We were driving through town looking for some food and stopped in to order to go. The lady who helped us was super sweet and the owner was a pretty good lookin guy. We ordered the tortellini siciliano, spaghetti and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was very good. I had the tortellini and it was a very odd mix with ham, olives and pink sauce. It didnt quite "hit right" with the flavors together.

Garlic bread ( they generously re-fill our basket). Hot off the oven.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. It's our second time here. The food was outstanding! From their complimentary rolls, to heir salad dressing and to the main course. My husband ordered the lasagna and I had the chicken Florentine. The rolls were like little round French bread fresh right out of the oven. The oil with garlic dip we had really ties well with the bread. It didn't come as a complimentary but you have to get this and try it for yourself. Warning: very garlicky but oh so delicious! House made dressing came with the meal. That too was amazing! Flavorful and creamy with a touch of sweetness to it. I had the Cesar dressing and hubby had the ranch. The chicken Florentine I ordered was perfect! Creamy, flavorful sauce with mushrooms and spinach topped with grilled chicken cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the lasagna and he told me that it was delicious! Now, with that said, the one negative thing I need to mention is our waiter. He is an older guy who wasn't friendly at all nor said much. I thanked him every time he came around our table bringing our food or when I asked for more napkins. He wasn't engaging. Maybe it's just his personality. I think if you're working for tips, you'll do what you can to earn the big tips. This guy didn't seem to care. He wasn't the only one waiting on tables there. In spite of the server experience, I will not hesitate to recommend this place specially if you around town.

Yes. This is our medley of pasta. Lol
The hand in the pic is for portion size.

I'm not here to bash anyone. I'm merely here to speak of my experience. To start, our waitress was extremely nice, but very inattentive. We were NEVER asked for a refill of our drinks during our visit and our first basket of bread rolls were over cooked and crunchy. Without saying a word, she brought us a second basket of rolls that were clearly not overcooked, but very doughy/undercooked, but still edible. The bread itself wasn't bad, but not Italian. Just simply basic dinner rolls with basic flavor. It surely wasn't garlic bread that you would expect to have at an Italian restaurant. The salad before dinner was also nothing to brag about. Just a choppy head of lettuce with a thinly sliced tomato slice, sprinkled with mozzarella cheese and topped with ranch. No color and very bland. For our main dish, we ordered the pasta combo! We were pretty excited because we read it was a large medley and the price was higher than the other options of pasta, so we thought it was a good choice. The medley was lasagna, manicotti, spinach ravioli, tortellini, and baked ziti! When our dish arrived, you can imagine our surprise when the portion size was that of a small meal. The lasagna had NO meat and one lasagna noodle on top smaller than half a lasagna noodle with melted cheese underneath it. No layers to it whatsoever. Once I found the spinach ravioli, it was one ravioli that was green from pureed "something", but it wasn't spinach. And if it was, it was mush, like artichoke and spinach dip squeezed in the middle of pasta. I've always experienced cooked spinach in the middle....not baby food. The tortellini and baked ziti is not fresh and it was obvious. I never did find the manicotti. ‍ But, that wasn't even the worst part! The most uninviting part was dining with friends and other patrons while someone went up and down the isle with a vacuum 3 different times as we were eating! That, to me, is unacceptable while eating out at a restaurant! We were there before 5:30 pm so it wasn't like they were trying to close. Let's finish off with this.... Our table consisted of 2 couples, a total of 4 of us, and she brought us one ticket! Didn't even ask if we were on the same ticket or not, which we weren't. Both my husband and I, and the other couple, ordered the exact same meal, but our tickets (and it's not a big deal AT ALL) were slightly different by a penny. Yes! A measly penny! My customer receipt and the business receipt was off by a penny on the taxes, which, again, is NOT a big deal. Example: Customer receipt said tax was $2.37 but the business copy said $2.38. Before someone thinks we may have ordered different drinks that changed the price...... we didn't. Both us and our friends ordered 2 waters and 2 teas, along with the same dinner plate. All in all, the food was edible. It's exactly the same thing I could've made at home with ragu, but I would've had layered lasagna with some meat for way less...and cheaper. Way over priced, even though the prices aren't bad, for mediocre food and a medley pasta portion made for a toddler. I hope your business does well in the future and I hope all the criticism helps you build a better clientele! All the best!

Food is disgusting, taste like a bad frozen TV dinner! Very tasteless! Service is so so. If you want good Italian food go elsewhere!

Food was really good. The chicken Alfredo, calzone and trio were really good, service was a little slow. Definitely would go back again.

The Sammy's dish had a good mix of peppers, onion and mushrooms with just a little bit of heat.

We tried the basil pesto & goat cheese crostini and the spinach artichoke dip. Both were amazing! The negatives: It was a little loud, but not unbearable sitting by a wall. I would not love if I had to sit in the middle of the room. Getting seated was also difficult, as they did not have a host stand, so we just waited by the door. My least favorite part of the evening was when we were trying to pay. They were just holding the handheld machine, so we could not take our time looking at the bill and filling out the tip. The presets were something like 20%, 25%, and 30% tips. I am not opposed to tipping that much if we received above and beyond service, but that felt very pushy for such a nice place.

I came here a couple times when I was pregnant and got great mocktails, too. My husband got the smoked old-fashioned and really enjoyed it. We like their flatbreads, the duck confit nachos are yummy and filling, the Brie en croute is delicious, and the duck trap river smoked salmon and deviled eggs is also super fun. Great date night spot or place to chill and hangout with friends.

The staff know exactly what to recommend and we've never been steered wrong. Their prime rib is probably my favorite item on the menu. It is such a great meal for the price. It's cooked perfectly, is a large portion, and has great flavor for the Au Ju. We also lovedddd the beef stroganoff! It was a special item of the week when we first tried it and we were happy to see it became part of the regular menu when we came back a second time. Their poutine fries are apparently one of their most popular items. I'm usually not a fan of poutine fries, but my husband really wanted to try it and I'm glad I agreed because they were phenomenal! Not mushy and weird like normal poutine fries at other places. The sauces complemented the crispy fries very well. Overall this became one of our favorite spots to just pop in and grab a meal at while our daughter was in the NICU nearby. We will be making it a staple going forward!
