Quarterdeck runs 7 marinas in the area. They are sinking a lot of money into the property and brining it back. They are renovating the docks, the former restaurant, the dry stacks and the other buildings on the property. The General Manager is always on the property and always willing to speak with anyone who needs information or has a concern about their boat. It's going to take a while, but Dolphin Cove is going to get a very needed renovation. At $20 a foot, I think their Dry Stack prices are the best in the area.

Our group consisted of 11 family members, all over 21, and two disabled. Dave has been so welcoming to our crazy family and helped us catch an 80lb fine toothed shark this time. He said it was the biggest for the boat this year! I really can't recommend Dave and the Finatic any more highly, it's a great excursion with tons of dolphin sightings too!

4th of July Pre booked online…read more So hubby is so excited with living here that he arranges for us to go out on a two person boat. Being it is a holiday we get there early and have breakfast within walking distance so we can get parking. Must have been our lucky day as we got the best parking space in the lot. We were instructed to arrive 45 minutes before the tour. Since we were there and checked in early as was the other group of six we left actually a few minutes early. The weather was perfect and we had on plenty of sunscreen. JD led the boats to different spots on the island so that we were able to see Dolphins. I was surprised that in the middle of the day that we were able to see so many. JD was kind and took pictures and sent them to everyone through What's App. What a great way to spend the day as well learn the island. The entire length of the trip was 2 1/2 hours. Definitely a must do on anyone visiting the Island. Just be warned you will get wet so plan accordingly. You are given a small cooler with ice and bottle waters

She covered the explorers' period of discovery and colonization from Spain, France and England. then the plantation era, slavery, emancipation, and on to the present. On his day, there were 12 of us; once on the island, we explored the undeveloped side of Daufuskie. The tour of about two hours was extremely interesting. We live on Hilton Head Island but had never visited our neighbor barrier Island. We would recommend this tour to everyone. well worth the cost.

Forget about how fun the boats alone are...Bailey gave us clear instructions on use and made sure that even our youngest driver was comfortable on the water. Beyond that, Bailey made sure to point out different wildlife, track dolphins with us, tour the island highlights and took SO many great photos that he shared after our day. Please thank Bailey and keep up the FUN. This is such a great activity for literally all ages!

Took the family out for a morning of fun on the Catamarans. It's was an absolute blast!…read moreRight out of the Marina we saw dolphin. Then we went into the low country...it was beautiful and plenty to see. Got to see a huge eagles nest and the eagles were flying high and hunting. The Catamarans had 30hp on them and they scooted across the flat water all in a very safe and comfortable fashion. We had Ben as a guide and he was very good and made a solid point to stop and speak about the areas we were exploring. He stopped at Dolphin Head Beach which was fine..but I would have preferred to spend that time cruising in the water. It's a well run organization that knows the area. I will Plan on doing this trip again when we return.

Many egret, pink spoonbills , a herons. Wonderful seeing islands and homes not visible from roadways. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
