Wasn't all tht impressed. It was somewhat just and we had to wait. Not a lot of room for tht. Took about 10 mins or so to get seated. Drinks were ordered. If I could give zero stars, I would. My family had an absolutely horrible experience June 19, 2026. We ordered two steak dinners with potatoes and order of mozzarella sticks. We watched seven other tables get served their meal. When we ask the waitress why we've forgotten she said that it "depends on what you order". And then she came back around the corner and told us - " your order ticket fell on the floor and never got made, sorry". we sat there for an hour. Watched everyone enjoy their meal received nothing. This is by far the best steak restaurant in Shawnee. No steak sauce needed! The service is excellent. It's a great date night spot if you want a low lighting romantic night or just a treat not to cook at home. The steaks are well prices compared to other places that serve steak. read more

Disappointed with the overall experience with this steakhouse. Service, food quality and overall cleanliness was very poor. Our table area was not clean on the floor and we had a full large piece of steak on the floor under our feet. Salad was old and had brown lettuce. I could not eat it and neither could most of the table of 6. Server offered rolls but said the dough was still rising.... At the end of the meal we asked for rolls and she said it was still rising... why offer them if you don't have them. Who wants to go to a steakhouse and pay a big price for steak for poor service, dirty conditions and no rolls! Food was nothing special. Steaks were ok. Chicken fry steak was bad. This place is great and food is consistently excellent. I only have one complaint regarding my most recent visit. When we got home and my and handed me the credit card receipt, I noticed some verbiage printed at the bottom of the receipt. It said "You could have saved $1.69 if you had paid with cash." So clearly this restaurant is passing the credit card fee on to the customer. I know that some restaurants are choosing to do this lately - in order to keep their prices low, but the customer is informed of this beforehand - so they can make the decision to pay cash or credit card. This is the responsible thing for a business to do. However, Bandana Reds did NOT warn us ahead of time that we would be charged this fee. Had they been responsible and told us this ahead of time, we could have chosen to pay cash. I think Bandana Reds adding this fee with no warning to customers is sneaky and a bad business practice. It has broken trust with this customer, for sure. read more

If you are into canned mushrooms from dollar generals overstock that have thawed and then been refrozen and then thawed again and then been frozen again, then these are for you! This was a first for me and my husband. It's his birthday and we have been talking about trying out this steakhouse. We would drive by and smell this amazing food and would say some day .. well today was that some day! Let me just say I'm so glad we did this what a small little gem this turned out to be .. As I said earlier it's the hubby's birthday so got the kiddos together and told them meet us for dinner. We all got something different from catfish which was absolutely delicious to a chicken sandwich to steaks and OMG the steak was so good that it just melted in your mouth.. We were looking for a legit place to eat along the highway, but it was hard to find anything else than fast food joints. We found this place on yelp and thought it was worth exploring. First of all I'd like to say that the 4 dollar sign price range is very exaggerated. You can get a solid meal for $10 and the most expensive item on the menu is a 12oz ribeye for $21 which is more than fair. The decor is super nice and the restaurant is filled with very cool country music memorabilia. The service was as friendly as it gets and last but not least the food was great. Oh!!
