One of five LA metro train stops that have support both the A (Blue) Line and E (Expo) Line, Pico…read moreStation is the closest stop to both Crypto.com arena (home of the Lakers and Kings) and LA Convention Center. It's an island above ground platform, with trains going both directions, accessible from the middle and no gates to enter or exit. That being said, it never seems as busy as it should be and is a bit hidden, and hasn't been upgraded to the new signage standards of the newer stations (it's especially important here since taking the wrong train means going to Santa Monica instead of Long Beach or vice/versa). Some landmarks visible from the station are the Hope+Flower apartment complex, the Unicorn museum, and the graffiti decorated unfinished Oceanwide Plaza Towers. I used it on Primary Election Day (free rides on all Metro trains/buses) to transfer from the A Line to the E line, going in the same direction.

It used to be that you could see Staples Center right when you exit here, but due to the recent construction of high rise apartments, that's not possible anymore. The Fashion District and L.A. Live are also well within walking distance from this station. I highly recommend taking the metro if you're not a fan of driving into the heavy L.A. traffic during peak hours. Remember to check the Metro if you're getting on the right train. The light blue dot on from means it is the Expo Line!

You can connect with the Metro Blue (A) and Expo Line (E) lines on the upper platform or the Red (B) and Purple (D) on the lower platforms not to mention the Silver (J) line above ground. There are tap stands and gates at every entrance and exit, even between switch and when you tap between trains it simple "Transfers" and doesn't reduce your fare at all. I think I had three transfers from near Studio City to NoHo to this station to the Blue line the other day... Was kind of cool! Definitely enjoy going green and riding metro when I can. I did here a rumor that the new K (Pink) Line might extend over to here as well at some point which would be pretty great. It's often busy here and the Expo and Blue are constantly running. The Red and Purple lines don't run as frequently as the others and as the day goes on, but it's about a 10 minute wait usually until after 5 PM where things shift and by night maybe every 15 to 30 minutes. I believe eventually Metro and this station will get back to later hours again and eventually run all night. Great Metro staff and the most you'll see at any station other than Union station. You can catch trains and/or exit from through The Bloc shopping center or across the street on the corner of 7th & Flower St.

Public transportation in Los Angeles, California…read more.. We don't have subways in Hawaii. That's why mainland transportation system is fascinating to me. It's organized and efficient! We had to use the Metro because parking at Exposition Park was sold out per information on an email. Tim knew that the 7th Street Station in Downtown LA would get us to the concert. We parked around 6th and Flower in a metered street parking. It's free after 10pm. Uhg. It's better than parking in a paid lot. We got Tap Cards at a kiosk, entered the station, hopped on the Metro, and got to Exposition Park in no time! Note: it's not the cleanest nor the safest. We just walked quickly and maintained awareness of our surroundings.

I never really write long reviews, but after what I've been through with Chique Transport, I feel…read morelike I have to. I am constantly traveling in and out of LA, and it's always such a hassle to find transportation. Sometimes you luck out with the options through ride apps, sometimes they cancel on you, and other times they arrive much later than you anticipated in a vehicle that looks nothing like what you had been expecting. Certainly, that's a strain nobody wants to add on top of the look-and-feel mess already associated with getting onto an airplane. I've had several Chique Transport rides with another one booked, and I can honestly say that this is the only company I'll be using from now on. What first impressed me was how easy it was to communicate and book. When I first asked, it was easy, straightforward, and transparent. No back-and-forth confusion, no undisclosed fees, and no waiting ages for someone to respond. I received a response immediately, with a literal quote and everything. That in itself made me feel good because I knew they respected me and my time. The day of the delivery was when I realized this company represented a different class than others I have employed. It was not just on time but early that the car pulled up. Do you know what? I was in a new home, but it was spotless inside and out, smelled clean and fresh, and walking inside felt like I had just opened the door of something brand-spanking new. The seats were comfortable, the ride was smooth, and everything had a level of luxury. That type of comfort comes in handy when you're about to fly or getting off a long flight. Now, for the service itself--this is where Rayan (the owner) makes the difference. He's that rare kind of person who immediately makes you feel like you're in good hands. Nice, professional, well-dressed, and very polite. He helps with luggage unasked and makes sure the music and temp are good for you and drives so freaking chill (almost unheard of in LA). He knows the city and how to navigate multiple routes around LAX traffic -- that alone is worth everything. And it's not just about the driving -- it's about taking care of you on the way. Most importantly for me, the reliability. For anyone who has traveled, the worst feeling is not knowing whether your ride will ever arrive. When I'm traveling with Chique Transport, I've never had to be concerned. They've been early, waiting without complaint, and I have always arrived where I needed to be on time. That peace of mind is priceless, as missing a flight or worrying about making my way across town ruins the whole experience. I've also had visiting family and friends from out of town that I've reserved through Chique Transport, and every single one of them said to me, "Wow, that was the best ride to or from an airport I have ever had." It's great to know I can suggest them without worrying how they will fare. Repetition is good, and this company seems to get it right every time. Another thing to note is how open-minded Rayan is. Plans go awry, flights are delayed, luggage takes ages to come out -- he gets it all and adapts without making you feel rushed or pressured. That kind of patience is so uncommon in this industry. I've made last-minute changes, and he always does it in stride -- calmly. Publisher's description: Need advice for your pro wrestling career? I've used Chique Transport for airport transfers and now twice also for other occasions, nothing to complain about. It's more than a ride service -- it's a luxury end-to-end experience. When I climb into their cars, I don't feel like just another customer. I feel like a VIP. To sum it up: if you want luxury, reliability and a company that actually cares about its clients, this is the one. Chique Transport is by far the best I've ever used out here in LA. Rayan operates his business with integrity, professional, and strong work ethic and it manifests in every aspect. Thank you Rayan for making transportation stress-free and (dare I say) enjoyable. You have definitely made a lifelong customer and I will recommend Chique Transport to anyone that needs first class service.
