I keep trying to like Romeo's but they keep making it hard. Yes, their sauce is good. It's about my favorite to be honest. You pay a lot for what you get. I guess you can argue quality over quantity. I ordered a pound of wings and a "Tuscan" salad. The salad was advertised as "Lettuce, Fresh Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella, Parmesan Cheese, Balsamic Dressing". The lettuce was very crisp and the tomatoes ripe. The mozzarela was good but there was no parmesan and the dressing was Marzetti in a plastic pouch. My pound of wings was...how to say...underwhelming. I transferred the wings, minus the half inch of buttery sauce, into a dish that I had zeroed on my kitchen scale (new and calibrated). I've been a loyal fan for years. Today was terrible. I realize it was a BOGO so they may be a bit busier but there was plenty of staff. This short-staffed COVID BS did not apply. The parking lot was full of folks waiting. My order was supposed to be ready at 8:25 pm. I went inside around 8:30 and it was not ready. I was asked to wait 10 minutes, which I really didn't have time to do. I asked for a refund and after the cashier telling me it was fine but she'd be right back about the refund, I stood for about 5 minutes. The manager came over and asked me if I would just wait 10 minutes. I said I really needed to go and was hoping it would be ready at the designated time I was given (now about 10 minutes past). He offered no apology and just said, "you can't wait 10 minutes?" A pretty rude response. I asked if it was in the oven, he said it was, and then as soon as I turned sideways he told someone to go ahead and still put it in the oven, "he's gonna take it." 15 minutes later, I went inside again and still waited for it to come out of the oven. At that time I heard one of the female employees say to whoever was making the pizzas, "You're fucking disgusting, with or without the gloves on." I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that nothing was done to my order but the next thing I head was "it's for Ross." Me. I received my order just a moment later. Either way, this is terrible business and is not something any customer wants to hear or wouldn't question. No apologies were provided at any time. I should add that everyone was very nice with the exception of the manager who acted like I was being an asshole because my order wasn't ready in time. A few minutes late I could understand but 10 that was actually 25, and being lied to about it being in the oven is ridiculous. Called Romeo's to deliver for the big game. Total fumble. After 1 hour of expected delivery, we finally called to check in. "Romeo's, Romeo's wherefore art thou?" At the end of the conversation, no food and no delivery for the game. No pizza. No wings. No offer of future comp. Disappointed and still hungry and mouths to feed. With other pizza shops swamped, I ordered carryout from Rusty Bucket in Solon. Good stuff! Siracha wings were great! And so was the Big Sicilian pizza at Rusty Bucket. Pizza is OK, but the place is run poorly. I moved to the area around 18 months ago. Ordered many times, and about 6 out of 10 or OK, but the four times being wrong is too frequent. I am done with them, not fun debating with low paid people when you are hungry. Even the location owner can't be bothered to return a phone call. I've ordered from them a few times by doordash. As I mentioned before the first time I walked in myself and nobody would wait on me so I walked out. Most of the time when I ordered from delivery it was time but the last time it had too much seasoning on it. I'm not sure which seasoning it was but it was as if somebody was sabbatoging my pizza. I used to be a regular customer here, ordering at least once or twice a month. Not sure if there has been a transition in management, but last year, the quality of the pizza changed drastically--we received some pizzas undercooked, some burnt, some with large dough "bubbles." We stopped ordering for awhile, and decided to give them a shot again after getting some coupons in the mail. (I'm a sucker for sales.) Never again, however. After waiting for an hour and a half to receive our delivery, I decided to call to check on the status. Me: Hi, I'm calling to check on the status of my order. Rep: Let's see... Jenn...? Me: Yes, Jennifer. Rep: Why? Me: Why, what? Rep: Why are you calling about your order? Me: Because I haven't received it. Rep: That's because it's a pickup. Me: It should've been delivery. Rep: Oh, well. It'll be an extra $2.50 if you want it delivered. Me: Okay... however, I don't think asking "Why are you calling to check on your order?" is an appropriate way to address your customer. Perhaps, "How may I help you?" would be more fitting. Rep: Well, anyway, how do you want to pay for the delivery charge? Me: Is there a manager there I can speak with? Your dismissive tone is offensive and disrespectful, especially considering my order was wrong. Rep: Sure. Here he is... I won't go into the details of that conversation, but suffice it to say, he was only slightly less disrespectful than the rep, continuously defended the rep's responses, and his asking me why I was calling, and sounded uncertain of whether he was actually the manager when I asked. His justification was, "He's new, everyone makes mistakes." Be that as it may, as a business owner or representative, if a customer expresses legitimate concerns about how they were treated or spoken to, the appropriate response is not a defense of the actions that led to the offense, but an apology at the very least, and if you really care about your customers' choice to spend their money with you, an assurance that you'll address the issue to prevent it from happening again. Pizza chains are a dime a dozen. I'll be spending my dimes elsewhere, and if customer service is important to you, I recommend you do too. read more

Okay the only reason I went with romeo's was because they were opened later then the pizza place I like. Oh my god. First off i was given a quoted time. When the guy got there with the pizza. He did not knock on the door or ring the doorbell. He opened my door stuck his head in and said pizza. Seriously. I know my door was unlocked I was expecting pizza or to go out in a sec. The guy opened the door. just opened the door. The pizza was greasy as all get out and really gross. I'm from NY and am very picky about my pizza. This is the only place I'll get pizza from. They make their own dough and sauce and all their ingredients are fresh. I saw some people complain about their delivery times- sporting events and certain holidays are insanely busy in pizzerias. I don't know why they wouldn't just go pick it up themselves. The Twinsburg location has always had great pizza. Ive never bothered buying wings or anything else from them because I love the pizzas. Fast forward to an hour and a half later and the pizza still wasn't here. By the time it arrived, my entire order was cold. Pizza wasn't even warm. Horrible customer service! Before placing my order, I gave my address and asked if they deliver to our area. The representative verified they do and quoted a delivery time of 45 minutes. After an hour and a half, I called to inquire as to where our food was. Unfortunately my experience was not good!!!! Ordered a pizza on March 11, 2017 when I left work for pick up at their location which was promised in "30 minutes". I arrived at 35 minutes after order was placed, went to pick up my order, counter person pulled my ticket and said it would be $17.50, gave him my debit card, I signed the sales slip and proceeded to wait for my pizza. They had lost the order and had no pizza. Asked me if I could wait 15 minutes and they would have it ready for me. Unfortunately that was not an option for me as I had commitments for the evening and I needed to leave asap. I asked for them to credit my account....... WHAT A PRODUCTION!!!!!!!! They said they credited the account but could not give me a receipt - no one knew how. After several days of not seeing the credit to my bank account, I called Romeo's. Long story short.....
