Worst camp management I've ever experienced. I think that blackhearted woman used to work at the DMV and decided she wants to ruin people's vacations instead. Everything was a conflict. Forced to pay extra for a tent site pre reserved since August, I was the second adult. Snapped that "we can't have all that stuff" on one site. Rules conflicted 2-4 being acceptable. We were both car camping... I asked questions to extend the reservation, she told me I can't stay if I don't pay... um that was the entire point in communicating. The site, #22, had no power, closest it got to electricity was being "charged" for it. Wouldn't even kick down firewood or ice as a consolation. Bathrooms were closed all over, but lights left on. Showers were cold. Any basic communication was responded to negatively. She declared her own reality and was intolerant of dissent. Seems 2.1 stars is not low enough, her management is a race to the bottom of ratings. I could go on and on, but this should suffice to sum up the rudeness, ripoffs, and wretchedness. read more

AMAZING Campground! My favorite in New Hampshire! It turns into an especially magical place during PorcFest where hundreds of liberty-oriented entrepreneurs create a temporary village for one week with pop up restaurants, cafes, unique vending, talks, and events. The liberty movement wouldn't be as strong as it is in New Hampshire without PorcFest and Crosby and the team have done more to further Liberty in New Hampshire than most of the attendees! Place is a complete dump. The area is beautiful, but this camp is falling apart. The management stinks. Electrical issues everywhere. They ran out of water, shut bathrooms down. To top it off my wife got shocked in the shower. It's unsafe! Stay at KOA or any other campground in the area. Avoid this place, but visit the general area because it is beautiful. read more

TOTALLY FRAUDULENT WEBSITE - DO NOT STAY HERE The pictures and website is a fraud. The amenities are non-existent. The mini golf and waterslide are closed and have been for years. They are in total disrepair. The adult pool was closed and green with algae. The kid pool, 3 feet deep with no railing on the steps, was closed on Saturday but finally opened on Sunday. I almost fell walking down the steps. Kids are allowed to go to the pool unsupervised because "their mom works there". They are out of control with their diving and jumping in continuously to make the biggest splash that you can't enjoy the pool at all. People were complaining because their sight was not mowed when they arrived. We saw numerous electrical boxes hanging and hazardous on numerous sights. You had to pay for wifi and it was still spotty. The restrooms/showers were so disgusting that I refused to use them. Many of the bathrooms did not even have toilet paper in them. Water was running down the walls and everything was wet including the toilet paper which made it impossible to get any if you tried. I was told by area businesses that the owner just doesn't care any more and doesn't want to fix anything. His son has no interest in taking over the business so all the owner is doing is collecting money. The workers make excuses saying "there was a group the week before that destroyed things and broke windows" but that is all a lie. The fact is that this place became uninhabitable about 10 years ago and that is why the owner does not allow the city to inspect it. If the city came in they would shut them down as unsafe and hazardous to your health. I will never go here again as there are so many other beautiful camping areas around there that don't falsely advertise and mislead the public. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. It wouldn't be worth it if it was free. read more

Too bad this place isn't kept up. The scenery is superb! The electrical in the campground is outdated and a lot of campsites the electric just doesn't work! We had to move three times before we found a site that worked. The office was no help whatsoever. The main road through the campground has been significantly compromised. I have gone to Roger's since I was a little kid, I wasn't impressed to see how things haven't changed at all but prices sure have! $5 a person to visit someone camping there, that's just not right. We stayed at the motel for the first time and let me tell you NEVER AGAIN! I did take photos of the black mold in the bathroom, the stains on the rugs, and the stains on the white sheets if you call them sheets as they are so old and stretched out. The old uncomfortable mattress and old wood cheap bed frames. Even the lamps are the original ones there. They only have double beds and twin beds, the bedding is original as well which smells and they are falling apart. Nothing about this place is warm and cozy and the MOLD yeah I'm about to report them to someone and get this place shut down it's horrible do not waste your money staying there. read more

Review is based on staying in the hotel. Campground looks pretty good, though. Hotel is old, dingy, dirty. Advertised as having Wifi, but no. Bring a cooler, the rooms don't have fridges. They give you 2 bags of ice a day, but they are small bags, about a quart sized. We were in the first floor and could hear every footstep above. There for 3 nights, got clean towels every day but nothing cleaned. Pool is nice, new liner. They have a kiddy pool 3' deep. The mini golf course is old and beat, a good place to get tetanus. What a hole! Paid and went to what clerk said was one of their better rooms. When we opened the door, you could see visible, large stains on the carpet and it smelled like mold so bad that you could not take a breath. Worst place I have ever camped! The only positive I can say about this place is the price, but even then I feel jipped. Our tent site was located on a hill next to a large, ugly water storage tank that made noise all night. The site was a complete hill and we slid down the tent while we were sleeping. The grass is incredibly, incredibly overgrown and attracts copious amount of bugs. I watched the cleaning girl clean the bathroom every morning- took her no more than 5-10 minutes to do men AND womens- how clean can it be? All the equipment is old and worn. There was a building that burned down that is just sitting there like an eyesore. I wish we had done more research before booking here. Would NEVER return!!! read more

Awful! Not even sure where to start.. the hotel was dated to the max, and that wasn't even the worst of it! Smelled like mold and also the beds were like sleeping on the ground with a sheet. Now onto the pool.. why would a pool close at 8pm?! The kids don't have to be back to the camp sight until 9, but the pool closes at 8?! Can't speak to the campground, we stayed in the motel. We occupied two rooms on the ground level. The view is awesome of the mountains. The rooms are sub-par. You are hit with the musty smell as soon as you walk in. They try to cover the smell up by placing a car vent freshener on the air conditioning vents. The carpet is stained. There is no dresser, no refrigerator, no blow- dryer, no clock. The TV's are very old. The bathrooms have water stains on the ceiling. The chairs on the balcony are plastic and several are broken and cracked, sit with caution. The weekend we were there one pool, the hot tub and water slide were closed. The mini golf is only available three hours a day. The outside light by our door was broke and had a big piece of glass missing, it flashed on and off. The mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. And these rooms are not cheap to rent. I would expect better accommodations. We will not stay here again. read more

This review is based on my MOTEL stay. Although the grounds and views are lovely .. the outdated, dingy and musty rooms are one of the worst I've experienced. The mattresses look as if they've NEVER been replaced; stained and dirty .. Very visible and gross. The carpet is almost as bad. The one window in the room does not open, leaving a musty and stale scent in the room. Open the door you say? Well, your room will be full of flies, bees and mosquitos :-/ This motel has so much potential, if the owners only put up a few dollars for renovations. With that being said .. I believe the rate charged for a room is appalling. It's clear that a vast majority of guests are campers. I also can't get over the policies at Rogers Campground. When you book a room, your card is immediately charged! (It's a FULL deposit, regardless the time frame and whether or not your plans remain the same) You will be charged $25 if there's a cancellation before 30 days. After that, you will NOT BE REFUNDED. (Most places give a 24-48 hour window) Also, the office closes at 8 I believe. (No mention of that anywhere that I read when booking or looking at the websites rules and policies) If you show up any time later than that ("a late check in") you're on your own .. And will be charged for that room. We experienced this first hand as an SUV stopped us a little before 11pm, asking for help seeing that they just arrived to a locked office and no one would answer the calls they were making to contact someone! I'm not sure of the end result, but they probably ended up at the much nicer hotel/motel down the street (Cabot Inn) Lastly .. A mention of Wifi? There IS a charge, and you need to go ahead and log in yourself from your own device .. Or sign up at the time of booking. Keep in mind, the signal almost isn't even worth it. Again, this place looks fun for campers .. The motel will most likely leave you disappointed. read more

Upon entering the room, we noticed that it smelled old and musty, covered by air freshener (which we noticed a few minutes later was a febreze car air freshener clipped onto the AC vent to cover the smell). Very small, old tube TV on a shelf in the corner of the room - volume was wonky...it could either be VERY loud, or VERY quiet. There was a booger and a squished mosquito on the wall of the bathroom sink area (immediately visible, not sure how housekeeping could have missed it). The shower head came up to my husband's chest. No cell/tablet service, no available wifi. They claim to have wifi for purchase, but they claim they dont have anything to do with it, you should be able to access and pay for it through your device. Not one of the four of us could get connected or to a payment screen on any of our devices. BEDS ARE HARD AS ROCKS. Hot tub, 1 pool, and the water slide were out of order. Mini golf only available for 3 hours a day during the hottest part of the day. Broken outdoor chairs, super cramped parking....just awful all the way around. Couldn't get hot water in the shower or faucets for 12+ hours (not sure how long that lasted but we left before it was fixed. Don't do it, don't even consider this place. I won't even give this place a star! As a kid we used to go to Rogers Campground for years, and then as I became an Adult my parents were Seasonal's there when not in Florida as they both grew up in NH. The scenery is absolutely beautiful but that is it! The place is SO run down, since the original owner sold quite a few years back and the new owner Crosby took over. He does not invest any money into the place, it is dirty, disgusting, there was a fire Memorial weekend in one of its Halls and when were were there for a wedding weekend August 9-11 the wreckage was all still there, the charred building with its roof caving in, the jacuzzi with boards over part of it with nails sticking out of it and some holes in the concrete by the pool which had a piece of board over it. The first thing you see when driving in. We stayed at the Motel which the toilet was still dirty when we checked in, the sheets had stains on them, the rugs were not to clean, 1 roll of toilet paper for the weekend, no table in the rooms, 19 inch old TV's no instructions on the rules and reg's and to inform you that every light outside goes off at 11:00 p.m. including the big lighted sign so if you are not back at the motel room by then good luck trying to find your way. A family members room smelled very musty and when we complained about it at the office they did not seem to care or were accommodating. When we asked if Maintenance could check it they said they were not around and didn't know if they would be the next day or not! We asked if the water slide was operating and they did not have an answer nor knew if it would be open the following day! They let the mini golf and basket ball hoops overgrow with the grass. They have an automatic lock on the game room that closes by 11:00 pm and they don't check to see if anyone is in there before it closes they just close it and my nephew was inside and tried yelling to hold up only for the owner to come and yell get the hell out of there you have been in there long enough! Our family used the Pavilion for their awesome wedding but the bathrooms were so disgusting as it was and they didn't even try to clean them for their guest but was sure to charge for their services! There is no supervision, the store is not stocked with very much if you are in need. There was a day that 1 of the camping guest was trying to get through the gate and was flagging down the staff in the office only for the young girl to come out and start using the f- word left in right for not having their sticker in the right place and the woman was appalled! It was such a memorable wedding but also was the experience on how they take care of the place, it took all the childhood memories we had of this place and ruined them! Please if you are looking for a decent place to camp and want cleanliness and things to do, this is not the place, they do not care about their customers or care if you are happy! This place used to be busy, it was lucky if it was 1/4 full in the Summer and now we know why! Honestly just for the debris that was left behind from the fire is enough you would think the Town would have them shut down or fix the place up! read more
