Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I review a lot of dentists. I always want to find the best…read moreones whenever I move into a new area. B/c I am a total dental chicken I always start with those who provide sedation (not just laughing gas and pills). This office had good reviews and when I told them I had a toothache they got me in very quickly. As always I had difficulty getting xrays done b/c of my anxiety and was basically crying (embarassing). The hygienist Carol was so, so sweet and patient and we finally did xrays via digital xrays and then a 3D option as well. I met w/ the dentist Dr. Keith who was also really kind, patient and thoroughly explained everything to me. I'll be going back to get multiple issues fixed but feel relieved and happy to be in what seems to be good hands.

Looking for a more than qualified oral surgeon led me to Dr. Marxen. I met with his staff, went over the procedure, and also voiced my concerns about too much anesthesia, and made my sensitivity to it very clear. The day of my procedure was easy. I was in and out in two hours as I followed their instructions. Post recovery I was not overly woozy and had no ill effects from the drugs. While I had post opp pain from impacted teeth removal, within two days I was back to a normal routine. And all I had to take was Tylenol and ibuprofen! The only painful thing really was listening to the nursing staff talk about lunch before my procedure (as I couldn't eat and was really hungry). If you want someone who's not going to have you living a nightmare for a month after removing teeth, I highly recommend this group.

I quickly googled dental places near my current location that give back to the community and Crisafulli popped up - https://gentledds.com/about/community-involvement/. This was honestly the main deciding factor along with the great reviews that I read online and also the support I got when I called the office on an urgent basis and they were able to assess the situation and scheduled an appointment for me on the same day. My heart was content and I felt relieved. I'm so grateful and happy with the amazing care I received from over the phone as well as in person ( staff and doctors alike). I felt heard, seen, valued and appreciated the empathy I received from everyone on the team. 110% recommend you check them. Namaste

They gave me 5 days to either pay or receive payment from insurance. they were super distrusting and rude over the phone :(

I have been a patient here for many years, on and off, and unfortunately I need to share a…read morerecurring issue around insurance transparency and professionalism. I stopped coming last year after the practice dropped my Delta Dental insurance. I recently decided to give them another try because I now have dental insurance through Cigna. Before my most recent appointment, I sent my insurance information in advance by email and also confirmed it by phone. The office booked the appointment with no mention of any issues. I drove there, took time out of my day, and once I was already sitting in the chair, I was told that the practice had dropped all insurance and asked if I wanted to proceed, pay out of pocket, and then personally deal with whatever reimbursement my insurance might or might not provide later. This conversation happened with a dental hygienist, not an office administrator, despite the practice having administrative staff, and it was extremely uncomfortable. It felt inappropriate for a clinical provider to be put in the position of handling a billing and insurance issue. I declined and left, having wasted time commuting and attending an appointment that should never have been booked under these circumstances. This same situation has happened to me before and is exactly why I stopped going previously. What is most concerning is that all responsibility is placed on the patient. You are expected to manage insurance reimbursement yourself, the practice takes no accountability, and they reserve the right to charge whatever they choose, often well above standard ADA fee guidelines. There was also no follow-up of any kind from the office after the visit. No courtesy call, no acknowledgment, and no attempt to address the situation, which further reinforced the lack of professionalism. The office is beautiful and the staff is welcoming, but the lack of upfront communication, pricing transparency, and professional handling of insurance matters feels misleading. I am sharing this so others are aware and can ask very direct questions before booking, especially if insurance coverage matters to you.
