Ron Jon Surf Shop Gulf Coast Town Center I wanted to go to this shop for a couple of shirts and some other beachy items. We walked into this store, it was very clean and neat. We were the only people in the store at this time. One of the associates asked if we needed anything and if we needed any help finding anything. We politely said no and browsed around the store. I found 2 Ron Jon shirts and my wife found 1 that she liked. You may pay a little bit more for their items, but they seem to be much better quality. They have sandals, surf boards, all kinds of shirts, hats, sunglasses, and skateboards just to name a few. They do have some shirts on special, you will have to just shop around in the store to find them. I give this store a 4 out of 5 stars just on the beachy shirts alone. I know I will be back for other beach items in the future. Everyone should at least visit this store sometime it's a cool place for those hard to find beachy items. They are open 10-9 daily. As always, my favorite store! Regardless if I'm a tourist to each Ron Jon I go to, they're the best! This specific store welcomed you as you entered but the staff member at check out was not friendly. Could have been a bad day, as other staff were nice. The store was clean and organized. They also give you decals with every purchase! 4 out of 5 because of the check out experience, but 100% recommend checking this store out! read more

Go into Ron Jon and you're surely to find some sort of item - no matter what the price. Yeah, I get it. This is kind of a touristy shop with lots of memorabilia and goofy stuff. But every once in a while ( particularly with their sandal selection), you can hit the jackpot. Look around. Take your time. Prices are on par with other shops of this caliber. Know what you're buying and you may just luck out. You can always walk out with a key chain, can't you? Fun, fun. read more

There's everything to like about the iconic Ron Jon brand and the merch they sell. For me it started with a visit to the Cocoa Beach store back in the mid-80's and I've been a fan and patron since. We try to make our way into the Ft. Myers store when we travel from St. Pete Beach down to Marco Island for the day. It's a nice pit stop and excuse for me to add some clothing to my wardrobe. The Ft. Myers store is larger than some of the others but much smaller than Cocoa. And as always, I bought a new Ron Jon sticker when we visited last week. Cheers. read more

Great shop with plenty to choose from. Clean friendly staff & prices are great too. Found some T shirts and lotion that were reasonable. First Ron Jon surf shop we went to as in Cocoa Beach FL and have been a fan of these shops since carrying some favorites brands we like: Salt Life, Roxy, SunBum, etc. They even had accessories for your Go Pro if needed. $ star given as it was a bit to find customer service to get a size down from the upper wall. Wasn't overly happy to help me. This won't keep us from return shopping though. read more

We were on a weekend trip to visit FGCU and my daughter wanted to shop at Ron Jon's. We live in Melbourne close to the flagship store where we shop often. I have to give a 5 star to the Fort Myers store! The staff was very safe, helpful, kind, and the store was impeccably clean! Really rude and untrained employees. Talking about there tattoo experience and ignoring customers. Not to mention the inappropriate language with kids around. No one wants to hear about the tattoo on your cooter. We won't be back, too many other options to spend my money and we will spread the word. read more

Like the inventory, pricing not bad either. Staff is too young, poorly trained. You have to keep requesting help, while the girls are just chatting around the check out. Instead they should be getting to know their goods, had to educate them on what they carried and where it was located!!!!! PLEEEZE, and last time I was there was a year ago. Hope Corporate is reading. Nice location, lots of other shops and restaurants around. A kiddie play area is just outside the store. read more

Overpriced tourist trap yet ok to browse. Cute baby bikinis and clothes but almost $40 for baby clothes that they will outgrow quicker than the blink of an eye? Surfboards, skateboards galore but again, way over priced! Located in the Gulf Town center mall, you should come in to browse bit have some deep pockets to purchase. read more

Love this place. Beautiful items Friendly place . I came in for sun glass cable retainer however I noticed these gorgeous glasses . in tried them on loved it mire however it was loose fitting so my husband broke up a group of employees that were talking to asked if there might be another pair in stick better fitting. The sales associate A young long bearded man answered: " im sorry its probably loose due to constantly trying them on. " we said we understood but asked again do you have more in stock." He said:" probably but that would mean I'd have to look through a whole bunch of them." Ok im thinking ok im sorry did I interrupt a interesting conversation you want to get back to versus making a sale and making a customers happy? So we asked again" ..really like these. Do you have more" So he asked me:" what tower did you get these from?"( uummm I used to be in retail since I was 16 worked my way up to assisTant manager) you should be familiar what's in stock and where. I found another pair similar and tried it and it was perfect but I wanted the first pair best. I expressed that. He said "under this tower is where we keep our stock but I'd have to go through all of them." Again...i swear he said this. 3x obviously he didn't want to. I just settled fir the second pair in found . they are nice mind you but I wish he put more effort. Customers service is everything in retail. read more

Staff was friendly. Some items were way overpriced but was able to find some things at a reasonable price. Some of their items had the sizing off meaning I tried on a romper in my normal size and was almost stuck in it as I couldn't get it off without lots of wiggling! read more

Worst customer service ever. Walked around the store for 15-20 minutes , no greeting at all, no may I help you. All a bunch of unprofessional incompetent idiots working here. But what do you expect when you hire young teenagers and when the manager is under 18. You will get poor service. Epic fail at the store. Staff not helpful as we shopped around the store. Missed putting one item in our bag. Store wouldn't help later once we noticed as they said it is our responsibility to check the bag prior to leaving the store. Interesting choice to risk losing a customer over one inexpensive item. Worst Ron Jon I have ever been in. Manager "Chuck" stared at me then followed me around the store and then acted like he wasn't. I had nowhere to hide anything were my intentions to steal, although those weren't my intentions. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Ron Jon in Cocoa Beach.
