Being out of town my boyfriend and I wanted something quick after traveling 7ish hours that day. We decided pizza would be the best option since there's a few in Gwinn. Rodneys was the first to come up. Order took less then what we were told. Pizza is a 3/5, hot, sauce and cheese. Can't really go wrong and was what was expected. I would recommend this place though. Don't be discouraged by the dive bar appearance. The Greek pizza is hands down one of the best pizza's we have ever had.

Pizza was terrible, no sauce no taste. It looked like it was thrown together by a 3 year old. Waste of my money, won't return

Offering a 10" pizza is perfect for a solo household! I've only tried one so far and it was delicious. I even wanted to eat the crust because it was so flavorful with the perfect crunch. Definitely keeping Rodney's on speed dial for my future pizzas! read more

Used to love this place. The delivery sucks lately. I'm sure it's staffing due to COVID but they consistently tell us that it will be delivered a full hour before it actually is. The food is usually cold by the time it arrives so not sure what the quality is at this point. My guess is that it's better when it's warm. read more

We were looking forward to a yummy pizza dinner as part of our unpacking break from our recent move. Sadly we were really disappointed. It started out great with a very friendly and helpful phone call. Followed up by a great delivery experience. Then it went sideways. The mozzarella bread was amazing and definitely recommended item. The pizza was a whole other matter. The crust was very thin and super hard. Almost over cooked feeling. In addition, it was super greasy and dripping with oil. Very disappointing! Would not recommend the pizza at this point but had been told their meatball sandwiches and pasta offerings were really good, so maybe we will give them another try with those options. Given they are one of the only delivery options in our area and staff is friendly and helpful, I want to like them. Hence why I did not just give them one star. read more

The pizza I is okay but way to expensive food delivery of 2 pizzas and chest bread $75 I won't be ordering from there again....

I guess when your options are as limited as they are in sorta-rural Gwinn, MI (population 2000), one can't complain TOO loudly about the quality of the food. I mean, one subpar pizza joint is better than NO pizza joint, right? The last two times I visited family in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we ordered pizzas from just-down-the-street Rodney's. And both times, we got pizzas weighed down by sheets of mozzarella cheese and sprinkled with canned mushrooms. Tasted fine, but not using fresh ingredients on a pizza is a sin that should warrant an automatic visit from Gordon Ramsay and his Kitchen Nightmares team. The pizza also featured half-inch layers of gooey cheese that so dominated the pie that I couldn't even taste the sauce or the the spongy crust underneath. They also do a stale and rubbery garlic pizza bread-type thing that is essentially a thin pizza crust covered with mozzarella and peppered with dry oregano. I guess if you're craving a pizza and can't make the drive to Marquette, Rodney's is a serviceable choice. Just don't expect anything on par with even Domino's or Pizza Hut. read more

The last time we ordered Rodney's Pizza was before they moved to their new location. The pizza used to be good. This time we ordered 2 12" pizzas. Very pricey and not good. Not the same pizza we used to get. Will not order from Rodney's again. read more

This didn't look like a breakfast place from the outside, but we noticed lots of trucks/cars parked there at 8am, so took a chance. Good coffee, eggs and toast with a side of colorful locals making interesting conversation got our day off to a great start. read more

We moved to the area a couple months ago and have now tried every meal. Breakfast was fantastic. Pizza is good. Tonight had the fish sandwich and was excited when it was served on a Sheboygan hard roll .... little reminder of home :) read more

We stopped in when visiting family in the area. The pizza was just so-so, but we received great service from our waitress, Anna. She bent over backwards to accommodate us for a birthday. I'm a fan of fresh mushrooms so we were disappointed with the canned mushrooms. It's quaint little place right on the main drag decorated with lighted grapes on wall and decor that feels like grandma's house. read more

A constant hit and miss. Have had decent sandwiches and pizzas but overall I would just skip this place if you're looking for something satisfying. Ordered a pizza tonight and it was burnt, when I called to tell them about it and how unhappy I was; I was told that I could have another pizza made if I came back to the restaurant. But who wants to drive all the way back over there after getting settled in at home after a long day at work? The customer service I received wasn't warm and apologetic as it should have been. The best pizza's I've ever had have always had canned mushrooms instead of fresh, likewise Rodney's does this too. I personally think the pizzas here are delicious, although they can be pricey. read more

Get the Cheese Fry (cheesy bread) and cheese spread to dip, it's amazing! The pizza is alright the chef salad is great and quite Large!

Too much cheese, canned shrooms..greek pizza best choice, but crust is half-assed..

Only place that has a salad I'd actually eat. 1/2 lettuce/greens/rabbit food and 1/2 cheese/meat/more meat/meat again/eggs and more. They have fantastic appetizers as well, especially the jalapeno cheese curds. read more

So yesterday I went to Rodney's at 11:02 am. there were only two other tables of people there so we ordered, got our water and then did not see ANYONE for almost 45 minutes. At 11:45 I went to the counter and told our waitress we couldn't wait any more and had to leave as I had an appt. in 15 minutes, she said "ok" yelled back cancel that order and we left, still hungry. Today I decided to go back as we had no time limit. We walked in, were ignored for 5 minutes then the owner comes out and says I hear there was a problem yesterday. We explained what happened and she said SHE wasn't going to eat the cost of the wasted meal, were we?. I told her I had no intention of paying for food we never recieved due to her staffs incompetence at which time she told me our food was ready when we left. I told her the waitress should have told us that and we would have taken it to go, however she had said NOTHING but "ok". The owner thrn told me if we were not willing to pay for at least half the food WE NEVER received (granted the whole order would have been less than $17 , then she would not serve us...............WTF??!45 minutes for an omelet and an egg sandwhich and I"M the bad guy? I don't think so! I will NOT be eating there anymore and I would not recommend it to anyone unless you LIKE slow service, rude waitstaff and bad customer service!! read more
