Message left for LUE tree service was promptly returned and Luis arrived on time for the appointment to give an estimate. I like the father-son team, Roberto and Mondo. They've done some good work for me in the past. But…read moreon this job, their workers were careless and reckless. My brother and I planted these trees over 25 years ago. They trimmed them to 9 ft. Okay. But they broke a beloved, irreplaceable statue and didn't tell me. They broke a wooden rocking chair and didn't tell me. They broke the TV/internet cable and didn't tell me. They broke a Camilla plant as well. All of this I discovered on my own. Granted, they compensated me $150 for the statue and chair, repaired the wire, too, but I'd rather have my things back, which were broken needlessly, and the unique statue cannot be replaced. I also had vines growing into the wires in the alley. They did a good job, but they also cut some wires, which they left hanging in the alley in front of a neighbor's garage, and didn't tell me about it. They came back and fixed it. The worst thing is the large limb they severed that ran parallel to the wall, shielding and shading my view of the house next door. It provided shelter and shade for the birdbath and the hummingbirds that nest in it every year. They had no business cutting that and should have asked me. It's far below the 9 ft. limit, and now I feel sick when I look out the window and see the amputated limb, lack of shade and shelter, and the house next door with all its wires, dish, lights, and windows. I feel like I've lost a friend. I have photos of hummingbird eggs. They'll never come back. And I'll never hire this company again.
