We got several quotes for the large haul weed removal and Nick was the lowest and most reasonable by far. He worked with us on ways to keep the cost down but still get the end result we wanted. In the end he did an amazing job removing every single weed and dead plant, sprucing up our trees and edging our lawn. We wound up hiring him to plant a few additional flowers in our front yard as well, and not only did he do that with as much care and planning as he possibly could, but when an irrigation line wound up getting nicked in the process, he came back and fixed it the very next day with no fuss or extra charge. In our opinion, based on our personal experience with Daniel and this company, they do Poor work…read more We had cracks in our concrete within days because he saved costs for HIMSELF by putting rocks underneath, he didn't follow our instructions. His guys don't even know the proper way to plant a tree. They planted an expensive tree too far down and it's almost completely dead, we will probably lose it. They don't know how to tie a tree to make sure it grows straight the right way. He claimed he knew how to do certain things but clearly doesn't. He cut corners to save himself money but still charged us for what amount of concrete he claimed he needed. This isn't even all of the issues. Daniel is extremely combative/argumentative when you tell him they messed up and try to get him to do it correctly. My father who designed our landscaping even took the time to teach him things he didn't know. Daniel got upset because a separate project to build a couple things for us, he thought he would quote us high and when we went with another company who was normally priced he got upset. My father said he wants the things fixed first that he's been putting off fixing (things that his guys messed up) but Daniel has no interest on completing our job the right way. He never finished the job, he never came back to fix all the things they screwed up, he just "ghosted" us. We have done landscaping on at least 5 homes in my lifetime and have NEVER had this many issues with a Landscaping Company. I personally would never use this company again and I would NOT recommend him. For reference, our landscaping totals were over $30,000 for what we wanted. Unacceptable business practices. More info with pictures to follow. I waited months to give him a chance to fix this before I posted this. He was forewarned and still chose to do the wrong thing by not handling business. I will be filing complaints with the BBB and whatever else I need to do to remedy this. I am also happy with how they routed my irrigation system. There are the occasional weeds growing through the weed guard, but I think that's inevitable. The bad: Most of the trees they planted ended up dying because they were planted incorrectly. All trees are on the same irrigation system that they routed, so they all received the same amount of water. 7/10 trees died. I pulled them out and saw that they didn't prepare the soil correctly and didn't spread the roots out after transplanting the trees. The ugly: The gate install was a complete disaster. They put the gate frame on backwards which cause the gate to have uncontrollable sagging. Also, the gate lock was put on backwards.
