Every Unprofessional-like. They towed my car from a neighborhood where permit parking is allowed and charged 300 dollars. After I picked up the car, I found out my car started making rattling and clicking sounds. He was extremely disrespectful and actually had the nerve to cuss and dosrespect us over our own property. I will never come here again and i will refer everyone else to a better towing provider. I'm a single mom of 4 and life has not been so kind to me lately I just moved into my own apartment and had a good job and a car. Well I got laid off so I've been looking for a new job well I came home on monday the 1st and someone was parked in my parking spot so I parked in the one next to mine . Mind you the lady who parking spot it is dont own a car and has let me park there before well I walked up to the office to tell them that someone is in my spot so I walk back down to my apartment went inside for twenty min and when I came back out my car was gone..so I called ron may towing to explain the chain of event's and the guy that I talk to was the most rudest man I've ever spoken to he told me that yes he did tow my car and that it would be 375 dollar plus my car had not even made it to the yard yet so it's a hourly charge and it would be another hour and half before I would be able to get it so your talking 4hundred and something dollars to get out mind you I started to cry at this point cause he was so mean I told him hey look it has not been a easy couple of month for me I just lost my job just had to pay rent my child has been out of control getting in trouble and I just got out of the hospital for trying to take my life cause I feel like a failure to me and my family could you please cut me a brake and this guy says to me sorry about your luck but it is what it is .. I could not even believe one person could possibly be so mean I meant the lady who had my car towed only did it cause she was having a bad day and wanted someone to share in her misery and this man wants to charge me almost 500 bucks and my car hasn't even made it there so I told him marry christmas to you cause not only going to be homeless but now I dont even have a car to sleep in but thanks for everything and he said your welcome have a great day and hung up the phone ...I could not even think about doing or treating someone who clearly was trying to meet him half way but to explain to him that this is all I have to better my future and he basically laughed in my face . I practically live on the road behind the wheel and (SURPRISE!), the temperature gauge needle was suddenly pinned to the extreme and then the engine made that super hot rattle noise I had to pull off into the weeds. It was pitch dark as far as the eye could see, Ink-black out, 11 o'clock, Sunday night, no street lights and near Granite Falls. The worst unsafe condition to be stranded in, in a food truck. So as I prepared to go to war against a band of ravenous foreign nationals, or a local meth-head gang, that I imagined would soon descend upon me to try to murder and rob me of 20 bucks let alone anything else I had, (You had to be there), I called my commercial industry towing insurance company that promised me everything and delivered nothing for several hours. It had been a hot summer day so I couldn't imagine shivering with teeth chattering and no coat in the vehicle when I began calling what turned out to be "16" different tow companies, most that said 24 hour service but just weren't there Monday am, except Dicks that said they would do it for over $500. So that wasn't the highway robbery I was expecting... I made a few more calls in hope of not encouraging, extortion or averous greed, and at 6:30 Monday morning I got ahold of Ron Mays towing who said my truck was no problem whatsoever! He got there in about 20 minutes. I thawed out in the warm tow truck and my van and I were back to Edmonds including tax, a hair under $200. Tow truck driver Andrew could not have been more ultra professional. A side note, my insurance company, National General, sent me a check for the full amount and put two of their dispatch employees on unemployment. This tow company is the worst! They lied to us about how much our tow bill was so our car had to sit all weekend and we would owe more! They also told us over the phone if we couldn't pay out tow that we could just sign our title over to them well that was a lie too cause when we brought the title in they said oh we don't do that. We received the tow bill from the wsp and found out how much our tow bill really was!!! This place really screwed us! I called for a tow from Costco since my car wouldn't start after fueling up and the gas attendant had gotten my car running but it wouldn't stay running. I was told it would be about an hour. I decided I could get my Costco shopping done but the driver was there in 25 - 30 minutes, had my car hooked up and ready to go in a matter of minutes. We were home by the time I was told that he would arrive at Costco! The driver backed the truck up and park my SUV right in the garage at home. Friendly service. So my engine blows up, and I call for a tow. I've had many experiences with many companies, but I have to say that I have never been so amazed than this. The service I received from RON MAY TOWING & RECOVERY was outstanding. The driver, Adam #126 was fast, courteous, and a work Animal. I have seen it take 30-45 to strap up the car and be on the way, so you know the kind of dread you feel after waiting forever for them to show. Not the case this time. Like I said, this kid was an animal! He had the car hooked up and on the way in simply minutes. This was an all wheel drive vehicle, and he wasn't driving a flatbed. He built an entire cage around the car in minute's f-ing amazing. On a Tuesday afternoon during heavy I-5 traffic I lost power in my truck and limped off the freeway at 41st St. I called Ron May Towing from my mobile and Dolly answered my call, she could probably tell I was a bit stressed and she was very friendly, outgoing and professional. Within a few minutes Dolly had a truck and driver on scene. Ron May scooped up my truck and delivered it to the repair shop in Marysville within 45 minutes. This review has been a longtime coming. At the time Ron Mays Towing was very good. Not saying this reputation has changed in any way. I do know when the weather is bad and cold that the last place I want to be is tinkering when the car does not run. So I called Ron May up and within an hour the two truck arrived. The person driving was helpful and cheerful, seemed motivated. When all hooked up we got in the truck and took it to the mechanic I had selected. While car was being examined I said my goodbyes to the driver. Good experience in bad weather. read more

I started having engine trouble at peak traffic time on a busy road in Everett when it stopped running in the middle of 112th. They were there in 20 minutes to help. As the driver was getting my jeep hooked up, it got hit by a drunk driver. If it had been just a few seconds later Scott would have been fully underneath and been killed as the drunk made no attempt to even break. He reacted quickly, stopped the drunk driver who was trying to drive off, called the police, got a second truck to come out and help, facilitated a drop off and check in of my vehicle at a trustworthy auto shop and helped me by writing statements for the police. Scott, Josh (the second driver) and the owner Dolly (this all happened very close to her home) even continued to try and stop the drunk drivers girlfriend from taking him before police arrived. I couldn't be more thankful for how well they handled all of this and the assistance they provided in such a stressful situation. read more

This company was helpful when our complex + security was NOT. Junkies ditched a VERY suspicious, smashed up car with no permit. After calls to complex security and Charlie at the towing company we were finally able to get it approved to have the car towed. Charlie was very kind and helpful to us, and even risked being bum rushed onces the addicts realized their gold mine was being taken. If it wasn't for him this car would have sat for longer than the week that It did (despite being told by the complex that cops were called several times *cough lie, cough*). What a horrible service from Ron May Towing! Unbelievable! So I had my car broken down about a mile from my home. Called my Insurance company for towing assistance and got msg later that Ron May Towing is coming and ETA about 2 hrs so we TOLD insurance company we will walk home so we don't seat there in the middle of the night and they said ok. 3 hours later the Towing guy called saying he's on his way, ok. First he said he could not find the street the car is at and that he needs a full address. Not true, we were able to find that street on our GPS just fine but ok we looked up an address for him. So he called and said if we're there because he'll be there soon. We said insurance company said we don't have to be there and that we will be home waiting. He called again later and said we have to be there. Don't know why but ok we said we have to walk in the middle of the night at this point but we'll be there 15 minutes. When we were almost there 10 minutes later we heard a Towing truck drive away the opposite direction away from the main road because he knew we were walking and didn't want us to see him. So we called and said if he's there he said, I can't find your car and I can't wait, you're not there so I can't tow your car. We just said we are here! He could have turned around! He should have waited in the first place! I'm a woman standing there in the middle of the night and that guy just left us stranded!!!! Besides horrible service what a horrible human being you are! Could not wait a few minutes and just left! Wow! You should be fired! And I hope Karma will get you back soon! DON'T USE RON MAY TOWING! THEY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED! Unprofessional douche! We've always personally and professionally used Ron May but never again after a damaged front end resulted from the tow drivers incorrect hook up. Our repair shop and our photos concurred but legal action would have been more costly. Sad they didn't have the business integrity to pay the repair. read more

This company is deceitful and has terrible customer service. They refuse to work with anyone, don't care about people or their circumstances. They towed a broken down vehicle before it could be removed by the owner, didn't send a notice, then sent a "second notice" that they had already contacted the owner (complete lie!) and had already racked up thousands of dollars in impound and storage fees. Then, if you can't pay they will not let you take your vehicle, they hold it hostage and continue to rack up additional storage fees until your vehicle is sold at auction. My advise, if it is at all possible to avoid these people, do it. There is no reason to willingly spend your money at a company that robs from people and calls it good business. read more

I just used Ron May towing service. They were fantastic, the driver Adam #126 got to work right away getting my 1970 motor home ready for towing. He was very knowledgeable about his job, and a pleasant guy. It didn't matter how heavy the job was he didn't complain, and was very good about the quality of his service. He took awesome care when parking my vehicle at the dealer. He actually took time to get out and physically check that he could back in safely, and not crunch the motor home. He waited for me to talk with the service center, and gave me a ride to where I work. I'm always going to call Ron May and request Adam for all my towing needs. Thanks Adam, and Ron May. read more
