Beware that this place has been known to card you right when you walk in the door - especially on Thursday/Friday nights to keep "kids" out. The staff here is why I always come here versus any other bricks and mortar store of this kind. They've been around for many years and have always kept a great reputation and an amazing staff on hand. The people they employ are actually really well educated and know a good chunk about the products on the floor and what they don't - they know exactly who to have you speak to. They don't make anything a big deal or try to be flirtatious with you (this was so weird at the shop by the highway near Pilot in Milford - trucker's paradise... *shudders*). These girls handle themselves professionally and really do treat everyone with respect. I'm sure they see an interesting array of people, so I'm sure they get plenty of practice. Their selection of products is really vast - my only suggestion would be to not let prices sway you to a decision - there are many brands in many different price points. Though, often with these kind of things, more money means better quality, longer lasting, and less likely to break. Secondly - ask for help. If you aren't familiar with the brands (there's about 10-20+ featured in each aisle) then don't just try to guess. Some of the brands are Chinese based and don't have any branding on them about BPA requirements, lead requirements, etc. (these are "intimate pleasures" so I imagine you wouldn't like to get poisoned by them.) If you're in need of something, visit here. Unless it's something really, REALLY out of the box, they're likely to carry it and in all the color options and styles offered by the company. And if they don't - ask one of the staff, I'm sure there's a better option or a similar one they can direct you to.

But the shop is very close to my home & others in the bridal party were using them. I took one adult dress and two flower girl dresses in. The adult dress just needed adjustment in the straps, and the girls' dresses needed to be taken in and one needed a hem. I also asked them to make a sash a permanent part of the dress by tacking the sashes in and making a bow that snapped on. As is their policy, I paid $130 in full for the services that I asked for at the time of the fitting. When I picked up the dresses the sashes were still unattached. When I called and asked why, they said that they decided not to. They never called me to discuss. I mentioned that I paid in full, and they said that I hadn't paid for that service. If it's their policy to have customers pay in full, then why didn't they charge for all the services??? Basically, I feel as thought they charged for a service, didn't perform the service, and are not issuing a refund for the service. Had they just called me, I would have picked up the dresses and brought them elsewhere. Do yourself a favor - do not use Bustles and Beaus. As an aside - they are also altering the bride's dress for this same wedding. The wedding is 48 hours away and her dress does not fit yet. Save yourself the stress and find a better seamstress.

The dress was returned unworn (registered receipt) and Cynthia refused acknowledge the return, apologize, to return any of our emails or calls. There was no offer to get the correct dress and no refund. Beware of this place. We are filing a claim against them. We are out almost $280 and had to get a new dress at the last minute somewhere else. If you don't believe this, we have pics Cynthia texted of the color the dress was going to be and of the color of the dress that arrived.
