This location has changed ownership several times in recent years, moving from MIA BEER CO to MIA Bruhaus, then Grain and Still, and now rolling wave. The new owners face substantial improvements to match the earlier standard. First, they removed the neon lights and light bars that gave the space a retro, cool feel. Second, they cut many popular beers down to a limited selection. Third, the atmosphere feels off; it is too bright compared to the previous darker, mellow setting. Stopped by Grain and Still at MIA and it was a great find, especially if you're into good beer and solid bar food. I ordered the smash burger, and even though they don't call it an Oklahoma-style, that's exactly what it felt like--the onions smashed right into the patty, giving it that perfect crispy, flavorful bite. Simple, but done really well. On the beer side, they've got a nice variety. I tried a pale ale and a trigo (wheat) beer --both were very good, smooth, and easy to drink. You can tell they care about what they're brewing. Overall, a chill spot with good vibes, great burgers, and quality beers. Definitely worth checking out. read more

They were out of flight glasses, so they didn't do traditional flights when I went but had the a la carte option to get a small pour. Had a blast this past weekend at the Rolling Waves! So cool that it's Florida's first owned deaf brewery and distillery. The staff is always great and always willing to give a recommendation. We went this past Sunday to check out their new food menu and we were not disappointed! I was surprised how much I loved the chicharrón bomb (STRAIGHT FIRE), the wings were great and so was their guava burger! And obviously we had a lot of fire beer as well. Crispy had fries and he was happy. lol. We had such a good time we came back for karaoke on Tuesday! Can't wait to be back asap! read more

Solid Tuesday night choice at MIA Brewing. The space has that standard industrial warehouse exterior, but the interior is well-executed with a dark, moody, almost club-like vibe. The music was energetic and eclectic without feeling like loud punishment for a weeknight. With AMC on the big screen, spring training on the TVs, and a DJ booth overlooking the floor, you can tell this place likely turns into a full-on party by the weekend. I put together a flight to lean into the Miami heat. While I usually stick to hoppy IPAs or hazys, the setting called for some fruity exploration. None of these were overly "challenging," but they hit the mark for what they are. * Conga-Lime: This was the standout. It's a light beer with a subtle fruitiness that reminds me of drinking Magic Hat #9 back in the 90s. I could easily see enjoying this on a patio or poolside. I ended the night by closing out with a full draft of this one. * Lawnmower: There's nothing wrong with this beer, but nothing particularly memorable either. It just "is." It's possible my self-built flight didn't account for the profile swings, but it didn't leave much of an impression. * Breeze: As the name suggests, this was light and easy. It brought the flight back on track. * Mango-lorian: I'm a sucker for a pun, and this play on Disney's best Star Wars contribution was my flight closer. Unlike the Conga-Lime, the fruit here is thicker and more cloying--almost a dessert-ish feel, like an aperitif. It happened to be Taco Tuesday, and I'm not one to pass up $3 tacos. I tried the chicken, pulled pork, and ground beef, opting for "house style" (pickled onions) over "street style" (raw). I usually hesitate on ground beef because it's often greasy or over-sauced, but that wasn't the case here. It was actually the favorite of the three--nicely seasoned with a satisfying crisp at the edges. The pork also had those nice crispy edges but lacked a bit on the flavor profile, and the chicken was just standard. Most importantly, the shells were done perfectly: warm, toasted, and structurally sound enough to hold up through the last bite. It's nice to find a brewery with a good kitchen and. It relying on food trucks. The staff is friendly, and the vats are on full display behind clear garage doors, which is a nice touch. It's a great spot to support a local business. read more

Went here tonight with a group. (It's now called Grain & Still). The food and drinks were good, and we had great service. It's a typical brewery in terms of set up, but there were a couple nice touches that gave it that Miami vibe. It was also sit down service which was nice. I ordered a Pink Flamingo to drink. It was tasty and refreshing. The strawberry was smashed a little, and pieces of it kept coming up in the straw. I didn't mind it, but someone else at my table who ordered it didn't care for that. The drink was great, but if you're not a pulp person you may not like it. I also ordered Shishito Peppers which were not quite as good as I expected in terms of flavor, but they were still sort of addicting. (They were a tiny bit spicy, and I have a high spice tolerance). I also ordered the goat cheese (with extra bread). This was creamy and delish, and the fig jam added a richness to the cheese. Several people tried this and loved it. Not pictured, but some people at our table had the Chicken Schnitzel and said it was good. The pretzel was huge and another big hit! I saw someone ordered the tostones, and they looked delicious as well. Parking was super simple, right in front of the restaurant, and there was tons available. read more

This is a really fun brewery with an expansive selection of creative beers. The beer menu is a little overwhelming, there are so many options. They have several options for a hop head like myself. But, they also have a great sour selection lots of guest beers, seltzers, ciders & NA beers. They also serve cocktails and food, so there are lots of options for the non-beer drinkers. I review this brewing a few years ago and it has changed a lot. I used to love the burgers from this brewery. The burgers were big and juicy, I had to cut the burger in half because they were big.... And today I ordered a burger and what a disappointment! The burger looked like a McDonald burger, it was not what I was expecting for $19!! I will never order it again. This place is much more than a micro-brewery. First of all, they have a full bar in addition to the beers they brew on site. There is a full menu of burgers, wings and other bar food that is decent fare for the price point. The jewel of this place is Taco Tuesday (the only day you can get them) where you can mix and match street tacos or house tacos in beef, pork or chicken. The tostones will shredded pork are also very good. The staff here is very friendly and very helpful for the casual atmosphere and mini sports bar vibe. read more

Love this brewery. The beer and food are both excellent and it's a cool space with fun offerings like pop ups and trivia nights. They have a good variety of beer and everything I've tried is good. My favorite is their Belgian triple, "the tourist trappe". (Bonus points for their clever punny names). Also love their Miami Weiss hefeweissen. Was pleasantly surprised by the food. We ordered nachos and expected the typical brewery nachos where someone throws some four cheese blend and pico on chips and calls it a day. Quite the opposite. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the portion was generous. Their trivia wasn't my fave but I've seen this guy at other bars so I think it's him, not them. MIA Bruhaus is a really cool place to come and hang out for a solid happy hour. They've got a ton of beers and even cocktails, as well as an extensive food menu. Their owner is really cool too and took the time to talk to us. For beers, I had the trapezoid Belgian beer, it was delicious.....I had two tonight! My husband had the Don Leon Rum and then a trapezoid beer, he enjoyed both. The vibe is dark chill relaxing, perfect to get out of this Miami summer heat wave. I love MIA Bruhaus! I've been celebrating my birthday here for a few years in a row and it's always good time! Try the cheese croquettas and the jam ones! The tender and fries are always a hit too. They have sandwiches that are good and we've tried every app there is and are never disappointed. The service is great, they are attentive and make sure we aren't thirsty! I've sat inside and outside and I prefer outside. Especially if there's a nice breeze, but don't worry if there's not, they have fans that help fight the Miami humidity. They've been around for over 10 years so they're doing things right. There's an extensive and exciting beer menu. They also have liquor made in house with cocktails and shots available. This is one of the best craft beer brewery in Doral. The staff is very knowledgeable about each of their craft beers which are displayed on a huge board behind the bar. The name of the beer and crafter with the abv percentage are hand written on the board. Numerous beers are brewed and served on premis and many are local brewers. The Tourist Trappe and the Miami Weiss are my two favorite craft brews. I took a tour of the many vats in the massive back room and were explained the brewing process by the host. They sell select beer togo in cans or in growlers. There is a huge tv screen to watch sporting eventscin addition to many monitors. Every year MIA has an anniversary tent event outside and inside. This place is a must see if in Doral. read more

We've been visiting this brewery for quite some time. We have always loved this place for their good beer and food. Lately it feels that it has changed alot because they have had a lot of changes going on. They have great beers that are always rotating! Recently they changed their food vendor to Farmhouse BBQ and we were very excited today to try it. Unfortunately our expectations were not met. The wings were nothing special and the burger was good but overpriced for a double smash burger without any sides. It is a good place if you are going just for drinks and a vibe. They have great music playing as well as games you can play. The service has always been amazing and the bartenders are super helpful. This is probably my favorite brewery I've been to in the Miami area. Just came here a second time this past weekend for some beer and food. They have a HUGE selection of beers to choose from!! Some places I've been to only have a couple. MIA has all different kinds of beer, so you're bound to find a few you like. My favorite ended up being the Neon, and hubby's was the Tremenda Tipa. Like the beer menu, their food menu is large too. I was pleasantly surprised by the options offered. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak and actually said he thinks it's the best one he's ever had. The steak was super flavorful and seasoned so well. I got the wings and fries combo with the foxy pink lady sauce (I think that's the name?) I got 8 good sized wings drenched in delicious sauce. The fries we hand cut and had this amazing seasoning on them. I wish I had some right now lol. We ended the meal with a piece of chocolate cake that was beyond!! The bar/restaurant area is open and very clean, with additional seating outside. Service was great as well. We were periodically checked on to see if we needed anything, but they also left us alone to just hang out. I definitely love the 80s vibe they have going here. It's unique and makes for a fun time. We came here today after the miami boat show and we got so lucky! It was the company's 10 year anniversary so they were having a celebration with food trucks and discounted beers. This place is amazing. One of the best breweries in Miami. They have a variety of beers. From IPAS to stouts to Weiss to triples. All the beers here are so good! My favorite is the triple but the miami weiss is also amazing. I'll take either any day! The food here is also really good and not expensive. This place is just so much fun. We came in to drink a few different beers and have a light lunch, but when we asked the person behind the bar to give us some ideas, she said it would be a lot easier if we just scanned the bar code on the napkin holder to see their list of beers in a more organized form. After ordering a couple of beers, we asked to see the food menu. Once again she directed us to the bar code. We couldn't get the menu downloaded, so we asked if she could tell us a bit about what they had to eat, to which she replied "maybe you should try to login to our Wi-Fi". By far one of my favorite breweries I have been to in Miami. The vibes are perfection. It's located in a shopping center that isn't too busy. There are plenty of parking spots. The brewery has many different seating options from booth, bar, patio, to regular tables. The menu is displayed really big behind the bar. What I loved about this brewery was the options of beer and food--so many good options. I highly recommend getting the nachos! So good! Came here on a Saturday night and truly enjoyed this place! The music is popping! They have a huge screen at the end where you can watch games and trust me, everyone has a good view of that screen! We were helped by Alex who was so kind and attentive. He made excellent beer and food recommendations and was truly a pleasure!
