Food is good here, a little heavy on the salt, (meat was hella salty) I ordered the asada plate, then I ordered a veggie burrito to go and also some potato flautas, these were not overe salted. This was my second time here, I'll definitely be coming back for the veggie dishes.

Overall food was great!!! Lots of flavor and both red and green salsa were a great addition. Tacos came with raw onion and wished I would not done that because they gave me grilled onion on the side which would have probably been better. Nachos were by far the highlight. The chips stayed crunchy until the last bit which is the point of nachos, right?!? Supreme burrito had to weight 3-4 lbs and again full of flavor. I will definitely be back!!

Although this quaint, family-owned taqueria is a relative newcomer, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots to enjoy a Saturday brunch. The food is delicious, freshly made, and inexpensive. The menu is small but stellar, highlighted by their menudo, which is served with fresh handmade tortillas, quesobirria tacos, chilaquiles, burritos, and salsas made in-house. Birria is their signature dish and some of the tastiest in town. They also have daily and weekend specials. Currently, they are serving a chilaquiles burrito, a shrimp burrito, and a fish taco. The shrimp burrito and fish taco are served with a housemade chipotle sauce. I tried the shrimp burrito, which features plump, juicy shrimp, flavored rice, cheese, pico de Gallo, shredded cabbage, and creamy chipotle. The burrito was delicious and stuffed with shrimp. The menudo (traditional Mexican soup made with beef tripe), which is served on weekends only, is filled with tender tripe, has a deeply flavored broth, and is delicately balanced. And it is served with freshly made flour tortillas. The meat toppings I tried were consistently well-seasoned, plump, and juicy. They include carne asada (beef steak), al pastor (Shepherd-style pork), carnitas (braised pork), buche (pork stomach lining), and birria de res (stewed beef). The savory, tender birria is easily my favorite meat dish. It is infused with chilis and other spices, giving it a rich flavor and wonderful aroma. The broth is amazing. They provide a small cup of the consommé to dip the birria in. Overall, the food is 4.5 in my books. The guys who take your orders at the counter and bring you the food are very friendly and warmly greet you when you walk in. They appreciate seeing you enjoying their dishes, as indicated by the wide smiles on their faces. They will also periodically check on you if you like the food or need anything else. Rojas Bros. offers friendly service, reasonably priced, delicious dishes highlighted by their freshly handmade tortillas and salsas, and some of the best birria north of HWY 180.

Solid spot for some yummy food. Not too busy. With a liquor store directly next-door you may want to park away from where those visitors are mainly parking.... This is a humble spot, putting out some really good food. The service was friendly, look you in the eye and generous. The menu is fairly extensive and the prices are reasonable. Being my first time here, I sampled the taco with Carnitas and a super burrito with Carne Asada. The Carnitas was seasoned perfectly and quite tasty... the super burrito was tastier than most.. It seemed well appointed with a good ratio between filling and rice. Don't you just hate it when you go to a place and order a burrito and it's 90% rice? I never returned to those locations... so, happy to report a nice mix of flavors, textures, and elements in this large burrito. You could just plunk it down on end and eat it from above, without your hands! Worked for me. lol Today, by some miracle that rarely occurs, I took half of it home to eat a bit later. The restaurant has enough tables to eat inside and his room in this regard .. The seating is good in the music is not too loud. Thankfully! Seemed like some decent hard-working folks here and I wish them well. Thank you, Lord, always for your bounty, for the resources you've provided and even the good people who make these things possible! Keep up the good work! -G

Try this place for the first time today on my lunch break and I love it! Tacos were so good and the rice and beans were bomb!! This will definitely be my go to place from now on.

I went at around 11:30 on Monday it was pretty empty. The lady at the counter was super sweet and got my food pretty quick. Overall, everything was pretty good and I would go back.

Rojas Bros serves up delicious Mexican food without skimping out on the meat portions! We often leave a restaurant satisfied with the flavors but disappointed with the ever decreasing meat portions. I'm sure this is a way that restaurants are balancing the rising cost of food. But there was no dissatisfaction with Rojas Bros! We ordered the Queso Birria tacos, Masa quesadilla, Birria torta, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and Carne asada torta. Each dish was flavor packed and filling! We ordered 4 bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and each varied in spice level from medium heat to SPICY so make sure you are okay with heat if ordering as there is no way to ensure heat level. I was especially delighted with trying a masa quesadilla (dough was fried instead of cooked on comal) for the first time...so good! Plenty of parking and indoor seating. Service was not only friendly and efficient but when my husband asked if chips and salsa came with the order, the individual serving us went beyond simply saying no, and whipped up a fresh batch of chips, with salsa...true Mexican hospitality! We look forward to retuning soon!

First time here. I ordered the cucumber agua fresca and the asada Doritos nacho. Both were amazing, fresh and delicious. I was given them green and red sauce bottles on the side for the asada Doritos nacho, however, the asada Doritos nachos tasted extremely well without it. The sauce was a nice addition in flavor, but I ate more than half the dish without it. Overall a great experience, great service, nice place/ambiance, and the meals I ordered were a 5 out of 5. I was a bit taken back by this. Will definitely return to try more.

I have been on a birria kick lately--just had a solid birria torta in WA on New Year's Eve. I showed up here to scratch that itch, and found that they also have birria quesadillas. Solid recommendation! I decided I'd be back before I'd even picked up a piece--biting into just confirmed it!

The food here is fantastic! Service was great and food came out fresh/hot! We ordered a breakfast burrito with carnitas, a power bowl with carnitas and asada fries. They bring bottles of red and green salsa which are both delicious. Red is smoky and has a roasted chile flavor while the green is citrusy and has a deep umami flavor! Green salsa is our favorite and a must try! Don't sleep on the power bowl, lighter than a burrito and tasted great especially on a hot day! This place is well worth a visit and we are definitely going back!

Everything we had was the BEST!!! We will be back. It's small like a mom & pops restaurant.

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!

Not that that matters to me... some of the best foods I've ever had are in the most unexpected places. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. The girl behind the counter greeted us right away, very friendly. We got to sample a couple of their Agua Frescas before making our decisions as well. I got 3 different tacos: Asada, Cabeza, and Tripa (extra crispy). He got all Asada. We weren't huge fans of their Asada. We both agreed it felt/looked/tasted more like ground beef... wasn't cooked how we'd like. Asada was in last place for me. Cabeza was good, came in second. The Tripa was my favorite. Very good. My friend got Lengua and Adobada-- pretty sure she enjoyed hers. For the drink, we agreed on the Cucumber one-- it was very refreshing/yummy. We also sampled the Horchata. It was good but slightly too sweet for me. It's not very big inside but there's still a good amount of tables for guests to sit at. 8-10? More or less. They keep the tables clean... but, there are a lot of flies buzzing around the windows. We had to battle with one very persistent/pesky fly trying to get our food. It's a shame because that definitely docks a point, sorry. Tacos were good, not the best I've ever had though. I know Asada may be a basic meat choice but we've had some damn good Asada... they missed the mark. Also, I hope they find a way to resolve the fly issue. With that said-- I've gotta put them in the middle.
