The stay was pay at property so there was no pre charge or cancellation cost . However the Hotel went ahead and charged my card as a "no show" for the full price of the room . When I contacted the property the following Monday was told the owner is in New York and to try back Tuesday. I contacted them again Wednesday and was told the owner had still not been in. Was told by front desk employee "Joe" that "if they owe me money rest assured I will damn well get it " . We are now 11 days of calling every other day and still have not received a phone call by owner or manager with leaving my name and number each time I call. This motel looked okay but a couple of hours after I fell asleep I woke up itching. I tried to ignore it but it became impossible. When I checked I saw the dreaded BEDBUGS. I couldn't believe my eyes so I looked it up online; I was right : BEDBUGS. This was about 1:30 AM. I decided to spend the rest of the night in my vehicle and talk to the proprietor in the morning. She absolutely refused to deal with my complaint. She insisted that they did not have bedbugs and refused me a refund because "I should have come to complain at 1 AM." Be warned! Do not stay here. When I looked up the business on TripAdviser - sadly AFTER staying there - I saw that there were many others who'd had the same experience with bedbugs.
