if i could leave zero stars i definitely would... i rented the big pavilion for my gender reveal…read morefor august 29th & they approved it august 11th along with confirmed the payment was received, i get there yesterday to start setting up & they had gave our reservation to another family i just so happen to know from out of state that had just gotten here 2 days prior, they then tried to tell me i never paid for it when i showed proof in my account that i had paid for it aswell as a confirmation email that they only send after they've received the payment. they then proceeded to just not at all accommodating me & i ended up having to have my gender reveal UNDER THE BATHROOMS under the concrete slab. i'm beyond pissed & they ruined my entire day, i cried almost my entire gender reveal because my decorations couldn't even come out right because the space was literally horrendous. i had 2 tables for EVERYTHING i had to set up, & only had AT MOST 10 chairs for a party of 60+ people to "sit in".... i will NEVER rent this space for another important event.

There are two or three baseball diamonds that have bleachers, a concession stand, and a restroom. Walking Trail that connects from the ballpark to the playground. Open area with some oak trees. I would say a medium sized parking lot. There are mobile homes surrounding this park in both good and bad condition, not too many fences, it is a rural area. I only saw one guy on the walking path, a girl and her boyfriend in a car, then a van full of kids from a local Baptist Church running to the playground. Everyone I encountered was nice and friendly. The grass was a little long, but only because Southwest Alabama has storms everyday for over a week followed by ninety degree heat, but at least this park was not muddy. The restrooms were clean and there were at least three drinking fountains near the concession area. I also saw a bird, I think it was a crane, walking around.

You should park there, the dirt road is very muddy because it is wetlands & frequent rain, going down the dirt road is risky with a vehicle, you might get stuck. It is straight wilderness here, the mosquitos are unreal, the repellant I had (OFF) will not keep them away. I wore pants, I read other people's reviews about how bad the vector insects are. I did not do the whole trail because the bugs were biting my dog plus too many damn wild turkeys running around, so if you like hunting those, this is your spot. I might come back once the weather is cooler, too hot, too many mosquitoes.

These are just a few of the majestic and breathtaking birds that I saw when visiting the Audubon Bird Sanctuary on Dauphin Island near Mobile, Alabama. If you are a birdwatcher, or if you just love nature and walking along wooden footpaths through groves of trees and lagoons covered with lily pads, you'll enjoy spending some time here. I walked for an hour with my binoculars, listening and looking for birds. I saw birds that I knew, and birds that I've never seen before. I stood and gazed at the lagoon and lily pads, enjoying the quietude of nature and water. I walked through the shade of trees, listening the the hum of silence broken only by birdsong. Birding is a peaceful hobby. It's about listening, looking, and patience. Being at the Audubon Bird Sanctuary gave me the sense of peace and calm that only nature can provide.

Small playground park in a rural unincorporated community. The park is next door to a cemetery,…read morenear a church, & surrounded by cotton fields in Grand Bay, Alabama. The parks has a small playground at the front of the park, older metal play equipment & a swing set near the rear of park. The parking lot is small, can accommodate between 6-12 vehicles. Four metal picnic tables with BBQ pits in the shade of Southern Live Oak Trees & Long Leaf Pines. There are also some Bald Cypress Trees & shrubs along one side near the fence. There is a wooden pavilion with two metal picnic tables & three electrical plug ins. A concrete sidewalk encircles the interior perimeter of the park. One older basketball court.There are no drinking fountains, no water faucets, & no restrooms at this park. There is litter throughout the park because there are no trashcans, either. If you plan on spending an afternoon here, I recommend bring wet wipes & your own water, plus packing out your own trash. There is a small, shallow pond at the rear of the park beyond the older playground equipment. Directly behind this small pond is a much larger pond/ lake with ducks & fish. I am not sure if that pond is part of the park, the church cemetery, or the cotton farmer's property on the other side of the park. I saw zero signs posted, but it looks like a good spot to fish. I saw very few vehicles driving along Tom Waller Road where you enter Community Park. I saw no people. I did see a low flying crop duster plane, that is all. But this looks like a great spot out in the country where no one will bother you.

There are small and large pavilion areas for picnics or parties (no reservations) positioned along the edge of the park with accessible pathways making it easy for everyone to enjoy. There are two playground areas separated by age groups and walkways between the two. The area for younger children has a ton of shade. The larger playground has wonderful shady areas with benches for parents to relax. The park dock area leads to kayak launches and a nice area to access the water if you want to swim. There is plenty of parking spots and lots of trash receptacles (unlike the new Ferry Pass community center).
