversation with the clerk. A man approached, interrupting our conversation and speaking over us to the clerk in Arabic. I spoke up by saying that his behavior was very rude. He waved his hand at me and said it would only take a minute to instruct his employee. At the same time, I could hear the clerk murmuring that the man was his boss. To which I squealed, "That is even worse! Interrupting a customer, in the middle of a sales transaction, by talking over the customer, is bad customer relations!" The man gave us a disgusted look and vanished. The clerk sheepishly tried to apologize. I stopped him by stating that he did nothing wrong. He had to obey his boss. His boss is rude, arrogant and racist. We've shopped at Rodeo since they opened. We're happy to go elsewhere. read more

The Indian guy in the morning who works from 8-12 pm called me the n word. Don't give this place the time of day. He also called my Mexican friend the b word. Maybe he was having a bad day but this type of behavior should not be tolerated. My friend and I were taking our time to choose the vape that he wants. He didn't end up selling it to us because he got suspicious I guess. I don't know why. My friend and I both work in construction and had our uniforms on. Anyone who is black or Mexican don't support this place. This guy had a horrible attitude. read more

Normally it's good service, however the guy that's been there recently and with the white car has made coming here a sour experience. He already doesn't have good customer service let alone I left an item behind and came back to get it and after he puts the item back acts like I didn't leave it . I can't wait for him to be gone with that rude ass expression on his face he always seems to have . But don't worry I will not be returning after dealing with him . This smoke shop has a good selection. I will give them that. Even though they did not have the particular item I went in for. They did a two stars for me because of the very, very poor service. I've spent a lot of money. There was no thank you, welcome, I have a nice day, here's your change, total given, Nora was my change even counted back. When I commented to him to let him know that he is supposed to guide the customer through the cash transaction. He said, is your receipt. Usually the employees here are nice but (this is for the owner/management)- on May 6, 2023 about 7:45pm, the man who was working at this time was very rude. He is incompetent about products the employees usually know and I hope management reconsiders his position at this store. He was on the phone helping customers very unprofessional. I know it's a sketchy location but come on. it can't be that hard to be polite and KNOW the products in the store you work at?? I suggest going to the smoke shop on Iowa instead. I've always gone here and the owners are great, polite & helpful every time. Their products are good too. However, the other night I went a little late and the only cashier there walked me to the door afterwards so I could walk to my car safely because the parking lot isn't the safest at night on University. If you use your debit card to pay for your items, they will charge your card again after you leave the store. Be very careful if you shop here. Also after I bought the bogus charge to their attention the guy behind the counter was very rude and dismissed my concerns and said that they didn't do anything that it was my bank. I told him that I was going to call the police. They said go ahead we don't care. read more

This store ALI has is definitely HOOD CERTIFIED! Meaning he has always had a great crew working 4 him. I'm a senior citizen with mobility issues. I live in chronic pain, IT takes ALOT getting device b4 I get in. ALI gave me the number 4 curbside service with a understanding and compassion attitude. I didn't feel that I was a problem. Soooo...... customer service from 2 of the employees have good customer service. It seems that everyone else just can't help out in certain situations or they have given my partner something that ended up not working out so well. I don't smoke, my partner vapes, and she always needs something - a new vape pen, chambers, pods, juices... :| Teddy always seems to know what's what in there so we try to only purchase something when he's around. Here are a few situations why: The actual manager sold us an old product but swore by it and said he always would restock the chambers for it. We came back the next week and he had none. Even said they don't get that pen any more. (Months later, the pen was restocked, but my partner switched pens already.) Another employee was rude to my partner when she came in once because the vape pen they have her was messing up. He said he couldn't help her and didn't even try. Other employees just don't seem to know what they're talking about - like giving my partner the wrong type of juice for certain pens. These incidents are over the span of about 1 1/2 years. There's a lot of merchandise and good products. I think having knowledge about what you're smoking will help you a great deal when getting what you need. We've been to many shops in the downtown Riverside area. This one we come to the most. read more

They have one of the largest selections of glass, blunt wraps, small pieces, bongs, anything you can imagine for amazing prices.
