Fantastic unique shop in Lynden! I have visited Wear on Earth many times since I discovered this gem. It is a yarn store so expansive you might think you stepped through a portal into New York City. Look no further. You will find high quality beautiful exotic yarns that are available no where else, plus a huge selection of fiber arts books, knitting and crochet needles, felting supplies, etc etc. To top it off you will have fun looking through Wearonearth's huge selection of quality consignment clothing. As we all know, vintage clothing is superior in quality to anything manufactured today. Oh and did I mention the shopkeeper? You will never find a friendlier, happier, kinder, smarter person. Great 1st stop on the 2018 LYS Tour. We traveled here from California and found the shopkeeper to be warm and inviting. We were able to use the rest room in the store too, unlike others reviews said they were not able to. She has a nice selection of a wide variety of yarns and also a pre-owned section of clothing and accessories. I did not take the time to look at anything other than yarn. I would come back again if I was in the area. read more

Store was jammed packed and full of high quality name brand consignment clothing. Very well organized and fun to shop. If you don't live in the area of Lynden it would be well worth your time to make the drive and visit this amazing shop. It is so full of treasures that the owner has placed a sign on the door saying they are not accepting new consignments at this time. I loved their selection of quality winter coats and jackets. Unfortunately I arrived just ten minutes before their closing time of 5.30 and didn't have time to try on and make a selection. I will try to find a way to get there before that closing time sometime soon. read more

Horrible Customer Service. We were on the LYS Puget Sound Yarn Crawl and traveled to this store. The store is in a remote location near the Canduan Border. They do not have a public restroom and very rudely tell customers they have to walk across a very large parking lot to use the facilities at McDonalds. I wonder how McDonalds feels about the store sending people to their business to use the facilities? I also doubt they don't have a customer bathroom. A yarn store has classes. Do they make students leave the store during class to use the restroom? They refused to give us our patterns for the Crawl unless we went to use the McDonalds facilities and came back. Congrats Wear on Earth you lost a $300 yarn sale. They had yarn for a pattern we had been looking for all day. We came back got the worst patterns on the tour and left. Unless forced I will never set foot in there again. read more

If it was possible to give this shop less than 1 star, that's what they would have earned today from me. This this is one of the worst yarn stores I've been in! The owner/worker was not only rude to me but was rude to her grandson as well. Maybe they should have a no kid at work policy! The yarn was average, it wasn't anything I couldn't have gotten closer to Lynnwood, I didn't have to drive all the way to Lynden to be insulted. The customer service was deplorable! Also if you are going to take "one" persons drink, you should take ALL drinks! I guess you have to be a local and a regular in order to keep your drink with your person. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO YHIS YARN STORE!!! read more

The Absolute WORST customer service I have ever seen!!! Was in there right before closing with my mom we had about 10 min left till close, the manager or owner whoever it was received a phone call stormed into the back were we could still clearly hear his conversation (which he was yelling and cursing) that set me off and I told my mom how unprofessional it sounded at that point the lady and the counter told us they were closing in 8 min right after that he stormed out of the back and told us to bring our things to the counter now cause they are closing mind you seconds before that we were told we had 8 min. I didn't have anything to purchase and even if I did with the way he angrily stormed out and demanded we cone to the counter I would have hung it right back up! I will NEVER step foot back in that store that was terrible!! Even if your having a bad night don't run your customers out because of it! Way to loose business!! So don't bother going to this store there rude and overly priced on there clothes!! Go to ReStyle or Labels for consignment! read more

2 brand new pairs of Rockport shoes were consigned here, they typically go from $80 to $100 a pair in a store and I get $18 for my effort. If there was a zero star option they would get it. Never consigning anything there again, total ripoff. read more

As a firm believer of shop local before trying a big national name stores. You would think customer service would be the utmost importance to this business. However I find customer service lacking. As the owners are extremely rude, not to mention not too knowledgeable about the products they sell. Then the clothing is over priced for a consignment shop. You can buy brand new clothes at big name stores for often less or the same prices, with sales and coupons. The older female owner speaks very rudely and down to her customers and has been overheard speaking to the employees as if they were a rug you walk on. read more
