Talking to the contractor was like having a discussion with an unruly New Yorker on the subway (he assumed that I was criticizing his work instead of listening to my simple question and had to quip). It took 30 minutes to ask one simple question (is top coat gloss or resin a service your team fulfills). I would only recommend if you're looking for a one time service and this company has the lowest price or a good discount. I appreciate quality and will pay for quality. I also love supporting small businesses and understand there's varying degrees of experience and structure in the startups. They came back later to waterproof the outside of my house at the bottom of a slope, where a rain chain did not quite do as good of a job of shoveling away the water compared to a gutter system with a downspout. Their workmanship and professionalism was excellent. But the best part is that they continue to take such good care of me now even over a year later. I had an issue where I thought the electrical outlets to the sump and dehumidifier were not working today - big thanks to Scott for texting me back on a weekend and especially to Brandon for coming out within 24 hours on a Saturday to help me problem solve the issue. He showed up and was kind and not at all impatient. I didn't realize those electrical outlets had their own dedicated switchbox outside the house! It was an easy fix. But as we were walking up to the house to problem solve it I had mentioned that I knew I was out of warranty by a few months. Brandon assured me that doesn't matter. They take care and ownership of their workmanship and would have repaired it for me regardless! And that's the extra that is above and beyond any other company.

The flooring company was okay, but the installer was a nightmare that ruined my brand new construction home. The floors ended up buckling after 3 weeks, glue everywhere, holes in walls. He took the old flooring out and did what he promised. I decided to have him put in the new flooring after much debate as he works by himself and it was about 2000 sq ft of flooring he had to put in.
