A lady forgot to grab the toy from the counter after paying for it, and the cashier went to go find her. We even saw her walking through the lines of vehicles waiting to board with the toy in her hand. I hope she found her!

As we were checking out, I left part of family inside and I raced to get back into the car line. As my family found each other on the ferry, we realized we had left some of our treasured items at the counter. As it turns out, another passenger offered to take it aboard to find us. We did not connect but we were amazed that they all tried so hard to find us. When we later spoke with the owner, Paula Capitano she offered to gather the items (again) and send them to us at no charge. Lovely people, lovely shop, and lovely memories from Orcas Island.
