And take note, this clinic doesn't discourage patient/client to come in even when you are sick. So, if you visit this clinic and got sick, more likely someone was contagious and you got the virus from someone in the clinic. Here's my experience. I had a massage appointment on Monday, December 4, 2023. Sunday the night before, I got very sick with high fever (103-104 F), chills and body aches. Of course there was no way I could've cancelled it within 24 hours. So, I called the clinic on Monday (day of my appt) to cancel explaining I am very sick and have all these symptoms. The office manager/receptionist said she would cancel, without mentioning I would be charged a $90 fee, which is $31 higher than the insurance allowable amount! I reached out to the clinic via and requested a copy of my signed agreement regarding the cancellation fee and also said I have proof from my doctor that I was very ill (I went to see my doctor on Tuesday). They didn't send it and instead, the owner (Leshaw) replied "On December 1st we raised the no show fee from $50 to $90 and posted it at the front desk. We are not required to have patients sign a document when we raise rates or fees." The office manager who I spoke to, didn't have the decency to tell me they increased their cancellation fee to $90 as of December 1st nor told me she can cancel my appt but I will be charged the fee. How in the world would I know that if I have never been in the clinic since December 1st? I thought I was doing them a favor for not coming in. I didn't want to be responsible for getting anyone sick if I had come in. But the office manager clearly stated that they can't tell anyone to come if they are sick nor they will turn anyone away for coming in sick. What kind of healthy care facility would do this? They obviously don't care about the well-being of their staff nor their patients/clients. The worse part is, my insurance would've paid them $59 if I went. But instead, I paid $90 out of pocket. I've never missed appointments and even referred my husband to them. I called around and other clinics would only charge $25 for first missed appointments. There are many good chiropractors in the area. Don't waste your time on this one.

(I actually had that appointment penciled in!) Not a word. I agree, I should follow up as well, but I have had a devastating month and have failed to "follow up" on a few things. If someone is going to be making suggestions as to best treat my spine, I want to get not only 2, but 3 opinions! The other is lined up just fine, completely different facility. They called me right away. Now it will be months before I can get into Proliance. It was actually down the same week, two days before the one at the other place. My phone updated and I lost many notifications and appointments, but it was definitely down! Now they have no record of it. Just great.

The biggest plus, honestly, is convenience -- it's very close to my house. Beyond location, the experience really depends on which provider you see. Some have been genuinely impressive, while others appear not to be keeping up with modern techniques. Recently, I had a consultation for shoulder surgery, and the procedure recommended by a Proliance surgeon was later described as "antiquated" by two other surgeons. Even my physical therapist pulled up NIH recommendations to show me how starkly different (and outdated) the proposed approach was. I understand that professionals can have differing opinions, but this was shocking and significantly undermined my confidence in their surgeons as a whole. Additionally, their lack of a modern patient portal is frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable in 2026. They do not use widely adopted systems like MyChart and do not participate in Share Everywhere, which makes it unnecessarily difficult to share medical records with other providers, such as a PCP or specialists for second opinions. It also makes it difficult to ask follow up questions or communicate with your provider. Convenient location aside, the variability in care quality and outdated systems make it hard to recommend Proliance.

It was actually a very good experience, surgical staff very knowledgeable, made me comfortable and answered all my questions. Got to meet with Dr. Beirman prior to surgery, he was full of energy and assured me everything was going to be okay....cool guy!...I was so comfortable I didn't want to go home! I had no pain afterwards, just some swelling and used ice to help. Had absolutely no problems with this surgery. My only bitch was not being able to drive for six weeks, but I had my pins removed today, no problems there and in a week or so I will be able to drive and wear a normal shoe. If you are considering a hammertoe surgery and have done your research you know that this is not a simple operation. I could not be happier with the results. And I want to stress that throughout this long procedure, Dr. Beirman answered all of my questions, didn't sugar coat any of the drawbacks and assured me that some of my fears and hesitations were normal...but walking around in pain was not normal. I am glad I went into this with his help and I'm glad to be on the other side looking back and realizing although this was arduous, I wouldn't be here if he wasn't a complete professional and an excellent doctor.
