I have been to this Goodyear for various services a few times now. Each time, the visit is longer…read morethan expected. I use this auto service shop as I can walk home while my car is serviced. My most recent visit was for an oil change. Nothing fancy. I made an appointment for 11 AM a few days before, dropped the car and walked home like normal. By 1 pm I still didn't hear from them, but I thought they would call any minute. At 2 pm I called to check in. I was told they just put the car up, and it would be another 45 minutes. The gentleman apologized and said they had a lot of appointments for 9 AM and got backed up. Now by 4 pm I still didn't hear back. I dropped my car off 5 hours ago for a standard oil change! I walked over to find my car was parked in the lot (in one of their handicapped spots). I said to the guy at the counter that I see my car is finished but did not get a call. He went to talk to another service rep, who said he tried to call and did not get through. I did not have any missed calls. Anyway, I said 5 hours for an oil change is ridiculous. He apologized and let me know the shop cannot control the appointments that are made on the website, and they had 9 appointments for 9 AM! I doubt they had 9 service techs working! That is bad on corporates end. Clearly they were set up to fail. I was going to only leave 1-2 stars, but the guys offered me a discount on my service. I appreciated the offer and service recovery. However, I don't know if I will return here. Also, other auto shops I previously used for oil changes reported each service to Car Fax. I was not aware of this until I started coming to Goodyear. They do not report to Car Fax, so now I have Car Fax sending me emails once per week about my missing service. Something to consider.

Austin went above and beyond to help me out when the wheel I ordered wasn't even showing a tracking number. Ended up finding one at a nearby store that was brought over. Even though I Was told there would be a three hour wait, Austin said I had waited long enough and bumped me up so I could get back on the road and work on time. Price point was better than I expected, even with all the setbacks and hiccups. I am forever grateful for the service and kindness I was shown.
