First, I had two kids in braces at the same time. There isnt much availability in the schedule to get them to appointments at the same time which is a pain. Second, on the same note...when something happens like a broken bracket or wire they don't have any availability get them in and get it fixed in a timely manner (within two weeks usually) which is disappointing. Also, if you have to reschedule it is almost impossible to get an appointment within a few weeks. This is all fine not great and a pain but fine. Whatever...kids will be out of braces soon enough its not a lifelong commitment. The final straw was when we had to move and I was told there was an affiliated office in my new city completely across the country. So based on that their recommendation as well as they fact they told me it was all included in the price I had already paid we decided to keep one of my kids in braces. Long story short. The office we moved to is no longer affiliated which, I get it is not Virginia Orthodontic Partners fault but decisions were made based on information given to me by Virginia Orthodontic Partners. When I asked for a refund (because I paid in full) to just cover the cost of a new orthodontist to take the braces off and make retainers (since obviously that was included in the initial cost and because Virginia Orthodontic Partners didn't do that part of treatment). I was told no...several times. Thats when staff started to get rude even with questions just clarifying the policy. At one point I was told they were going to send me a small portion of that money but I have yet to receive anything and it has been almost well over 3 months.

Dr. Djeu has always taken the time to answer every question we have in detail and really explains the process and why he is doing what he's doing.
