Full disclosure, Trident is the in-house mortgage company there, but our agent never pressured us to use them, which we appreciated. We shopped around for the best deal, and were immediately impressed by how helpful and friendly Laura was; even before we committed to working with Trident, she and Jeremy spent time researching different interest rates and loan programs we could qualify for, which just felt very "above and beyond." We did ultimately get the best rate and package from Trident, and I was consistently blown away by how responsive, responsible, patient and kind Laura was as we moved through the process. I was absolutely caught off guard by how much paperwork and back-and-forth was involved in getting a mortgage (SO MUCH. Seriously.) and Laura answered all our questions quickly, professionally, and most importantly, thoroughly - I never felt like I was annoying her, even though I was nervous I was annoying her (sorry, Laura!). At one point, I actually told my mom how pleasant our mortgage process was, and she laughed and said, "No one says that about their mortgage broker!"
