He is very thorough in his assessments and excellent in follow-up. He will try to find a remedy to every medical issue I have and so far he's good at it. He is a combination of traditional and modern medicine. Traditional in a sense that he doesn't just rely on blood work but he would recommend a double check just to make sure. i've been a patient at Dallas Family Medicine all of my life. i have seen every provider the clinic…read morehas had at one time or another. first off, just to know that DFM has been around for so many years and to know that they have provided such great health care services for my parents, myself, my kids and now my grandkids is amazing to me to think about. 4 generations of health care services in my family alone is a comforting and reassuring thought to me. secondly, i have had Doctor Edwardson as my primary care physician since his family moved into our little community of Dallas. His level of care, his concern for his patients and his attention to every detail kept me going to him throughout these past years. this is not a typical "big city" clinic where you may see doctors come and go on a regular basis and your care as a patient may be passed from one doctor to another between doctor visits. having been a patient with DFM all these years has allowed me the opportunity to see the dynamics of the clinic change but NEVER see the dedication to patient care change even as employees move on. i have seen a staff committed to maintaining a level of care above and beyond expectations. i have also seen that this is a business model that Doctor Edwardson has set as a "Top Down" example. he expects nothing less than the highest performance and best of care to be provided by himself and every other employee at DFM. to anyone that may have seen and/or heard of a change in ownership at DFM and may have concerns due to this change, it has been my experience that there has been no change in my exceptional level of care and with my experiences in services from Dr. Edwardson or the staff that serves DFM. i've seen no confusion in records, no questions in who i am as the patient and most especially no change in the fact that my doctor "knows" me as his patient and the staff at this clinic still takes care of me as if i were the most important patient. the thing i have found to be such a great comfort is, i know that while i am treated this way, every other patient is also treated in the same way. i've seen a few other reviews out there. i've read those reviews and while majority of the reviews i've read are good for Doctor Edwardson and the clinic, i have read some that were not good. in reviewing the negative ones i seem to see a couple of things that stand out to me. one thing is, when someone writes and posts a review if it's a review that shows they are not happy with a billing practice or they are unhappy because a service wasn't covered, i don't even consider that as a qualified review of the doctor's care. reality is, the doctor has no control over what billing practices are in the clinic or over what services are and are not covered. i'd say the person(s) writing a negative review over something like would complain anywhere they go. next thing, i tend to see more negative reviews done by people that expect a "fast food industry" type of service to be provided by the doctor. personally i would much rather see a doctor that has the best interest in mind for me, the patient. i have been the patient that had to be seen in an "emergency type" situation and it was a comfort knowing Doctor Edwardson was there to see me. i've also been the patient that had to wait because an unavoidable situation came up and my doctor had to take care of that patient first. being understanding of how that works sometimes goes a long way in knowing that at some point or another it may be your turn in the emergency situation that makes someone else wait. keep that in mind when you complain. lastly in reading the negative reviews i ask myself, did the patient do anything to try to correct the situation with the doctor before writing their review or could it have been a misunderstanding on their part. i know it has always been my experience with Doctor Edwardson that if there was a problem the misunderstanding was from my end not his end as my provider. once i understood things it made sense how and why things were as they were. finally in my review i'd like to say thank you to Doctor Edwardson, the other wonderful providers and the great staff if DFM. You have All been there through the years for my family now for over 4 generations and it's been great. i appreciate You Doctor and work You have done for each of us.

Then having to repost this review 74 separate times because the doctor is trying to hide what happened. The next step is going to the Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine. I work full time, just started a full time Masters program, still dealing with extreme fatigue which was the main reason for my visit and I'm STILL trying to get some kind of resolution. I thought Taxman was a good doctor but he was horrible, self flattering, snide, and indifferent to helping me. I'm still flabbergasted because I thought I was choosing a good doctor who could guide me to other good doctors and give me advice. I did not get that at all. He could have rescheduled me with someone else if he knew he wasn't going to help me. People get away with things because they rely on others being quiet about it and I won't be silenced. Here are some more details I initially left out of the below review because Taxman seemed confused. While I was having a panic attack he held up his wedding ring hand in front of him and waved his hand around showcasing his ring-- I'm not sure why he thought that was appropriate? What does his relationship status have to do with my appointment? Is this standard for all his appointments? He seemed confused, I told him while in the middle of a panic attack I'm not here to date you??? I'll continue to repost this until the end of time, no patient should have to deal with this and then pay $800/hour My appointment with Dr.Taxman was incredibly disappointing. I had a small panic attack at the beginning of the appointment, when I recovered I looked up and his head was tilted down and eyes looking up glaring at me... he looked angry? We just sat there and stared at eachother for maybe 60 seconds until I broke off the stare off. It was scary, bizarre, and cruel. I was as mostly looking down with my eyes closed during this panic attack, so this came out of no where. Nothing warrants that response from a doctor. I still asked about my issues, I have year round allergies I asked about and he shrugged and mentioned one drug, that was it. We went over two prescriptions I have, he said wow that's a high dosage when referring to my antidepressant, he did not elaborate. There was a knot on my throat he said he would be willing to see through till the end-- I'm OK, I'll go to another doctor. It's clear he didn't want me in the appointment and he had an attitude the majority of the time. He rolled his eyes twice while I was talking. I read glowing reviews from other patients who he's helped with similar issues before booking. There were STILL several other issues but I'll leave it at that, he seemed confused by the purpose of the visit. I overestimated his abilities as a professional and as a doctor. Taxman has weak character and questionable moral compass if this is how he treats people/patients. Edit: I went to a real doctor and turns out my insomnia/extreme fatigue is from perimenopause, started HRT and my sleep has improved immensely. I didn't expect Taxman to know that necessarily but his suggestion for my sleep issues was that I was bored... and to stop taking day naps...and 6 hours of sleep is normal... Since I said I was going to report my experience with Taxman to the Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine because Dr Harding and Annie Grossarth weren't doing anything to help me they cancelled my Cymbolta appointment with a different doctor. So if a doctor does anything similar to you and you report it you'll probably be denied access to healthcare here... How many other patients have had similar issues here and they couldn't defend themselves. Try giving patients kindness and dignity, get some ethics training as an organization. Anyways, this place is a JOKE
