This was my first time ordering from this establishment. Overall I'm rating 3 because the employees were great and helpful. The problem fell with the food. I ordered kids pizza and they arrived burnt the bottom was dark brown and the crust was black. Mind you they were kids meal pizzas for my children. I was very disappointed with that but they did correct the action by sending out new pizzas and they were perfect and came fast... But for it to be my first time ordering I didn't expect that. Those pizzas should have never left the store. I'd rather have a longer wait time than poor quality food. My suggestion is to order in or pick up so you can be able to check your food read more

Moved into the King George area about 2 months ago, and was looking for a good pizza place. While Domino's is a decent back-up, we like a local place for our pizza. I had been here 2 times already with my office, and really liked what we got. One trip we got the M.A.N. (mentioned in another review), and the second trip we got Scotty's experiement with a Sicilian pizza (based on the urging of someone in our group). Both times, I was execptionally impressed. This past weekend we ordered for delivery (which I was surprised they do, and very pelased) a personal-sized chicken alfredo pizza and a large "Club" pizza (turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar and mozz cheeses, and surprisingly no sauce). We loved them both, with my wife (who doesn't like red sauces) falling in love with the Club. I've become a huge fan, and looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, to include the Thursday Pad Thai special. This has definitely become our new pizza place! read more

We've been coming to Romas for 20+ years. Multiple owners. The bottom line is: decent but not great. The reason its been open so long is its the best option for sit down dining with no surprises in the area. Pizza can be great, or wet. Dinner salads are pre made and can be sometimes wilted. The weekly special pad Thai is tasty. They've expanded the bar area and done a good job remodeling. This time we got baked spaghetti, a burger and an individual pizza (3 people). Decent. read more

We'd been in the car for hours, checked in at our hotel and asked about delivery options. My kids wanted pizza, so I ordered from them. Pricing - where I'm from, a large pepperoni for eleven bucks is ridiculously inexpensive. Even with the three dollar delivery fee it was cheap enough that my expectations were very low. Staff - They were very nice on the phone, apologetically explained it would be over an hour for delivery, and I was glad that they were honest and upfront. An hour later a knock on the door and a delivery guy handed me two very got pizzas. Hotter than any other delivery pizza I've ever had. Pepperoni pizza - nothing glamorous, right? Wrong. Maybe just because the pizza was so hot, the abundance of cheese was in this incredible semi liquid state and mixed with their delicious sauce. Buffalo ranch pizza - whoa. Hold on to your hat. This thing was amazing. I've never had another pizza that tasted this good that wasn't authentic brick oven gourmet at 3x the price. I'm wordsy, but I am having trouble describing just how delicious this pizza was. The owner, Scotty, seems like a really cool guy. He sat down and chatted with me and it wasn't weird. He genuinely loves this restaurant. And you can tell in how this place is run. Great service. This place has a really nice yelp rating, so somebody is liking it. Here's what my wife and I experienced. I had baked spaghetti, add sausage and mushroom. The pasta is out of a box, the sauce out of a jar, the mushrooms out of a can, the "meat" product was simply unidentifiable but it was very mealy, the mozzarella was ok, the bread was fine but under grilled and with something on it, oil perhaps but barely and added nothing. The one positive I can say about the place is that for $10 the serving size was huge, 2-3 people could have dined on the baked spaghetti order and been full. This was a "specialty of the house". Poor wine selection poor beer selection and out dated drink menus, a server who was very nice but not well trained. Overall this was a very disappointing experience. Had an order of jalapeño poppers, out of a box, undercooked and the cheese was still square. I don't know about the rest of the menu but this was enough for me, we won't be returning. read more

An American-Italian pizza place. It has a lot of selection, good for a group dining session. Salads, sandwiches, seafood, and a mix of pizza. The dining area is sometimes loud since it is more of a kids&family restaurant with tvs and all. Therefore, not really the place for eloquence. The food is extremely hit and miss. Its all average to the point of boring, but the quality varies with how busy the kitchen is. The pizza in particular is much much better if you order it off rush. Other items vary just as wildly in there quality. This is the closest bar to the base, and they have a decent tap selection. Today I stopped by Roma's for a going away lunch for a colleague. We were a big group and had our seating area reserved. Everyone got their food on individual tickets with no mix-ups or issues. I tried their Oink and Moo burger. Typically a burger is not what I consider ordering at a Pizza place, but wanted to give it a shot as I have heard good things. The burger is comprised of ~66% beef and ~34% bacon. It was cooked perfectly to my liking and was very good. The burger does not come with cheese which is $1 extra and the menu states it comes with your choice of toppings. As I found out some of the toppings are free while others are not (mushrooms). This was not reflected in the menu. Either way, the burger was very good and I would recommend you give it a try. read more

The staff was great until the awful food came out. This is one of the few places to eat in this town and it is only good for the pizza...sometimes. We ordered nachos once they barley had meat or cheese on them. Most recently we ordered their "special" bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos, they came out with canned pineapple in them, yuck!!! Most horrible customer service ever! My wife and I have been "faithful" customers for the past year and a half since being stationed at Dahlgren. They always leave SOMETHING off our order, nothing is EVER made the same way twice, and despite how much they want to cram "It's homemade" down your throat, it most certainly is NOT! The kitchen is dirty and the staff talks about you behind your back...or at least puts the phone down and jokes about you calling to order their overpriced, undercooked food. Roma deserves a five star rating. It's a one of a kind establishment in this area. You can find a large menu that has everything you can imagine on it. From Pizza to specialty Pizza...to wings, to their fantastic baked spaghetti, there isn't one bad item on their menu. If you want burgers, they have it. Want to order a chicken cordon bleu? You'll get the largest piece of fried chicken you've ever seen in your life on a sandwich. If you're looking for beer, they have a great selection on draft of the best local and domestic beers around, as well as bottled. Full service bar as well if you're looking to go on the liquor. Service is always exceptional, I've never had a bad experience here as far as that goes. They have a dining area, a bar area and a recreational area so there is definitely something for everyone here. Whether you're looking to stop in for a bite to eat or shut it down singing karaoke until close...they have it all here. i found this place a few days ago while yelping the king george area. we got into town at lunch time and kids were antsy and hungry. i suggested we go here rather than five guys up the road. thankfully my phone signal & speed worked together at the exact moment we were passing the little strip of road that leads to this place. it's behind a car repair place and some office spaces. this place was packed, but thankfully we got one of the last remaining tables in the dining area. the main door lead to the kitchen/order out section, to the right is a door leading to a bar/dining area, and to the left of the main door is the main dining area. the menu is MOSTLY italian, though i did see a board in the front with PAD THAI as a special. i thought it was a bit odd, but people were ordering it, and seemed to like it. there were tons of menu items to choose from, sandwiches, entrees, salads, appitizers, pizza. we were in a rush (we had 30 minutes til our scheduled meeting) so we ordered our drinks --- pepsi products -- and ONE large pizza. got the M.A.N. pizza. i think they called it Meat and Nothin' Else. it had crumbled sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon. there wasn't too much sauce (GOOD! cause i'm not a lover of too much sauce!) and the dough -- you could choose New York crust or thin crust. we didn't specify which crust, but the crust we did get was nice. doughy, but not overly bready -- i wasn't eating more bread than toppings. it had a nice yeasty flavor to it and it was soft and chewy...no tough crust! service was friendly and quick, though i am sure it can get busy/crazy/slow in there when it is completely full of hungry patrons in a lunch "hour" crunch. i only noticed one register (for the dining room patrons to pay) in there. there is another register in the kitchen for take out orders...and probably one in the bar, at the bar. anyway, i really enjoyed this place and was please with the friendly staff that came by to check on and clear the table. i was especially pleased to find a restaurant like this in a small town like king george. next time i go, i'll try the pad thai -- it looked good, nice color, lots of meat (your choice), and lots of it. read more

So it really just depends on what you're there for. The food is good but it's a bit over priced and I found a better Italian place closer to where I live. However, this is a great place if you are here to drink and have a good time on Saturday nights. They normally have Karaoke going and the atmosphere is real relaxed. Some good and bad singers but every so often you have great singers and it just makes for a good night and good times. read more

Overall nice place. We sat in the bar area and was greeted almost immediately by the bartender/waitress. It was happy hour, but didn't seem so with $2.50 prices and no hh price for liquor. Ordered the Chicken Alfredo with Shrimp. A monsterous bowl of noodles with some sauce and if you looked good..shrimp was presented to me. The taste was ok, definitely wouldn't order that again. There wasn't enough sauce for the amount of noodles in the bowl. My friend ordered a personal pizza, which she said was okay. NIce juke box and pleasant bartender until shift change and a tall guy took over. He wasn't as attentive and took a while to get his attention for drinks. Love Roma's!! Expect a wait for food when it's busy. It's not because the service is lacking, its just in high demand. When we order carry out I just expect it to take a bit longer on a Friday or Saturday. The pizza is so good but I also recommend venturing off to other options as well.
