We had a house fire that just burned one room, but the smoke damage required taking the inside of our house down to the studs. Adrian Micle and his project manager Heraldo Yoquet have rebuilt our house with the highest quality standards. RonDell has chosen excellent subcontractors for each stage of the restoration. Adrian and Heraldo have helped us make good decisions for many items. My wife and I had ideas about how things should be rebuilt, and RonDell made it happen. In many cases we opted for extras, at our own expense. My roof was 25 years old. The insurance would only cover the damaged portions, so we opted to pay extra to get the whole roof replaced. Adrian and Heraldo communicated very well during the reconstruction. Heraldo proved to be an expert at scheduling the subcontractors to keep the restoration moving along. Heraldo hired an expert architect to draw the plans and get our building permit. We were upset that it took 3 months to get a building permit from Orange County, but in talking to my neighbors, some of them are waiting a year to get a permit for a substantial remodel. Now we are so very appreciative of the service that Adrian and Heraldo have provided. RonDell Restoration took care of communications with the insurance company, the mortgage company and the county for permits and inspections. TL;DR: Adrian at RonDell is incredibly professional and experienced in dealing with insurance and reconstruction. Go with RonDell and make sure you get Adrian. If you are in an insurance nightmare, Adrian and team will be the calm place you need. RonDell came to our rescue and got things done! We had a water leak and ended up having to gut the entire kitchen. I had called 15 other companies looking for one that could meet our HOA's [ridiculous] insurance requirements for a rebuild after mitigation. Jeff at RonDell answered my call, got us the insurance info needed, and got things rolling. Thank you Jeff for beefing up your coverage! This turned out to be so much better than just meeting that requirement. Our condo insurance company was dragging their feet and kept asking for more and more. Then we met Adrian who said something amazing - he had worked with our adjuster before. He had experience in what the insurance needed to make things happen. From the first moments I met Adrian, I knew we were in good hands. He came out to asses the damage, take measurements, and kindly answer many many many questions from me. He was on time every time and called to let us know he was on his way. He got the estimate built out quickly and over to our insurance adjuster, and would you guess what happened? We finally got a green light from insurance to move forward!! (2 other estimates were submitted by other contractors that never saw a response from our insurance.) He was also flexible through this 3 month long process. Our insurance adjuster dragged their feet the whole way which is why it took so long. Adrian and team were on top of it! The moment we got the approval, Adrian got to work and things were rebuilt and repaired in a very quick amount of time. The folks he brought in to work on things were also professional, made sure they go the job done to our satisfaction, and on many occasions asked the right questions before proceeding when there were questions instead of just plowing through to just check the 'done' box. Although I know we were not his only job, it certainly felt like we were. He was responsive, explained things clearly, and always set appropriate expectations. His experience shone through in so many ways. From building out the Xactimate estimate in the beginning to the last day we finally moved back into our condo, Adrian made sure we were happy with the work and the work was getting done well. Not only do they show up when they are supposed to but they call when they say they are going to. Nowadays contractors are a tough group to work with. Unless you have a $200,000 project going they barely look at you. Most the time they don't even call backor they say they are coming and don't bother. We had a small fire in our outdoor fireplace. Yes the fire was in the wrong place not where the fire should've been. Lol nevertheless the fire department came and put it out but not before taking off the entire roof. The next event was a wind event not even two weeks later. The awning fell and broke the granite on one of the islands. So glad Mercury hasn't cancel us....yet. Needless to say we hired the contractor that the insurance company sent out to give an estimate of how much it would cost to repair the damages. This was a good move. Rondell provided courteous, professional service and the quality of the work and attention to detail was incomparable. Originally we spoke to Matt. I have known Rondell (previously Jerry's) for about 15 years. I used to work with them through my employer as they were a recommended contractor. During that time they always provided great customer service and beautiful work. Also, our customers we referred to them were always happy.
