I recently had the pleasure of working with Rodriguez Party Rentals for a large baby shower, and although I was a bit nervous with everything being confirmed via text, on the day of the party, the delivery and setup were punctual and efficient as well as the pickup the day after. The quality of the tablecloths was not bad, but not great. They were pressed nicely and clean, but were not that good of material so very see-through. It wasn't that big of a deal because we had stuff on the tables to hide it, but I would not have liked that if this had been a wedding or another important event that needed top notch linens. Overall, Rodriguez Party Rentals made our event seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable party rentals. On communication: I called several rental businesses and only this one picked up the phone. After speaking on the phone, communication happened over text (which i prefer) but I felt comfortable knowing that if I needed to get into immediate contact, I could pick up the phone and call again. When texting, I always got a response in less than 1 hour. On pricing: I rented tables and chairs and the quote they gave me with delivery was very reasonable. On flexibility: I changed my order 3 times because the headcount for my party kept updating. It was easy for me to text and ask if they had availability and what the new quote would be. They were accomodating and had what I needed as my order grew. On delivery: They delivered on the morning of the party and came on time as promised. Worst customer service. I called them last Friday early afternoon, and have yet to hear from them. I left a message informing them what I was looking to rent and the date. No one has had the courtesy to at least return my call to say "We're booked" or whatever. How can a business survive with such bad customer service. Furthermore, I called and left an answering machine message without a return phone call. I am in Bonita (very close) and said I am willing to pick up my own party supplies or have them delivered. I struggled whether to write this review or not but wanted to make sure one understands what you could be getting. We needed to rent some additional tables and chairs for a party we were hosting and the company confirmed them (see text message thread). The day before the event, they were supposed to deliver everything between 5-6pm. They didn't show up and did not call/text. I reached out to them (called and texted) after they were more than an hour and no response. It wasn't until a little after 8pm that they responded to say there was a death in the family and they were unable to help. Now, I understand that life happens and a death in the family is devastating but we were counting on them coming. I would have expected a phone call or text to let me know rather than just not showing up, forcing me to reach out. And even when I reached out to not respond and reply back to let me know. We had to do a mad scramble to get what we needed. read more
