However I've noticed since I have had a baby and bring in a stroller, the employees follow me throughout the entire store. Last night was the third time this had happened and this was a bit out of control. I was in the back area and the male associate literally stood next to my stroller the entire time. He literally could've just pushed it. I was on one end and he was at the handles. Just standing there. The entire time. He was pretending to take photos but it was obvious he was just following me. Everytime I moved or stopped. He moved and he stopped. This store must have a lot of theft which is sad. But as someone who used to make multiple purchases in this store - I will no longer be frequenting. I don't know what type of profiling this is. Strangely my other friend with a stroller wasn't being followed. Whether it's because I have a stroller and they think I'm going to dump things in there or what, I'm an adult. With money and a baby. I don't need to steal. But I guess I'm not buying either.

Horrible experience no accountability. Businesses should be more respectful and mindful of the gas and time people take to travel to drop things off, unbelievable.

I am so happy that I found this shop! I was originally looking for some lingerie for my boyfriends birthday, but oh my gosh I left with so much more and I couldn't have been more satisfied! Nancy is the absolute best at providing top notch customer service and professionalism. I personally try to support local home grown businesses and I can see how much passion she has for her customers and products I'm never going anywhere else! I left with three beautiful pieces of lingerie all of which were so reasonably priced I couldn't leave with just one, a new toy, a pheromone spray which smells heavenly, two pairs of leggings, and some organic lube! She threw in some samples for a throat relaxer, a cream to apply after shaving to keep you soft and silky, and two different types of stimulants for him/her. And all of this made for a fantastic birthday get away! ;) If your looking for waist training specifically Nancy's got you covered! I'll be coming here for that as well and if you need more proof you should follow them on Instagram because the example photos will blow you away! Honestly go and have a look around in store for yourself, they have everything you could want and more with such a wide variety of products and even more for online orders! Vannessa helped me get into a faja post bbl and lipo.It's my first time coming to a store like this and thankfully the girls here are very friendly and have a lot of patience. I Tried on at least 4 different styles until i found the one that made my body look the best! I Must say i'm impressed with all that these body shapers do. Starting With How the least size you expect to fit will SQUISH in and SNATCH YOU UP!!! & She Mentioned The Aloe Vera & Cold Therapy method that thy Carry & It's Amazing . I felt the need to post a review as I don't really post reviews much. This time I'm posting because I got the best customer service from Kimberly at Montclair not once, but twice. I came in for a faja and was immediately discouraged because I couldn't fit into their largest size because of my swelling. Kimberly was patient and calmed me down and lessened my anxiety and patiently helped me successfully put on the faja for the first time. She educated me about how to put it on properly and showed me without making me feel belittled. She then explained that I will fit into it nicely as weeks pass and my swelling will reduce. She is a pretty girl, smart, caring and extremely helpful young lady. She will go to high places and will be successful wherever she goes. Please give her the accolades that she deserves! If yelp could allow me to give more then 5 stars, I would definitely give it a 10. Wandolyn was by far the kindest and must helpful individual. She recommended a waist trainer specifically for my goals especially coming from a guy that never wore a waist trainer in his life, I was nervous. I went to Romance Boutique Secrets 4 weeks post op from liposuction surgery in need of a better faja. They have quality garments of all shapes and sizes to fit anyones needs. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive due to sensitivity from the surgery and Kimberly made me feel very comfortable and helped fit me in the correct sized garment. She was confident, knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed which was great because I didn't. I returned to Romance Boutique 2 weeks later for another style faja and was so happy to see Kimberly again. She remembered be and was surprised to see me so soon. The best adult store in the IE even an LA rival. Don't let the outside strip mall image mask the beauty awaiting you inside! This store belongs on Madison Avenue in NYC. The store was a dollhouse. My wife loved it and getting her into an adult store is harder than I was inside after watching her try on multiple sexy lingerie outfits. Nancy! Thank you so much for not letting me freak out when I didnt feel compressed enough with the post-op garment I was given from my Doctor. Nancy promised me I would feel better in a week with the STAGE 1 POST-SURGICAL & POSTPARTUM faja I purchased & ladies let me tell you!!!!! I feel amazing I'm on my third week post-op, it fits great as my swelling has been decreasing! I also purchased their ABDOMINAL FLATTENING BOARD AFTER LIPOSUCTION and it has kept the right compression on my abdomen. Lastly, but not least their LUMBAR BACK BOARD has helped me with my posture. Love this store! Prices are amazing, and the staff is awesome. They are always making great suggestions, and are friendly as well as knowledgeable. They made my boyfriend and myself feel more comfortable and at ease. We shopped around at other competitors, and found most of them either did not have our item in stock, but were also charging two to four times more than Romance Boutique. Love this place! Went in looking for garments to lift my derrière. Had some idea of what I needed but wanted to look at options and prices. Thalia was very patient, very cool. She made be feel comfortable (no easy feat). Anyway, love that they offer lay-a-way. Love that they'll order items for you and have them custom fit if need be. There was an Asian couple not to far from us that were asked if they needed help or had questions. I finally flagged an employee down after 3 passed us by without even a smile. The employee was a short young lady with glasses, did not smile at us just proceeded to open the products I asked her to open. I liked the item and decided to take it. An employee returned from break and the same young lady that helped us smiled and greeted her as she returned from her break. But for us not a smile. The young man that checked us out at the register again no smile. My girlfriend made a small comment and we laughed thinking maybe he would crack a smile but no. It seemed very unusual to not be helped nor have friendly service as I frequently visit the Lovers stores. This was my first time at the Brea location as my girlfriend and I had dined out for galentines. This visit really put me out of the mood to purchase anything more from the store. I would strongly suggest to have all the employees have a lesson in customer service since customer service is to serve customers. I'm not saying you have to follow me around and hold my hand but a welcoming smile is nice and asking every customer if they need help or have questions is mandatory in my eyes as a customer especially that I did have questions. TLDR: We will not be back and warn other POCs to not come to this store. They will treat you like…read morecriminals. Went in on a Saturday morning. The store only had 2 other customers in there. We walked in and said hello and already the old white lady gave us attitude saying she was stressed that there were so many people in the store already. Ok? That's the greeting we got lol already strange. But then we notice that everyone else in the store was white and we were the only two Asians. It just felt weird when another group of white girls came in and got a great greeting and immediate help/attention. My sister made a comment about it being a little hot in the store but was ignored. As soon as the white girl a few minutes later made the same comment, all of a sudden the old lady could get up and turn the thermostat down. She then told the group of white girls that the thermostat was down and to let her know if it was too cold. Ok fine whatever, we're here for clothes not customer service. My sister and I find outfits to try on. I look around the dressing area and there's NO SIGNS saying to not go in without an employee. So I go in first to try stuff on while my sister waits outside. (The only sign we could see was on the wall that said 2 max items in the room. So us being good people took two items in while my sister waited with the other outfits outside). As I'm naked in the dressing room, the old lady suddenly pops up asking who's in the dressing room and being super aggressive. She says we're not allowed to go in without an employee. (Which is weird because there were two other customers in there before me and she didn't bat an eye? and also there were no signs anywhere that were visible) I say sorry and tell her to wait and that I'm naked like three times. She keeps trying to get me to come outside of the dressing room. I tell her I'm naked and she says to just come outside anyways? LADY, you're lucky I was in a vulnerable position because I should've been yelling more. After the 3rd time, I oblige her and come out HALF NAKED. She tells me I'm not allowed to try things on without permission and snatches the items from my hand. After being ignored, not talked to, and then being told to come out of a dressing room half naked is both rude and humiliating. We were made to feel like criminals and less than. It was such a surreal experience. After the old lady took the clothes from my hands and I was able to finally put clothes on, I ask where the sign is that says I can't try on clothes? At this point a younger employee helps us and points at a sign THAT'S HANGING ON A POLE AND ON THE FLOOR NOT VISIBLE TO ANYONE. I tell her how unprofessional it is and that the other employee was rude and yanked me out of a dressing room with barely my shorts and bra on. The old lady doesn't even apologize or acknowledge us. At this point the store felt hostile and unwelcoming. We left without trying anything on. The old white lady continued to ignore us and cater to the other white customers. We will not be back and warn other POC to not come to this store.
