I went up to Bothell to help my friend prepare her vintage pickup for sale. First step was to move it from the side yard into the garage. We discovered on Sunday that we could not budge it. After calling several tow companies that afternoon we were frustrated with many vague answers on service and/or price. Finally we called Ron May Towing. We reached Lisa with their answering service. She obviously was on top of her game, asking the right questions and making good quality suggestions. She determined that we needed the special service of a "relocate" on same property. As it was not an emergency situation she advised us to call at 8 am Monday morning to get a quote from one of their relocate specialists. We called Monday morning and it couldn't have gone any smoother. Ashley of Ron May Towing gave us a solid quote and within an hour Erin showed up to move the pickup. He was very professional, backing his rig through the side gate, snatching up the vintage pickup and maneuvering it into the garage stall with great skill. Car got towed from our apartment complex due to parking in someone's spot for 30 minutes while we attended an urgent matter. Charged a total of $880 from Seattle to Everett and misclassed the car by weight resulting in a larger charge. I was okay to pay the fine but the but the nature of the situation and big gorilla desk lady working there wasn't very cooperative. She wouldn't provide a damage report and refused to negotiate on any pricing. Insane to think you could get a ticket for reckless driving that would be on par with their fees. Said it took an 1.45 minutes to tow the car from Seattle to Everett at 9pm at night with no traffic. I just picked up the car in less than 50 minutes during traffic btw. Car has some scratches and damages that will be inquired about as well. They are just doing their job and that's fine but the individuals and sneaky pricing is the problem. read more

Unprofessional is an understatement with these people. I called at 10am on Saturday asking If I could pick up my car, the lady said to just let her know when I got there. Got there at 11am called her and she said someone would be right there. 1hr later noone came. Finally one of their guys got there but told me they didn't know there was someone waiting to pick up their car that I would have to wait even longer because he was in the middle of a tow. I called again and got hung up on. 30mn later I called again and was told that even though I called 1hr before I got there and waited for close to 2hrs I have to wait some more because they were busy and could not drop everything to come release my car. I've never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism and rudeness before. read more

Well other than the main phone number person lying about eta, the driver was responsive and professional. I am just not a fan of dishonesty. I specifically asked if they had a driver close and within the next 20 minutes, and she said yes. I want to thank this company for hiring such a kind and talented employee! I locked my keys in the car and was stranded at Providence Hospital! After a long visit with my dying relative I was so distraught especially when I left to find my keys locked in my vehicle! Well I did have road side assistance so I thought things would go smoothly. They sent out a two company and the man worked on my vehicle for a very long time and used several tools and could not get in! He finally gave up and suggested leave my vehicle and come back tomorrow to get help from someone else. Well I called my insurance back and they sent out a request for a different tow company- Ron May Towing and Recovery of Everett and the service was amazing, Mike arrived with a friendly, kind and professional attitude. He was so efficient he got my vehicle unlocked in less than 5 minutes using the same tools as the other company! I really appreciated his friendly, positive personality and skills! Garret was super understanding and extremely helpful. I do hope he realizes he saved every single thing I own except for a storage locker 5x5x5. Time efficient and pulled through while AAA could not. Waited 8 hours for trip A to eventually tell me lies and claim there was no help to be had unless it came from Olympia to Lake Stevens!!!!! Dicks then proceeded to tell me the truck was in too bad of condition to tow. (What the heck are tow services supposed to be for if not broken vehicles and the occasional other reasons?!!) Edit: This is saying I'm from San Fran., CA - I'm in Snohomish, which is where Dale came and assisted me. My car was dead when I got off work this afternoon. My insurance sent Ron May Towing, and they were so helpful and thorough. Dale came out and first spent about 30 minutes trying to jump my car, hoping that was all that the problem was. He was friendly and caring, explaining everything he did. We ended up having him tow it to our mechanic. He worked so hard - there is a lot of work involved in setting up to tow a vehicle! He made it look so easy. Dale went above and beyond with his service tonight. You don't see that kind of work ethic much these days. My insurance company contacted them and let them know that I needed an emergency tow I have an appointment I've been trying to make it to for over a week to have stuff done in my car they confirm the appointment and then they called me in person to then tell me that they couldn't do it if my vehicle had modified suspension and part of the toe was taking it to a place that deals with suspension and yet they refused it saying it was company policy and I asked for a copy of the policy and they told me to come down and get it myself. read more

TERRIBLE COMAPNY NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL DONT TRUST WITH PERSONAL INFO. My car got towed by them and the worker they sent to get my care lied to me and my partner and told us NOT to come pick it up tonight because they will charge extra and to come tmr morning so that's what we did and when we got there the man lied and said he never said that NOR did they allow us to pay the original price of $500 we ended up paying $700 for our car when it wasn't even parked in the wrong spot. Then when my partner is trying to tell them what their workers said that specific worker came inside therefor they were able to talk until worker started lying saying that's now what was said and now has to pay extra . He was very rude , and disrespectful even when towing the car beforehand and got in my sprinters face and at pickup they almost caught due to worker being disrespectful and scamming . read more

My daughter was driving my vehicle and it ended up having what we now know is a fuel pump that went out. Had to call or insurance to get it towed from Lake Stevens to Everett and this was done at 10:45. They said Ron May would be dispatched and be to us at midnight. Garrett showed up 15 minutes early, got the vehicle hooked up and we were home by 12:20 a.m. He is a wonderful driver and really enjoyed chatting with him during hook up and the drive. These guys made my morning in literally an hour 100% better. I was having one of those mornings where an HOA parking police HAD MY CAR TOWED when I did nothing wrong, talk about walking to your car at 6 AM to get to work at 6:30 and your car is just missing! So long story short I had to take a Lyft to Ron May towing from South Everett to North Everett cost me $20 to find out I'm an hour early and it cost $95 extra to get my car before 8am.... But these guys are so great I got treated like I was family, they understood my situation sucked and I didn't deserve it but for them to be so gracious kind and understanding even though it cost me $350 I couldn't recommend a better place! This place is filled with a bunch of uneducated, ill-mannered set of people all geared-up to make money at all cost using the book in a crooked way. if you give this company 5 stars it indicates you are related to someone there or you've been paid to do so because they don't even deserve a star. They tow your car acting friendly but once your car is in their yard beware from then on it's a different ball game. my car was towed and sold and this God-forsaken low-life hiring company sent me to collection, they told me my car was auctioned for $1000 when only the wheels on the vehicle is worth over, they didn't even send a letter to let me know I still owe after selling my car ,I just received a letter from collection because they are all programed to be dubious. Despicable practices! Our car was stolen Thursday night. A police report was filed and the plates were flagged that it was a stolen vehicle and Snohomish County Sheriff's Dept and ourselves needed to be called ASAP. The thieves abandoned it at an apartment complex tonight and these jerks towed it even though the police had all of our info and we could have been there IMMEDIATELY to retrieve it. Made US pay over $500 to get it back depsite the fact we did not leave it there, it was STOLEN, and the police report was readily available for corroboration. We shouldn't be liable for this. And the driver wasn't even back to the lot with it yet when we got hold of him. Shame on this company! $550 for a "tow" and less than 12 hours of storage is absolutely exorbitant and ludicrous. You are as bad as the thieves who stole our car. You disgust me. read more

One star is not low, if Yelp allowed negative stars they would be receiving negative infinite stars. Absolutely horrendous service on all fronts, from management to drivers. This company would not tow a vehicle involved in an accident unless it was to their yard so they can charge upwards of $7500 to remove it the next day including highway cleanup fees that THEY did not actually do. What company that has been in service for so long does not do online payments?!!!! They would not tow our vehicle to a location that another tow truck company can then tow our vehicle to our body shop in Kent. Anyone highly recommending their service was either paid or knows the owner on a personal basis. No one would in their right mind give this company any stars for horrendous service. WE deal with tow truck companies all over the state of Washington and never have encountered a company that MOST likely contracts with State Patrol to remove vehicles and extort you for money. Outrageous towing fees for only having the car for a single night. When I went to get my car back I had to enter through the passenger side and climb to get into the drivers seat because they had the car in the back of the lot and too close to another car. This place is a joke. read more

If you love your car, don't let these guys tow it!!!! Our black car was towed from a disabled space, with a placard in the windshield, from our apartment complex the other night. We went to pick the car up from Ron May Towing in Everett, after we paid the exorbitant impound and storage fee, we walked in to their lot to get the car, when we opened the door the seal around the door was hanging down (from when they used a lock out kit to access the interior). They also scratched the shit out of the top rear corner of the door jamb (from when they used a lock out kit to access the interior)!!! When I asked if a lock out kit was used, because the black paint was scratched up around the door jamb, i was told "They put it on dollies to tow it", completely avoiding the question and the damage altogether!!!! We take very good care of this car so the damage wasn't from us and I know what a lock out kit is because I own two and I've been in auto repair for 38 years and own a tow truck!! After reading the reviews, I may have had an atypical experience, but I still wanted to leave a review as I worked as a dispatcher for multiple towing companies and later AAA years ago. With that sort of experience you know that accidents are emotional experiences for many people. Some people love their cars with a passion and some people have been involved in injury or fatal accidents. It happens. If you're behind the counter you're the face of a company to your customers and there's no reason to treat them cruelly. I'm not talking about people who are mad that they parked illegally and were towed or had their cars impounded, I'm talking about people experiencing loss. You should treat them with at least a polite, professional amount of empathy and respect. When I arrived I waited a moment for someone to help me. Three people were behind the counter but I didn't want to interrupt. Eventually the first woman who acknowledged my presence growled to the younger woman to take care of me. It sounded more like a threat than service. The woman who did end up helping me was trying (even though the other woman seemed extremely put out to have to assist even answering questions from her own staff) and evidentially the driver who towed the car was pleasant, but the other judgmental and rude office staff were anxiety inducing for no reason. I've had to interact with these people four times now and I hope never again. I love my cars, and I love my family, so I will never be subjecting either to this company again. read more
