We were in stop and go traffic on the Woodinville-Duvall road and he was behind me. I didn't go for 2 seconds so he honked. I waved to him. He then began yelling slurs and names out the window at me, flipping me off, and what was really scary was he was driving what looked like 3 inches my the back of my car. Every time we stopped he would scream that I was a "f---king b--ch". I am a teacher and was literally saying "I hope you have a good day!! We aren't going anywhere and you are being very aggressive! you need to stop!" What he didn't realize was that the name of the company "wizard" was in greenish blue letters on the side of the truck WITH a arborist trailer in the back. Anyway. If someone wants work done by someone with this character, then go for it. He is not a nice person and truly was acting irrational on the road. ***edited to add context: this was completely stopped. The car moved up about 5 feet ahead again within 2 seconds. This was not dangerous again because it was stand still traffic (see above that we were stopped long enough for me to hear you scream at me) regardless of me gesturing that the other car ahead of me ALREADY stopped by the time I moved up, you should never speak to the way you did especially with your business plastered across your truck.

Tim was the first one to respond and he came super quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote right from the start. I got to compare his quote with various others and he had the best rate. I could also tell that I can trust him because he was very upfront with everything he said he wanted to do and could do and he answered all the questions I had. He has lived up to that promise and more this whole time. Professionalism and dedication to work: from the little that I know about biweekly yard maintenance I feel like most landscapers come out for an hour or two for the quoted price. However, Tim has worked in our yard for sometimes over three hours because he is dedicated to getting the job done and making sure the yard looks great. He cares very much about the work that he does and that's why he stays until the job is done. Odds & Ends: we had two dead trees in the yard that had to be cut down, and Tim took it upon himself to find an excellent arborist that he knew of that would give us a good price and do excellent work. We also got other quotes and indeed found that Tim's recommendation was the best. If that wasn't enough, Tim noticed that we had some potentially broken fences and as predicted the fence fell down a few days later with a giant gust of wind. Tim offered to fix the fence with a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend Tim enough because I admire his work ethic and his commitment to getting the job done. Usually I try to work with businesses that have lots of good reviews already but they all had to start somewhere so I thank my lucky stars that I became one of his first customers and got in on the ground floor!

We used Jakes tree service back in the fall of 2020. We had several trees cut down and several…read moreothers limbed. The initial bidding took a little bit as he rescheduled but it was very reasonable. He was bonded and insured and a vet which we wanted to support. At the time he was a newer company but stated he was licensed, bonded and insured. His first visit out he did a ton of limbing and cut down about 4/5 small trees in less than a day. The one worker he had somehow burned up their chainsaw that day and their was some issues between them for it so things were slowed a bit. He also fell out of a tree here because of improper harnessing which was exacerbated by a prior injury for him he was still settling. As part of the quote their was minimal clean up involved as it was all left on our property in a huge pile in the back of our yard. We did ask that usable firewood was cut into manageable pieces so we could cut it for firewood that could be used. Jake's crew consisted of him and one guy, he ties off to do the job. He does not have a bucket truck or other tools that we saw, unless they are rented. Towards the end of day one we agreed he would return in a couple days to finish the work so he could rest. Since he was already returning we agreed on additional work and the price was raised of course. Day 2 did not happen until a few weeks later rather than a few days as we agreed. He stated he had a bigger job he needed to finish before he returned and his kids birthday. There was considerable back and forth and he came out with an excavator to move the large wood and piles when he returned. Unfortunately he broke a huge slab of cement on our property with the excavator and never mentioned it. We let this go but it should have been mentioned. At the end of Day 2 he agreed to come back and finish limbing in a couple days when he was less sore. That never happened. He did come back though for remaining money owed a few days later which we paid with a promise to return. We also despite all of the delay and issues tipped him well. After we paid him current we agreed he'd return to finish limbing after he'd rested from his sore back. Fast forward to 6 months later and we have finally reached him and he responds and tells us he left the state for awhile. We ask him if he can finish the work we agreed on and he tells us "We're squared up" but he'll do the work at his new rate which has tripled. We set up 3 different times for him to come look and bid the remaining work since his rates are raised and he last minute cancels each time. Yesterday being the third cancelled estimate. At this point we know that it's time to cut our losses. Hopefully others have a better overall experience.

I called the owner and he said he would install replacement plants and make it right. Again, they came to my house and were late. The owner who claims to be a project mgr did not come, did not check the quality of work, or communicate in any way. Four weeks later, I have to weed constantly, plants are nearly dead because they are in direct sun, and found that the mulch that I was required to purchase to hold water for the new plants was used to cover the existing weeds which were not removed. I do not recommend you trust them to do the work that you are paying them to do.
