LOANCARE is not a reputable company in my opinion. They did not send a commitment letter to my county treasurers office and as a result I got a notice my tax payment was delinquent. LOANCAREs response was to insist I had to fax my tax bill to them, OK done. Then they refused to confirm they got the fax until I insisted a manager return my call. They still cannot tell me the status because the "tax department does not speak to customers, they do not speak to us (their own customer service) and we do not even have a phone number for them". Only after 2 calls and insisting did someone call me back and at least confirm they received my fax of the tax document. Yes this review is about Cunningham & Company, a good mortgage company does not hand over management of your loan to another company that provides terrible customer service and is at best incompetent, at worst possibly fraudulent. FWIW I have near perfect credit so it's not like there was any issue with selling my mortgage.
