His sensitivity and evidence based therapy guided me towards success and also quite literally saved my life. After going to multiple psychiatrists, therapists, and even hospitals with no relief from my symptoms of PTSD and anxiety, Dr. Towery was practically my last shot. His spirit and sensitivity immediately led me to trust him. I have not regretted that decision since. His brilliance not only helped me work through my PTSD but also completely inspired me. The cognitive techniques he used were beyond helpful, helping me regain the sense of hopefulness that I had thought I lost forever. Through hard work and expert guidance I have officially graduated therapy! Dr. Towery truly helped me and I recommend him to all those who are seeking help.

They charge…read moreyou incorrectly, do not apply their own policies consistently, do not even have policies with correct verbiage to support what they try to enforce. On top of that, you will be chastised, insulted, and spoken to like a child by their nasty and condescending employee Laura Beann who has never had a professional conversation in her life and takes her work way too personally. Laura is a compassionless, cold hearted human void of any empathy and is the opposite of someone you want handling your sensitive HIPPA or Mental Health care. Wellmind was a complete waste of time and resources and I wish they had actual honest reviews so I could have avoided this joke of a company entirely.

Thus, her notes of office visits and her questions that begin each session are extremely thorough. In addition, she is also cautious and careful as she works with you to determine the best plan for treatment. At all times, Dr. Reed has the patient's needs and concerns in mind. Recognizing the impact of increased environmental stress and other factors, Dr. Reed effectively adjusted and refocused my prescriptions accordingly. Perhaps most notably, Dr. Reed is interested in the whole patient. As such, she takes time to listen and to hear what you feel is happening before she determines a course of action. Dr. Reed has a calm demeanor as well as personal warmth that makes her accessible. At the same time, she upholds the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. She is an excellent choice for someone in need of a psychiatrist. Justin E.

Warning - Dimitriu Will Call the Cops on You!…read more I was sitting in my house not bothering anyone or making any threats. I was not committing any crimes. I was not in danger. I was not bothering anyone else. This "doctor," Alex Dimitriu, called me at home and told me he was incarcerating me in a locked facility. I tried to talk to him to see what the problem was and address any concerns he might have. He arrogantly just told me "I'm not going to argue with you." The law was on my side and civil rights exist. I politely told this person that he technically could not legally do this to me. His response was to threaten to call the cops on me, weaponizing his medical license and the racial dynamics of the situation. Interacting with Alex Dimitriu left me feeling like the most helpless victim. He forced himself on me through "medical treatment" - involuntary incarceration. He spit on my right to due process - the one guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. Alex Dimitriu treated me like three-fifths of a person. I have been diagnosed with PTSD as a result of Dimitriu's aggression. I have not felt safe since he ignored the law, stripped me of my rights, and traumatized me. The professional psychotherapist I consulted (who is licensed by the state of California) called Dimitriu's actions "a disgusting abuse of power." I suspect but can not prove that he tried to hide his actions and this review from you, the reader. I've had to rewrite it once. Stay safe - stay away from Dimitriu! - Former patient

Dr Levinson was my inpatient psychiatrist (well, one of them) at Mills. Unlike most other…read moreinvoluntary patients, I very much wanted to be in a hospital because I desperately needed the help - help that I unfortunately didn't get until another hospitalization elsewhere. Dr Levinson made such reckless decisions in my care that he almost got me killed. Dr Levinson had decided on a diagnosis for me before he ever met me. Our first conversation was brief and just him collecting information on my treatment history. He insisted I that I *needed* specific meds that I had tried and done poorly on in the past. Then he didn't see me for a week, came back and told me I'd be discharged the next day - a decision he had reached, again, without speaking to me. Me as well as three consecutive shifts of nurses voiced concerns over the discharge order. (While I was packing to leave, my nurse was literally pleading with his supervisor to not let me walk out the door.) I was sent home without a discharge plan. Right before a long holiday weekend. While acutely suicidal. I credit interventions by my nurses and two other patients on my last night there with keeping me alive that day. I eventually got the help I needed at another hospital, where the treatment team arrived at a different diagnosis and spent a month helping me stabilize before discharging me to a lower level of care.
