They have a fenced in playground area for kids with swings and play structure. The Complex holds a turf field with concessions. There is also five baseball/softball fields, a multi-use field that is often set up as three soccer fields. Bleacher are onsite but you can also bring your own chair. Finally, the pickleball and tennis courts that are open to public daily from 7am - 10pm. They are well-lit and offer 6 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts. Also, the Recreation Department is well organized for their youth sports. After dealing with City of Bloomingdale and Effingham County Recs, Pooler makes it feel like a walk in the park - pun intended!

The organization of both the training sessions and game schedules is something we truly appreciate, it's consistent, and easy to follow. The kids always look forward to their practices and games, and it's clear the program is set up to be both fun and developmental. Games usually run about 40-50 minutes and happen twice a week, which feels like the perfect balance. One funny challenge for us is when Olivia and Joel have games at the same time we end up splitting up and catching half of each game so we don't miss out on either of them. It keeps us busy, but it's totally worth it! it's a great place for kids to stay active, learn teamwork, and enjoy soccer in a supportive environment.

We came in on a Friday and I tried to book a Friday or Saturday tour and they normally have 2 or 3 tours, 5 pm, 7 pm or 9 pm. The 5:00 tour is not candlelight so initially that was all available. I tried to get added to a later tour but they can't exceed a certain number. I paid for the 5:00 and at the last minute they had a cancellation on the later tours, so I got the 9:00 and it was perfect. Make sure you can be on your feet for an hour and a half and wear good shoes!! It was fun and I would recommend it highly!!

This was the first event we've ever been to at Enmarket Arena. It's about half the size of VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville which holds about 15,000 for concerts whereas Enmarket Arena holds about 7,500. Their minor league hockey team plays there as does their new women's basketball team like our Jacksonville Waves. The venue has been open for 4 years now and somehow, there are still some pain points with respect to customer service / interaction. There seem to be tiers of teams there and I can tell you this: every single person we interacted with that was wearing a blazer was rude to us for absolutely no reason. Even though we encountered more than a few folks who seemed almost mad to be working there I'd like to call out two AMAZING people that helped make our night awesome. These two folks were from other teams (not wearing blazers). First, I'd like to thank Sheila for being a warm, kind hearted person who was just a joy to interact with from the moment we got to the arena until we left. We roamed a lot, so we ran into her more than a few times. Every time we did, she was smiling, helping someone with something and being upbeat. I'd also like to say thank you to Adrienne, our go-to person at the concession stand by section 102. Like Sheila, she was warm, kind and just a very nice person. She happens to know Detroit very well so we had a great conversation about traveling around Michigan as kids. The show itself had a surprising amount of production issues, which I've never seen at a Weird Al concert. Miscued backdrop videos and delayed audio triggers happened a few times through the show, which was just odd to see. Al is a pro though, so he pushed through them without missing a beat or complaining to the crowd about it. I've included photos of us with the workers I shouted out along with a photo of Lauren talking to Weird Al after the show. If you go to the original post in our Facebook group, you'll also see a few long video clips of the opening of the show because I always love how he starts the show from backstage. Another great experience from Weird Al is in the books. Now we have to wait for Tallahassee in September before we see him again. We prepaid $20 for front lot at side of venue. Now, let's discuss getting out of said parking lot. We got in our car at 10:30. We are still in our car & no one is moving! Yes, I am writing review as we sit in the parking lot. We have been to several concerts over the years and have never had this type of issue before. So I suggest you park on one of the lots on the road beside the venue or the back of the lot closest to the exit. Started moving at 11:05!

There was quite a few things for younger kids to do, to include a water table, painting on plexiglass glass, a dinosaur scavenger hunt, games, building blocks, play structure, etc. They had some tables and chairs set up for crafts, story time, and even let the kids pet a tortoise. While this area was nice, I felt like a lot of these activities could be found or done for free at local parks or a library. It was a nice break from the beach, but I don't think the cost is worth it for me to go back or refer it to friends.

We had never done a 'haunted' tour in a city and this was a lot of fun!…read moreWe called the tour office early and then met our guide in front of the Moon River Brewing Company. She was dressed in colonial period costume and actually had a rich family history in the area. We grabbed a beer inside and headed up to the second floor of Moon River, which is supposedly very, very haunted. People being hit by objects, power tools switching on by themselves, and other stuff. Anyway, we went to two other pubs and then a haunted square where and indian chief is buried and then on over to the 1790 restaurant for a one of the best Planter's Punch drinks I've ever had. All in all, a really good time. The guide was very knowledgable and was full of fun facts and great stories! This is a must do for adults in Savannah. Really a neat experience. So glad we did this.

Your normal run of the mill carnival food. (I just came for a corn dog and funnel cake. ) It was extremely slow due to a cold front had just moved through earlier in the day which seemed to have kept the masses at home. There is a small livestock building but no animals in sight. No musical entertainment. All in all, I got my fried foods and skedaddled. Oh yeah....parking was free! BONUS STAR
