On a whim, we decided to stop in after coming from next-door. We decided to have a cocktail and order from the brunch menu, and 'oh man!'. I ordered the Brunch Punch and my mother ordered a Blood Mary and both were OUTSTANDING. The brunch punch was an elevated mimosa that was very refreshing and the Bloody Mary was loaded with toppings. For brunch, we ordered the Frittata and the Chicken and Waffles. The Frittata was cheesy and so light and airy and it came topped with balsamic glaze, 10/10. The Chicken and Waffles was some of the best I have had in OK. Along with the great food, the music and ambience was fantastic for a cute brunch spot. I cannot recommend this place enough. A great hidden gem in downtown Shawnee! We always grab their seasonal special drink and are never disappointed. Their starter of crispy cauliflower is very flavorful but ask for it a little more crispy/charred and you'll enjoy it even more. Their pasta is very filling and flavorful but I've always been a sucker for their burger. Get it with an extra side of their special ketchup and you'll be in for a treat. The space is pretty intimate and comfortable. I love the patio if the weather permits. Definitely a very cute and quaint spot but would not recommend for a large group. They do not seem to be equipped for large parties by the wait staff or kitchen. Wait times for drinks, ordering, food was excessive. We chalked it up to our party size but also would think they would double up to get a large party taken care of. Stopped in on a Friday night. Great place for some incredible food! Great wine list too. Got the pasta with lemon garlic sauce with chicken. Perfect balance of lemon and garlic! The charcuterie board was served in a cute butterfly board with a nice variety of cheese and meats, loved the jam and small toasted bread slices. We made a reservation for dinner for Saturday night because I didn't know how busy they might be. It wasn't busy but the service was excellent. We started with the Main Street Brussels sprouts which were delicious. I ordered the lasagna, my husband ordered the fish and chips, and my daughter ordered the Moroccan chicken. My daughter, who lives in OKC, said the Moroccan chicken was ok but we all agreed the lasagna and the fish was excellent and the service was excellent. The plates are heavy food & $15-40. Ended up choosing to split the charcuterie & dip trio. The "chef's choice" of dips ended up being olive tempanade, a french onion dip & red pepper hummus. None of the dips were anything to write home about. The waitress returned right after we ordered & said the charcuterie wasn't "ready yet", ‍ and wanted to know if there was anything else we'd like. (A little confusing since they advertise the charcuterie as cheeses, meats & pickled veggies.) We chose to go with the Brussels sprouts & were glad we did. They were the best bite of the meal. There were flies flying about & crickets chirping in the room. Just took away from the cute ambience they're trying to create. First the atmosphere of this place is awesome! We sat outside and it was great (after a few drink rude women left). Our servers were great and polite even after the before mentioned women made snide remarks and were just rude. Anyways my wife loved their cocktails and their food was amazing. Only thing I was upset by was the fact I haven't been there sooner. This definitely blows all other places in Shawnee out of the water. I've seen where people comment on the prices of the food. Well quality cost money and their quality of food is definitely the best Shawnee has to offer. Checked this place out a few months back and the food was great but the service was lacking. Today we thought we would make the trip out there again to try again and see if it would be a good place for our PCA group to travel to for a Saturday lunch. It was not worth the almost 2 hour drive one way for us. Service started off almost too strong at first then by the time we got our app we pretty much was ignored after that. Again the food was decent. My husband got the biscuits and gravy. He said it was good but was cold and very dry wanted to ask for more gravy but we never were checked back on. I got the breakfast burger, I could see how this would be amazing but again mine was fairly cold. We sat in a room with just us and another table of 8 or so guests. At one point one server went to that table and talked with them for about 20 mins. We were really wanting to order another cocktail or at least waters refilled but no one helped. One point my husband got up to look for help and no one was around. We finally just asked for our check which at this point we were the only table there and 10 mins went by and still no check. Flagged someone down finally and our first server brought it saying "oh I forgot about you". I really wanted this place to be as amazing as it looks but 2 times in a row with bad service just isn't it. Food/drink/menu is great and the place is beyond stunning but can't see us going back to be ignored. My favorite party of today's lunch was the cocktail special of the month that a very sweet server (that wasn't ours) told us about. While in town visiting a friend we came to Theopolis a couple times for afternoon drinks and Sunday brunch. The inside is super cute and trendy. I loved the hanging succulents and vintage style chairs. The drink menu is very robust and full of creative drinks. The Theo 75 cocktail was my afternoon winner. It was a nice blend of fruity and bubbly without being too sweet. The house chips & dip are also amazing! For brunch it was a bit disappointing that 3 options weren't actually available, but the frittata I ended up with amazing. The Bloody Mary was also great. I really enjoyed the house mix. Overall I really loved this place. The service could probably use a bit more attention and hospitality, but the food is great. A perfect spot for really anytime of the day. read more

While traveling, my girlfriend and I had the pleasure of discovering the Theopolis Social Club. What an amazing surprise in this small, charming community of Shawnee, OK. The service was impeccable and the food was off the scale! Cora had the signature burger and I haddock the Mac and Cheese with Burnt Ends. She raved about the juiciness and flavor of her burger and it was, without a doubt, the best Mac and Cheese entree that I have had. We also had an incredible app of Artichoke/Spinach. The menu offers some great looking appetizers, and so it was hard to choose! We chose the charcuterie board and the baked goat cheese. Both were served with some delicious fried chips (maybe fried pasta or fried wontons?). And we also ordered the chicken and waffles, which had three waffles with three different sauces. Love this place! My sister is a regular here and wanted to show us this place when we visited. The had great drinks and delicious food. Their chicken and waffles is their best dish no doubt. But the rest of their menu is chefs kiss too. We also had their spinach dip and it was delicious. Great ambience and very cute. Service was lovely. We always try to visit the top rated restaurants when traveling so we stopped here. The service was very good, with the wait staff being very personable and energetic. I wish I had better remarks about the food. We had brunch on a Saturday and the menu was limited but how can you go wrong with biscuits and gravy? Well... Everything on my plate was cold. The gravy for my biscuits had even congealed a bit. They did bring me a side of hot gravy, which helped somewhat. The house fries had way too much garlic and were also cold. That might be a matter of taste because my hubby didn't dislike them as much as I did. However, his food was much warmer than mine (which led me to think mine sat while they were finishing his). He said the best thing on his plate was the side salad, which he really enjoyed. His Croque Madam was fair. It's a cute place in downtown Shawnee and has a good ambiance with great music. I think their regular menu might be more to our liking so I gave it a three star rating. read more
