Gilbert was just here at my house. He messaged on a Saturday, confirmed his arrival and then reconfirmed before he showed up. He was on time, clean, professional and knew exactly what he was doing. His prices were VERY reasonable considering the quality of work that he did. I got his card and I will be calling him back for a quote to refinish large parts of my back yard. Out of everyone my wife and I called, he was the only person who showed up on time and did the job he promised. Everyone else we called before him scheduled appointments and then failed to show, leaving us with broken sprinkler valves for over three weeks. I wish I could give Gilbert and his company more than five stars. Our landscaper didn't work out and he was doing work for someone I'm working with, so she said she'd have him contact me. He contacted me almost immediately and came out the next day for an estimate, which was very fair, and started the project the next day! It was a pretty big project, as we needed him to fix old sprinklers that had been destroyed by large tree roots and lay down sod. Gilbert said it could take 4 days, but they were done in 2! They were there on time each day, worked all day and cleaned up after themselves. Gilbert even installed a drip system in my planter without disturbing the plants that were already in there! Gilbert called me and notified me that his next available appointment was several days away. I understood, and dispite the intense 4 days of heat that was sure to cause issues for my landscape, decided to stop my search and wait for Gilbert until he could give me a quote. Not only did I wait, but Gilbert set the date and time, and based on his availability, I scheduled my busy work day around his availability. Not only was he a no show, he did not even have the courtesy to call and let me know he would not be able to make it. Just straight stood me up. I don't know about you, but I do not do business with people that don'y even have the ability to show professional courtesy. I understand people get busy, things come up, but business is business.
