Dan did a great job. He has much personality and knowledge. We went over a good deal of ghost history and facts. Enjoyed very much.

We took the Savannah History and Haunts Candlelit Ghost Walking Tour and listen to me when I say it was the BEST GHOST TOUR I have ever done!!! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Savannah's history and really painted a spooky, eerie and haunted version of Savannah which is INCREDIBLE!!!! You will get so much out of this tour in the 90 minutes than you will ever get out of any book. Do not miss your opportunity to experience Savannah in a whole different perspective.

Very cool tour! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah and was very entertaining. Some humor and spooky stories made for a great time. Highly recommend!

There are so many haunted tour offerings in Savannah, it's honestly a little intimating to choose one. I have been living here about a month, had friends coming to visit and had selected three different tours that seemed like the best. Honestly, I selected Savannah History and Haunts (distinguished by the tour guide with the lantern) because it was the only tour that had spots left day of, but boy do I feel like I lucked out. This is a 1.5 hour tour, drinks are welcome but the tour does cross E Jones Street where the guide reminds you to dispose of drinks as the open container laws don't "technically" extend past that point. However, there was plenty of time prior to that point to walk and drink my pint from Six Pence Pub (a 2 minute walk from the start of the tour and my recommendation if you desire a drink to go). We met our guide, and owner of the company, at Chippewa Square. What I loved about this tour was that there was a great deal of history along with true tellings of events that had happened throughout the stops along our route. Our guide was a great story teller but was also honest and straightforward about stories pasted down and facts. Our tour included stops at the Mercer-Williams House, through Monterey Square, we walked by the Massie Heritage Center, and ended the tour outside of the gates of the Colonial Park Cemetery. For $20/person plus tax (approximately $2.50), I would highly recommend this tour and would even venture on it again!

Have been to multiple haunted tours in other cities, and this was one of the best. Great way to stroll around the squares at night, while learning some interesting local history.

Our tour guide, Natalie was amazing! Very knowledgeable of Savannah's history! I recommend this tour!

This tour was not only fun but informative. The history of Savannah is filled with blood and tears and Dan did a great job in teaching us about this haunts, the mysteries and history about the city. Great tour. Would definitely recommend. This was my first haunt tour and now I'm excited for many more.

This was the best ghost tour I've been on in Savannah! I've been on 2 others and nothing compares to this one. Tyler was amazing and so entertaining! He could recite an instruction manual and it would be intriguing. Loved that he included so much history and extra details that made the ghost elements that much more interesting. Would recommend this a thousand times!

Fascinating experience! Learned about the history of Savannah and took a beautiful walking tour. Dan was entertaining, accommodating and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! There are a lot of walking ghost tours to choose from, and this one is top notch!

With that being said, upon researching the area, Dan's tour came up as almost unanimously the best thing to do in Savannah. To say we learnt a lot and had a great time would be an understatement, Dan gave us a broad overview of many elements of Savannah's rich and diverse history. We were visiting from Florida, so we knew it would be hot, but as it was a very shaded route with plenty of stops it was not an issue. As Dan advices on the website, pack water, and sunscreen. The walk itself is very dog friendly and at a leisurely pace suited to all levels of fitness. Finding dog friendly activities is always high on our list, and plus the wealth of knowledge and passion Dan has it was a no brainer! Due to the heat, some other guests had to reschedule their time, so we were lucky enough to have a private tour, which probably would be worth an additional star on its own! Dan as a host was witty, engaging and brought Savannah to life. We have already recommended Savannah Dan to multiple people and will continue to moving forward.

There was zero clear signage indicating that parking was prohibited or that vehicles would be towed. No warning signs, no visible notices--nothing that would reasonably alert a driver. Within a very short time, my car was gone. I later learned it had been towed, conveniently and quickly, by a towing company that seems to patrol this area aggressively. The whole situation felt like a setup designed to trap unsuspecting visitors. It's hard not to believe there is some level of coordination when towing happens so fast in an area with no posted restrictions. The towing fees were outrageous, and the process to retrieve my car added insult to injury. What should have been a pleasant Savannah experience turned into a costly and stressful ordeal. Tourists beware: if you're anywhere near Savannah Carriage Tours, be extremely cautious about where you park--even if it looks legitimate. This experience seriously soured my visit, and I would not recommend supporting a business operating in an area where situations like this are allowed to happen.
