Inside this 1895 white Victorian home there are 14 vendors selling anything from Pyrex and Corningwear to cast iron, paintings, and used clothing. You name it from furniture, lamps, shelves and stuff to put on them, throw pillows, some clothing and signs: in other words a ladies shop. My wife likes to wander around looking at things and this is a regular stop especially if we go to Rock Hill for lunch. Not my male cut-of-tea, but you can see immediately why this is an attraction for women. This is not a place for old antiques, but for replicas of antiques. Sabrina greeted me when I entered the store and immediately had solutions for my returns and new purchases. I had placed an online order an hour earlier as I left the Independence Blvd Store that morning hoping to snag a clearance item. As I was directed to the section of the store for the patio cushions, I was going to return and purchase matching cushions, as the Pineville store definitely had more inventory! Again, Sabrina was training a new cashier and was so helpful to both of us as we navigated the process to get me out of there. In addition, Lourdes helped to expedite and bring the item that I ordered online to me, which was so generous! Both of these team members went above and beyond in customer service for me today and I wanted the district manager and the store manager to please recognize both of them and let them know that I'm telling everyone to shop at the Pineville store, even though I live Uptown. I mean this is the slowest checkout line I've ever been…read morein my life and it was only me in line. 2 checkout attendees, and of course they held the line for a customer to check around the store for a replacement item. Great part was after that customer came back and checked out. The employee proceeded to make sure all receipt registers were stocked and then walked off. What I perceived to be the manager called on the intercom for additional help after that employee walked off. But, he sat there behind the checkout counter and proceeded to chat with an employee for another 5 minutes instead of maybe manning the checkout himself... When I finally checked out, 10-15 minutes later, the backup checkout help never showed up and I checked out with the other attendee. I think next time I'll just order off Amazon, it would of probably been quicker!
