However, that was the beginning of a year of headaches and runarounds. First of all, the unit they put in was entirely too big for the house (a 4 ton unit for a 1500 sq ft house). This was admitted by the techs when we called them out to address the extreme humidity in the house (80%+ humidity with the AC on), which was caused by having an oversized and overpowered unit. So we were given a unit completely inappropriate to what we needed, and charged more for it. This caused us headaches throughout the year. Fast forward to this winter, and we are having more issues with this year old furnace. We had to call them out twice in the course of a week to do repairs, at least one of those because the furnace froze up due to no one having thought of running a vent down to the cellar. We've ended up paying what is likely thousands of dollars more than is necessary stemming from this brand new unit which has given us far more grief than our previous unit ever did prior to it going out. Maybe my situation was unique, because I see all the positive reviews otherwise. However, if I were to recommend anyone to a friend, I would not recommend All Klear anymore. They've lost my confidence entirely.

They also left all the floor ducts…read moreclosed so that my A-C was working very hard to cool my home until I discovered the next evening why I was no comfortable .... when I noticed a closed duct and then checking all of them, found that they were all closed. . I also found sawdust around one duct that they had mentioned was full of sawdust. They moved furniture and objects and did not return them to their original place. When I called to complain to the manager who was on vacation and who did not return my call when he returned. When I finally reached him, he apologized and offered to do the job again. ????? They had already been cleaned, why would I want it done again???? He had lots of excuses for why .... Should you choose to use them, be sure to check everything before they leave as they cannot be trusted to complete a task correctly.

I purchased a 60 year old house in Springfield that hasn't had the air ducts cleaned in probably…read moreahem, 60 years. I mean they were nasty. On top of that there was a problem with mold under the house. Once I had that remediated Enviro-Air came out and got to work on the ducts. The job they did was amazing. It took them several hours and they were thorough both before and after the job as they cleaned up after themselves. They took plenty of before and after pictures of the ducts to show what they accomplished and it's a night and day difference in what the ducts looked like. To think we were breathing all of that stuff in. Yikes! I suffer terrible allergies as well, so all that dust couldn't have been good for them. People usually don't think about general home maintenance on things they don't see, such as water heaters and air ducts, but don't neglect these things because you'll be sorry if you do and the piece of mind you will have knowing you are sleeping in a safe environment is priceless!
