I went in for a tooth extraction, which I was dreading since I'm usually terrified of dental work. The staff numbed me so well that by the time Dr. Kim gave the injection, I barely felt it. He explained everything clearly, gave the least painful shots I've ever had, and within minutes the tooth was out--quick and painless. This was the best dental experience I've ever had. I'll be coming back to this office for the rest of my life.

The front receptionist was very rude to my husband and I all because of a misunderstanding. She had…read morecalled my husband the day before trying to move his appointment time but he had no reception due to his job location. They sent a text asking if he wanted to move the appointment time and he responded yes, but the automated text was not clear that it was rescheduled. There was no confirmation, only a text that said something along the lines of sorry, our office cannot respond, please call the office. My husband called the office 6 times prior to the appointment but no answer. We showed up at the original appointment time to be met with a very upset receptionist who threatened to report my husband to his job, which could cause serious financial punishment. When my husband said he called the office multiple times she said that the lines had been open all day and then asked what time did he call. My husband said he called around 12:30 or 1pm which she then responded with "well that's our lunch time". She then said that the appointment would have to be rescheduled for another day. I asked her "how is he supposed to know the time you are at lunch, that is not his fault" and she responded very rudely and with an attitude that "everyone takes lunch at that time". That was very unprofessional and unnecessary to say because no, not everyone takes lunch at that time. Different offices and places have different lunches. Nonetheless, the entire situation was a misunderstanding, both parties were at fault. We were very nice and respectful but she was not. The nurse and doctor that did my husband's surgery were amazing. That good experience with them was ruined by a receptionist was very passive aggressive. My husband even apologized to her before his surgery. We were referred from the navy base to this location. Neither of us deserved to be talked to rudely over a misunderstanding. This was horrible especially before a surgery.

One nurse seemed pleasant and professional, and one was a total opposite. My son had never been under anesthesia and was slow to recover. As he regained consciousness, he began to jabber on a little loud. The mean nurse came in and yelled at him to keep it down and accused him of impacting office staff. Not five minutes later, she had him in a wheelchair and out the door. She stood behind the wheelchair and offered no assistance getting him out of the chair and into my truck. I feel that he was taken out of recovery far too soon as he could barely walk even with assistance. When I picked up his prescription the next day, I found that he was prescribed antibiotics that he has allergic reactions to. They were given that information both in writing and verbally prior to the surgery, and yet still, the prescription was written. It would have been addressed in recovery if we had received any post procedure instructions, but there were absolutely none given. To be fair, I feel it necessary to point out that a single individual caused all the negativity that we experienced. Regardless, we will seek professional dental help elsewhere in the future.

It's across from Sinclair Gas Station and Hanford High School. Parking is limited to staff so your best bet is to park along the side street or in front of residence which is only a few walking distance from the office. The office and and waiting room is quite limited and small so it's best to contact the office for schedule appointments visits. Usually I don't have a pleasant experience at the Dentist, but Doctor Tran is quite skilled with her hands and perform real well with my teeth cleaning, and Cavity Filling. Her staff, Dental Hygienist was also great with her skills. My wife and I been commuting out of the area to Visalia for Dental services. We can officially say Doctor Tran Family Dentistry will be our go to office for Dental visit. My appointment was at 9am and I was in and out of the office by 45 minutes. Service was definitely great can't wait to come back for 6 months check up! I recommend this dental office if you're looking for great service!

Sometimes the wait to get back to the exam rooms are quite some time , but I also realize that we are not the only patients . I went to one facility on…read more11th avenue and they couldn't do most of the work I needed done so they sent me to the one on Lacey but Lacey had no provider for a while so I wasn't able to get much done. I got a couple things done and went back to the one on 11th and they told me they couldn't see me due to Insurance not wanting to cover the treatment if I had been seen at a different location, which made no sense because I've been seen at that facility before I had ever been to the other one. Then I was also told by the facility on 11th that the Lacey facility is only open on Saturdays and this was after a while of it not being open at all according to them. Not to mention when I was going to the one on Lacey, there was more than one occasion where I had an appointment and they were closed. I called to make an appointment for Saturday because I was told they're open Saturday and they made me appointment for Tuesday and said they don't know why they told me that they were only open on Saturday because they are open 5 days a week. I told them the things that I needed done and I wasn't sure if I needed an exam or not since it was taking so long just to get seen again. The way they scheduled It was for an exam, even though I had told them I needed a cleaning too, and the exam was questionable. Next I get a message saying they canceled my appointment and called me and told me that I couldn't be seen for an exam because I didn't need one and they weren't gonna be able to do anything else either. I spoke to management to resolve the issue of the back-and-forth and got a text message with a new appointment so I'm thinking everything is fine at this point and so I go to the appointment and again they can't see me because it's for an exam. I spoke to the manager there who informed me that the appointment was made by corporate ... imagine that even the corporate office is incompetent. I literally was complaining about this very issue and they still scheduled me for an exam.. Zero out of 10 stars, I would not recommend anybody go to this place unless you wanna waste a lot of your time. This is on top of another incident where my son went to this dental place and they said he was scheduled for one thing when I told the operator something else which was also an issue, but they did manage to get him in that day because I was I was questioning why they couldn't see him. They did a temporary filling that came off the very next day and I just had to bring him back and then when I brought him back, they tried to have him go home and say that they don't have time for a permanent feeling when that was literally why I was there and what the appointment was for. If I could give negative stars, I would.
