She was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. When I first walked into her office I felt extremely overwhelmed with the process of keeping my business's finical information organized, but I left feeling confident and reassured that everything was in the best hands possible.

Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.

I would give this fund less than a 1 star if possible. Companies that are dishonest in the small…read morethings are dishonest in the large things. I've had some of their funds in an IRA (all bad). But 1 particularly bad fund was in a regular account. After having it in for almost 13 years it still has less money in it that initially invested. For over a decade it has been under $1000. In all that time I had never been assessed a fee for having too little money in the account (their fault as well). So, out of the blue - and with NO warning, they slap on a fee for having too little money in it. They say it's in the prospective but that they have a right to waive it. So NOW, they slap it on after not doing so for a decade - but NOW cannot waive it??? All they're doing is taking advantage of investors. It's a way to place their losses on the back on lower income investors. I was happy to take my money out of their company but all they had to do was tell me before slapping on this fee. Stay away from dishonest companies such as this one - especially when it's about them handling your money.
