They also responded to my Yelp project request very quickly. They completed the work on time (even a day early), the team was courteous and professional, and the quality of their work is great. They listened to direction well, and corrected any issues that arose (they put back a light fixture in the wrong place and moved it after we pointed it out). I feel they knew what they were doing and the best products to use. They covered our flooring and elements that were not getting painted to prevent damage and I can't find any paint spills or smudges anywhere. Our project also involved a lot of wallpaper removal. I was nervous about this because if the wallpaper is not removed correctly the wall can be damaged or leftover wallpaper glue can cause the new paint not to adhere correctly. But it seems they did a great job with that part too. They communicated well with us via text. We weren't able to check on the project in person every day so they sent photos and details on progress. I plan to use them again for additional painting projects.

The edges crack when clicking together. However, the store refused to let us return for a full refund. Their policy is to charge a 25% restocking fee even though there was a manufacturing defect. Even in our case where everyone agreed it was defective the "regional manager" still refused to refund. So we are out 25% and the money it cost to pay our installers. They also had a customer service rep call us per their policy from overseas who had no idea about our case and also refused to refund our 25% fee. I'm assuming they plan to resell this defective product since we had to pay for "restocking" which seems criminal. I have never encountered a store with such a horrible policy and negligent upper management. We plan to sue them for the 25% they owe us because that is only fair.

Without getting into it, I had no idea how we were going to get out of the situation. I went to Sherwin Williams in Rock Hill, and showed them the over 200 photos we had taken of the previous work. Even they were shocked. I told them we were at a loss and didn't know what to do. They confidently handed me a business card saying, "this guy can fix it." The business card was for William at Reliable Eagle. I called William, and he met me at our house the same day. I could tell he was shocked at how bad the paint job was. Before leaving the house he told me that he was confident he could sand everything back down, fix the imperfections, and give us an amazing paint finish. I was nervous to say the least after having such a bad experience with the last painter. I trust the folks over at SW so I decided to just take the leap and pay the deposit to Reliable Eagle. Then we waited about a week and a half for his crew to start. The anticipation was killing me! The day his crew showed up, it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. While some gentlemen were expertly masking the house William was going over the walls and trim with bright lights alongside his foreman. I know enough Spanish to know he was telling them it needed to be perfect. I came back at the end of the day, and saw they had literally done over 100 small drywall repairs, and sanded the walls all the way down. All my floors were covered, cabinets protected, and the taping was perfect. The second day they had used wood filler on all the trim, and literally fixed every imperfection. The next day everything was sanded down completely. I could not believe my eyes. It was truly next level prep work. Today their crew wrapped up painting, and I still cannot believe how amazing the work is. It truly is the kind of work you expect in a custom home. I cannot tell you how much of my stress is gone. I immediately called Sherwin Williams to let them know how great the work was. If you are looking to hire a painting company, I highly recommend you call William. Anyone can put paint on a wall, but not everyone can do such amazing prep work that it feels like the house was literally remodeled. In short: William owns the best painting company I have ever seen. I will never hire another painter. If you want your home to look amazing, do not call anyone else. I only wish I had found him first, and we could have avoided so much pain with the last company. If I ever have a son, I might just name him William. They are reliable... like an eagle.

I would not recommend working with TruBlue…read more We hired them to build a single wall, install French doors, and move a light switch. At first, our experience was great. Wendy, the general contractor, was prompt in communication, provided a detailed quote, and scheduled the project quickly. However, once work began, it went downhill. Their crew was supposed to start work Monday morning. They texted Sunday night and said someone called out and asked if they could start Tuesday. No problem, things happen. I was in a meeting Monday afternoon and got a call from them asking if they could come right then. I had to rearrange the rest of my day to accommodate them but did. They showed up and only stayed for two hours. They asked if they could start at 8 am each day and we said yes, they could come as early as they would like. They did not show up at 8 am on any day, but rather closer to 10 am. The project was supposed to take at most, 4 days. Instead, it took 8. They blamed this on us, for making changes throughout the project. However, those changes were minor (like changing our minds on the door knobs for the French doors, and providing new ones, before they had even installed them) and I explicitly asked if any of those changes were going to hold up the process. They said no. They initially built the wall and it was crooked. We asked them to fix it and they tried, but it was still very warped. The mud was applied unevenly and not sanded well. They applied paint anyway. We had to ask them to redo this. They did and the wall is now straight, but the mud and paint overtop are still uneven. They installed trim poorly and unevenly, leaving rough edges and gaps. They did not patch the holes that the nail gun left or paint the trim. We are now stuck doing this. They moved the electrical switch to the incorrect place on the wall, despite me marking exactly where we wanted it and confirming placement with them in-person beforehand. Now it's too late to fix that. They didn't lay proper protection down on our floors and they were coated in white from dust and splattered paint. They said not to worry and they would scrub them. They didn't. We are left trying to remove debris from the hardwood floor cracks that is proving difficult to get fully clean. Most importantly, they re-wired the electrical incorrectly. Our switches don't work properly, or at all sometimes. We've gotten several quotes from other electrical contractors and they've all agreed -- This was a botched job. We are now looking at spending $4,000 to fix their mistakes. After all of this, we just wanted Wendy and her team out of our home so we wrote them a check to be done with it. Wendy never followed up on the quality issue updates. With us, after initial consult, their team's communication was poor and the quality of work/craftsmanship was very much lacking.
