Our server was friendly, offered thoughtful recommendations, and checked in at just the right times. They were attentive without being intrusive. We never had to ask for plates to be cleared or flag someone down when we were ready for dessert. We started with the calamari, followed by the lasagna, and finished with the lemon cake. I also had an Aperol Spritz. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell nothing relied on frozen ingredients or store-bought sauces. If you're looking for authentic Italian food in the Fredericksburg area, I highly recommend Orofino. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town.

Our waiter, Jack, was an absolute superstar. He was knowledgeable, attentive, funny, and incredibly helpful with our selections. He truly made the evening special. We started with the calamari and a salad with goat cheese, walnuts, and pomegranate unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it, but it was absolutely delicious! The complimentary bread served with their infused olive oil was outstanding and worth mentioning on its own. For our entrées, my husband and I both ordered specials the Lobster Ravioli and the Halibut. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also enjoyed an excellent red blend wine. By that point, we had enjoyed enough wine that I completely forgot to take photos of the specials! We finished with the cannoli special dessert, which was good, though not quite as memorable as the rest of the meal. For dinner, my wife had the evening special--chicken with pappardelle pasta, asparagus, and a delicious sauce. My mom and I both ordered the Lasagne with house-made pasta, beef, fresh mozzarella, and tomato sauce. The meals came out looking fantastic, as they always do, and everything was excellent. My wife's chicken was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and it paired perfectly with the pappardelle pasta. I already knew the lasagna was going to be outstanding, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The service here continues to be exceptional. Our water glasses were always kept full, empty plates were cleared promptly, and everyone worked together to make it a great dining experience.
