Sent hubby for tacos. Hard to find a place on Sunday evening a lot of our usuals were closed. Found this in yelp. Husband didn't like that people were not wearing masks in the area. Brought home 4 different kinds of tacos. Pastor - good flavor Cabeza - a bit bland but good with salsa Tripa - fatty lol Asada - classic. It was a bit lukewarm though. Overall less salty than the average taco truck I've had. The green salsa is milder than average and the red is hotter. Overall not a bad option to satisfy a craving.

What can I say the neighborhood taco truck is the bomb!! The tacos are so good my favorite is the Al Pastor the condiments are always fresh the salsa is fresh and tasty the orange salsa has got a kick!! So yummy!! I got the Al Pastor tacos this time I was late 11:40pm on a Sunday and they just ran out of cabbage so I ate it without, delicious!

After coming here several more times and checking out other local taco trucks, I gotta say, these tacos have grown on me. The tacos are pretty big and they don't skimp on the meat. My favorite salsa is the light orange one, it has great flavor and medium heat. I also like that you can put as much or as little toppings as you want. My only complaint is that they're closed on Taco Tuesday lol

Up here for business, happy I found them coming from someone from Orange County California AKA Taco County...bomb

Very impress, outstanding tacos!! I live in orange county California, I can tell you their tacos are better then most taco trunk in OC cali...

Their habanero salsa is absolute fire! Delicious tacos. The burritos hold up well too if you want extra for leftover.

Asada wasn't too bad. Tripa had a weird smoke flavor. But I already received my order within 3 minutes of getting there, so that was a plus

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

However, El Premio Mayor comes in as less expensive, and tastier than Chipotle. The burrito was moist but it held up well inside the tortilla. The asada was okay, and the flavor didn't dominate. The green salsa had no spice to it, so that is that. We appreciated the food. The only negative is the parking lot at the McKinley location. Too few parking spaces, but hey, if you don't mind a short hike there is huge parking in the shopping center across the canal. We will go back.

There were several people waiting for their food, which is usually a great sign. Ordering was simple and straightforward. I got two al pastor tacos, one lengua, and one cabeza -- all with everything on them. The service was impressively fast; I had my tacos in about 10 minutes. They gave me hot sauce and lemon on the side, which complemented the tacos really well. Out of the four, the al pastor and lengua were my favorites. The meat was nicely crispy, well-seasoned, and generously loaded into each taco. It's located next to a gas station, so parking is limited and there aren't any tables. It's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot rather than somewhere you sit and hang out. I'm still really glad I made the stop to try this place. If I'm ever passing through Fresno again, I'd definitely come back.

They've definitely updated their truck but there aren't any tables around to sit at. Location is a lot farther than I'd like but it has more space than the previous spot they parked at for sure. My boyfriend has been going to this man for years so he's the one that introduced me to this truck back then. Nice taco man and I believe his wife works it with him and she was very friendly too, taking our orders. Didn't speak to the man this time around though, since he was busy making a bunch of taco orders (long wait). I'm sorry to say but it wasn't as amazing as I remember when I first tried it. Not to say it wasn't good... but it wasn't the best. I got two Asada tacos (decent) and one Chicharron taco (big mistake)-- it was not good at all. I couldn't even finish it. I can't explain the taste but it's not what I expected. I wanted Tripa but they didn't have any (boo). What they've definitely got going for them right now that can't be beat? Their prices! You don't see tacos under $4, let alone $3, much anymore. But-- it is CASH ONLY. Remember that before making the drive. My ranking may be more based off past experiences but I have to keep the current feels into consideration as well. I like them but this last visit left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll have to stick them in the middle for now until I come back and try it again.
