He scraped out the old bit, re-papered, and then finished the patch with a textured skim coat on top. It matches PERFECTLY. My home has an older, paint clad texture that's fairly different from the smooth and sandy textures that are so popular today. I didn't even think it COULD be matched, but he did an amazing job. Very happy with Ronco! The offer was competitive and he prepared quickly . It was not the cheapest but he wanted to open biggest area to be safe on and have better results. Defiantly good way to go about it. Water proofing was very detailed. The results also great and texture was imitated perfectly with direction etc. he also did better job doing texture around windows than original builder :) Pretty good communication over text messages and yelp, he also give me some suggestion on how to best tape the window I have high confidence nothing will leak. The guy was nice and very professional. The only issue im having is his skill level . No disrespect to him but I give his skill level 6 out of 10 . He doesn't know how to blend in the stucco to the surrounding area. I asked him to comeback the second time to fix the problem and he still cannot blend it in , it still look ugly.
