Minus one star for the fact that we waited half an hour for the owner's mother, because the owner herself could not be there, and it turned out the mother was there but at the kennel, OUT BACK. Again, let me reiterate that there was no signs AT ALL indicating that the kennel and office itself was separated from the main house. And no, the owner did not mention to me where exactly the location is or the difficulty of finding the place. And speaking of the owner, minus two star for her so called "customer service". She may be good with dogs, but it's the people that is paying for their pet's stay in her place, so maybe she should brush up on her public relations or maybe take a course in customer service because she has the personality of a dull knife. And yes, you don't have to kiss ass or anything extreme to your customers but being nice and knowing how to talk to people nicely, and just be plain approachable will bring more business to her place. Like they say, "When you shoot an arrow of truth, dip its point in honey and you will get a far better results." One star for the actual "suite" my dog stayed at. I don't know how and if he was happy, fed or walked (the owner did not mention any of those things when we picked him up for his one night stay) but at least we picked him up alive and breathing. I called Parkview animal hospital because they had a walk-in clinic and the reviews were high. My labradoodle klondike had an ear infection, it was really bothering him and I really needed to get vet care for my fur baby, but no income to lean on. I spoke to Sarah at the front desk, and she gave me a whole list of places that would have ability to help people that need financial assistance for their pets. I had limited time because of my situation and having to wait for my support group to be able to take me to and from the veterinarian. I called back to Parkview animal hospital and Sarah said to come in and get an estimation of how much it' was going to cost and then can you fill out an application so they could hook me up with Sadie's fund who helps with cases like mine, people that need financial help with fur baby needs. Klondike, my labradoodle is my baby, he's my emotional support animal and I would do anything for him He helps me through so much on a daily basis. I wanted to make him feel better and I finally had hope. My peer support person and myself went to Parkview and Sarah was there, she remembered me, she was super nice and welcoming. The hospital is really clean and big and has lots of toys and food and a TV for nature programs. It is a really friendly and comfy environment. Even though it's a big vet hospital, it feels like a small clinic. Ava gave us an estimate and then submitted my application to Sadie's dog fund, and I was approved later that day. The next day we went back to Parkview, and they did everything that was needed, including giving me meds and drops for his ears, they cleaned his ears and did a cytology. Dr Amy was incredible, super sweet, super nice and informative She was even with my stubborn labradoodle klondike, she confirmed the estimate and made sure I knew how much I would owe once the fund was applied. Klondike wanted to hide under the chair behind my peer support person's legs and Dr Amy and Kennedy gave him some Cheerios and he was good to go. I can't tell you how happy I am and how happy he is now and how much they made a difference on our lives. I was treated with respect, care and understanding, Parkview really cares about your furry family, They are communicative, I had gotten a text before the visit that I was approved for Sadie's dog fund and then also received an email with all the vets instructions for Klondike's care, and our receipt from the visit. We were in a situation where adoption from a humane society or rescue was not panning out (we looked for over a year for the type of dog we needed for our family needs) so we decided to research breeders and puppy adoptions. On a whim we decided to check out the pet doctor as we personally knew a couple of people who knew some of the employees. When you first walk in it does have the feel of the old pet stores you used to see in malls in the 90s with the glass wall and kennels lined against the wall behind the glass with puppies barking and playing, vying for attention from visitors. We spoke to one of be owners upon our arrival and explained our needs. She showed us the last remaining puppy of a recent litter and he was well socialized and healthy. She also explained her experiences with the breed and showed us photos of her own dog of the same breed. She explained the warranty of health and life guarantee. As long as you vet your animal everything seems as expected for purchasing a puppy. We picked him up later in the day as we had other shopping to do around town. Another lady helped us upon pickup and was also friendly and helpful. She provided us with some free food (we also purchased some puppy food) and rubbed some toys we'd purchased on his kennel mate so he would have a familiar scent in his new home. We took him home with validation of health and shot records and he took took to our family immediately. He's potty training well and appears to be in perfect health. He even slept through his first night with minimal whining. The puppies here are not cheap, but not out of line from what people ask on Facebook swap pages or regional newspaper classified ads. Do your research on breeds and average sale prices before making a decision. A puppy of any breed or cost is an investment and you have to be prepared to care for them like a child. We would definitely recommend Pet Doctor to anyone looking for a new puppy for their family.

Thank God I got a second opinion at a cat clinic in Lincoln, they said that her pancreas was infected and she just needed strong antibiotics as well as she might be diabetic. My beautiful cat is still alive today, and it makes me sick to think about how many cats may have been put asleep at this clinic. I'm not blaming the lack of knowledge in feline's because obviously this clinic deals with dogs and farm animals more than cats. Just thankful I got a second opinion from someone with experience. Also, when the second vet called this clinic for additional information about what treatment she received from them, they were slow to respond and did not share much of anything.

I'd actually give it a negative 10 if I could so that someone else's dog won't suffer what happened to my dog...Dogs do have feelings and feel pain! I previously shared my concern with Pet Parlor Owner prior to scheduling an appointment with them, about a previous groomer experience & "Why" I wanted to find a new Groomer. I read tons of reviews, but it only takes 1 groomer to cause terrible problems with you dog, cause horrible anxiety and stress. BEWARE of Pet Parlor. I explained to the new Owner of Pet Parlor: the previous Groomer was not checking or grooming my puppy's ears after I asked them too, as was noted it was on the "List" of grooming areas & duties completed by the Groomer (I tried same previous Groomer 2 times) I ended up taking my dog to our Vet only to learn my dog had an ear infection that required treatment for 2 months. Our Veterinarian ask "why" the dogs ears had not been groomed or cleaned? I tried to clean at home but didn't realize that the hair needed to be removed 1st. The Vet then completed the task herself, before treating our dog for infection, Possible Causes: Unknown too many possibilities at this time (maybe water in his ears, maybe dirt,,,). I explained my conversations with that groomer at my dog's Veterinarian appointment (the groomer has told me why they didn't clean the dogs ears"Too noisy near the dogs ears, to clip the hair") Our Vet suggested I find a new Groomer, so I did, Pet Parlor. I take our dog to Pet Parlor, after waiting weeks, to get him in, believing it's such a good place based on everyone's reviews and THIS HAPPENS: My 11 month old Bernedoodle, who I comb and brush several times a week was shaved! His hair was cut so short his skin shows through. I ask what happened, when I arrived for my appointment the Groomer runs her fingers through my dog's coat and says she will trim it to a 2 or 4 length and he will look like a big "Fluff-Ball" when I pick him up. The Groomer told me I had done pretty well at removing any hair matting. My dogs hair was cut SO SHORT, his bones stuck out. When I ask the Groomer at the Pet Parlor when I picked up the dog, why his hair was so short, her response was: "Don't bring this dog back till you get him neutered or get him some anxiety meds! He wouldn't even let me touch his feet, he hid them underneath his body, I had to keep pulling them out," Hummmm, I thought, that's not like him at all, I've never heard that my dog was so scared or anxious or needed drugs, I wondered why. After I got home I took a good look at him (Straight home from the Pet Parlor) my husband and I realized he had a cut on his testicle...WHAT! then we looked at him more and realized he had been shaved, almost everywhere- WHY? there could not be matted hair in areas where barely any hair initially existed? I ask the Owner, WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DOGS TESTICLE: his response: Oh yeah, sorry I forgot to tell you about that. His testicle got cut in the clippers, but don't worry we used medical grade glue and closed the cut. OH My GOSH!! I called my Vet again about another Groomer. She said unfortunately there are a lot of Groomers, who really don't care about pets, NO Groomer should be using a "medical-Grade" glue on any animal. They very likely, don't know enough about what they are doing as far as infection, cleansing, cut depth, actually closing a wound" I now have more follow-up veterinary care to check out his wound, check for infection, irritations... But to make matter worse, in an area near his testicles which was shaved, we find a live TIC. Obviously from the Pet Parlor, he hadn't been on our dogs body very long, but SHOULD HAVE been noticed by the Groomer if it was there. NOPE, our dog got a tic from the Pet Parlor. When I told the Owner about the tic on our dog after we left his facility, his response was "don't know nothing about a tick problem" REALLY, I just told you? Now I'm watching our dog per the Vet's instructions for Tic health concerns. I will NEVER be returning to the Pet Parlor and I would advise you to use GREAT CAUTION and check you pet for TICS and check out any Health Regulations Required for a Grooming Salon, Especially Pet Parlor. Not even an apology from the Pet Parlor.
