I did a quick search and GA Barbershop popped up first--only 950 feet from my hotel. I gave them a call, asked if they were busy and if I could come in. "No problem," they said. When I got there, I met the owner, waited maybe two minutes, and then Moe called me over to his chair. From start to finish--what an awesome experience. The haircut, beard trim, and straight razor shave were all top-notch. If you're looking for a barbershop in the area, this is the place to go. The barber simply cut off almost all of my hair length, even though I clearly said I only wanted a very small trim. The whole time, she was chewing gum loudly with her mouth open right next to my ear, which was very uncomfortable. She handled my hair quite roughly, and in every movement it felt like she didn't care about what she was doing at all. There was no attention to detail or effort. At times, it even seemed like she was just pretending to work -- picking up tools and bringing them close to my head without actually doing anything meaningful. The final result is uneven and completely different from what I requested. I've had many bad and strange experiences at barbershops before, but this is the first time I've felt the need to leave a review.

I accidentally shaved part of my hair and left myself a bad looking bald spot before an important event. I popped into the Dedham location right at closing time, desperate for any help I could get. Justin immediately agreed to help and he didn't complain that it was already 6pm. He was friendly and accommodating and did an amazing job blending in the spot I gave myself. To my surprise, he wouldn't even accept money when I tried to pay! He got me out of a serious pinch, and I couldn't be more grateful. Please give this place a shot if you're on the fence.
